Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a método para esterelizar superficies contaminadas microbiológicamente a temperaturas y humedades ambientales que comprende a) secar las superficies b) separar substancialmente todo el aire de el contacto con las superficies y c) poner en contacto las superficies al menos durante aproximadamente una hoja con una atmósfera que consiste de una cantidad de esterilizante de gas dióxido de cloro en mezcla con una cantidad de gas inerte suficiente para ajustar la presión de la mezcla gaseosa a aproximadamente una atmósfera, un aparato para esterelizar implementos que comprende una cámara de exposición, medios para evacuar la cámra y medios para generar una cantidad esterilizante de gas dióxido de cloro, los medios generadores están asociados con medios para introducir el gas dióxido de cloro en la cámara en mezcla con un gas portador inerte.
