Abstract

본 발명은 광 디스크 영상/음성 기록 및 재생 장치에 관한 것으로서, 특히 디스크를 회전시켜 주는 스핀들 모터의 속도를 제어하기 위한 광 디스크 플레이어의 스핀들 서보 장치에 관한 것이다.
본 발명은 스핀들 모터의 회전수를 검출하는 스핀들 모터 회전 검출부, 상기 스핀들 모터 회전 검출부의 출력 신호를 펄스 파형으로 전환시켜 출력하는 제1비교부, 상기 비교부 출력을 입력하여 입력 신호의 주파수에 비례하는 전압으로 변환하여 출력하는 주파수-전압 변환부, 상기 주파수-전압 변환부의 출력을 입력하여 입력 전압에 따라서 제어를 받아 이에 상응하는 주파수의 발진 신호를 출력하는 전압 제어 발진부, 상기 스핀들 모터의 회전에 따른 디스크의 신호를 검출하여 출력하는 픽업부, 상기 픽업부의 출력 신호를 펄스 파형으로 전환시켜 출력하는 제2비교부, 상기 전압 제어 발진부의 출력 신호와 상기 제2비교부의 출력 신호를 입력하여 제2비교부 출력 신호와 전압 제어 발진부 출력 신호를 비교하여 에러 신호를 출력하는 에러 신호 검출부, 상기 에러 신호 검출부의 출력을 입력하여 적분하기 위한 적분부, 상기 적분부의 출력으로 스핀들 모터를 구동하는 구동부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 의하면 스핀들 모터의 속도를 조절할 수 있고 이로 인하여 열 대책을 세울 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 킥 및 브레이크 전압의 감소로 인하여 악세스 시간도 줄일 수 있는 효과가 있다.

Claims (2)

  1. 스핀들 모터의 회전수를 검출하는 스핀들 모터 회전 검출부; 상기 스핀들 모터 회전 검출부의 출력 신호를 펄스 파형으로 전환시켜 출력하는 제1비교부; 상기 비교부 출력을 입력하여 입력 신호의 주파수에 비례하는 전압으로 변환하여 출력하는 주파수-전압 변환부; 상기 주파수-전압 변환부의 출력을 입력하여 입력 전압에 따라서 제어를 받아 이에 상응하는 주파수의 발진 신호를 출력하는 전압 제어 발진부; 상기 스핀들 모터의 회전에 따른 디스크의 신호를 검출하여 출력하는 픽업부; 상기 픽업부의 출력 신호를 펄스 파형으로 전환시켜 출력하는 제2비교부; 상기 전압 제어 발진부의 출력 신호와 상기 제2비교부의 출력 신호를 입력하여 제2비교부의 출력 신호와 전압 제어 발진부 출력 신호를 비교하여 에러 신호를 출력하는 에러 신호 검출부; 상기 에러 신호 검출부의 출력을 입력하여 적분하기 위한 적분부; 상기 적분부의 출력으로 스핀들 모터를 구동하는 구동부를 포함하여 스핀들 모터의 속도를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 디스크 플레이어의 스핀들 서보장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 에러 신호 발생부는 상기 제2비교부의 출력 신호에서 폴링 엣지 부분을 전후하여 상기 전압 제어 발진부의 출력 신호의 1주기에 해당하는 펄스 신호를 비교하여 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 디스크 플레이어의 스핀들 서보 장치.
