Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento mejorado para la preparación de un éster de sulfóxido de 3-exometilencefam de fórmula I: donde R es el resto de un ácido carboxílico y R1 es un grupo protector del ácido carboxílico, el procedimiento consiste en agregar una solución de una 4-clorosulfinilazetidin-2-ona de fórmula II: en un disolvente inerte, bajo condiciones esencialmente anhidras y a una temperatura comprendida aproximadamente entre -15 y + 45 grados C, alrededor de 1,5 a 3 moles de cloruro estánico por mol de la citada azetidinona, en presencia de alrededor de 1 a 2,0 moles de un compuesto oxo por mol de la citada azetidinona, separar el complejo formado y descomponet dicho complejo; en donde la mejora consiste en realizar la adición de cloruro estánnico y del citado compuesto oxo en presencia de un compuesto no saturado seleccionado de entre el grupo formado por olefinas C2,10 olefinas cíclicas C5-C10, diolefinas no conjugadas C5-10, alenos C3-10 y dienos cíclicos no conjugaods C6-10
