Abstract

본 발명은 액정표시장치의 구동방법에 관한 것으로서, 특히 데이타전압에 의해 발생하는 수평 크로스토크(Crosstalk)현상을 방지하도록 한 액정표시장치의 구동 방법에 관한 것이다.
상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 발명에 따른 액정표시장치의 구동방법은 게이트신호의 전압펄스에 의해 액정표시장치를 선순차 구동하는데 있어서, 데이타신호의 전압펄스의 인가시간보다도 짧으며, 데이타신호의 최고전압펄스에서 발생하는 공통전극신호의 왜곡시간을 제외한 시간동안 상기 게이트신호의 전압펄스를 인가함을 특징으로 한다.
따라서, 본 발명에 따른 액정표시장치의 구동방법은 공통전극신호의 왜곡에 의해 발생되는 수평 크로스토크를 제거하므로 화질을 향상시키는 효과가 있다.

Claims (1)

  1. 게이트신호의 전압펄스에 의해 액정표시장치를 선순차 구동하는데 있어서, 데이타신호의 전압펄스의 인가시간보다도 짧으며, 데이타신호의 최고전압펄스에서 발생하는 공통전극신호의 왜곡시간을 제외한 시간동안 상기 게이트신호의 전압펄스를 인가함을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
