Abstract

본 발명은 자동차의 운전자 충돌보호장치에 관한 것으로, 에어백(1)이 내장된 조향핸들(2)이 장착되는 제1조향축(3)이 제2 조향축(4)에 끼워져 핀(5)을 매개로 분리가능하게 결합되고, 상기 제2 조향축(4)의 하부에는 제1 조향축(3)이 압축될 때에 탄력적으로 지지하여 충격을 적절히 흡수하는 충격흡수스프링(6)이 장착된 구조로 되어, 자동차의 충돌시에 에어백이 팽창될 때에 그 팽창반력으로 인해 제1 조향축이 제2 조향축내부로 압축되어 에어백의 충돌시간을 시연시켜 줌으로써 운전자가 에어백이 완전하게 팽창되기 이전에 충돌해서 입을 상해를 방지할 수 있게 된다.

Claims (1)

  1. 에어백(1)이 내장된 조향핸들(2)이 장착되는 제1 조향축(3)이 제2 조향축(4)에 끼워져 핀(5)을 매개로 분리 가능하게 결합되고, 상기 제2 조향축(4)의 하부에는 제1 조향축(3)이 압축될 때에 탄력적으로 지지하여 충격을 적절히 흡수하는 충격흡수스프링(6)이 장착된 구조로 이루어진 자동차의 운전자 충돌보호장치.
