Abstract

반사 성능을 용이하고 안정하게 제어할 수 있고, 더우기 공정의 복잡화를 초래하지 않고 표시 성능을 충분히 향상시킬 수 있는 산란성 반사면 및 산란성 반사면을 이용한 반사형 액정 표시 장치를 제공한다. 액정층을 거쳐 입사한 광을 반사면이 반사시키도록 한 반사형 액정 표시 장치에 있어서, 상기 반사면은 고반 사율을 갖는 금속으로 형성함과 동시에 상기 반사면과 접하도록 광산란층을 설치한 구조로 한다. 더우기, 상기 광산란층은 광반사특성이 있는 미립자를 투명한 매체를 함유시킨 것을 사용하여 형성한다.

Claims (3)

  1. 액정층을 거쳐 입사한 광을 반사면이 반사시키도록 한 반사형 액정표시장치에 있어서 상기 반사면을 고반사율을 갖는 반사부재로 형성함과 동시에, 그 반사면 표면측은 광산란구조로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
  2. 액정층을 거쳐 입사한 광을 반사면이 반사시키도록 한 반사형 액정표시장치에 있어서 상기 반사면을 고반사율을 갖는 반사부재로 형성함과 동시에, 그 반사면 표면층은 광산란층을 설치한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
  3. 액정층을 거쳐 입사한 광을 반사면이 반사시키도록 한 반사형 액정표시장치에 있어서, 상기 반사면을 고반사율을 갖는 반사부재로 형성함과 동시에, 그 반사면 표면층은 광 반사 특성이 있는 미립자를 혼입한 투명매체에 의한 광산랑층을 설치한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
