Abstract

에폭시 수지를 에폭시 그룹당 1몰 당량에 달하는 알킬 또는 알케닐 치환되고 히드록시 치환된 방향족 산과 반응시킴으로써 특히, 비스테놀 A 기본된 에폭시 수지를 알킬화된 살리실산과 반응시킴으로써 수득될 수 있는 변형된 에폭시 수지. 이러한 변형된 수지, 변형된 에폭시 수지를 포함하는 경화 가능한 조성물 및 특히 코팅용 및 토목 공학적 응용에 있어서의 경화된 조성물과 함께 제공되는 산물을 위한 방법이 또한 기술되어 있다.

Claims (10)

  1. 에폭시 수지를 에폭시 그룹당 1몰 당량 이하의 알킬 또는 알케닐 치환되고 히드록시 치환된 방향족 산과 반응시킴으로써 수득되는 변형된 에폭시 수지.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 치환된 방향족 산이 치환된 벤조산인 에폭시 수지.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 치환된 벤조산이 알킬 치환된 살리실산, 바람직하게는 2-히드록시-3-알킬 벤조산이고, 여기서 알킬 치환체가 6 내지 24개의 탄소 원자를 함유하는 직쇄 또는 측쇄 알킬 그룹인 에폭시 수지.
  4. 제1항 내지 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 치환된 방향족산의 몰 양이 10 내지 40% 바람직하게는 약20%인 에폭시 수지.
  5. 제1항 내지 4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 에폭시 화합물이 일반식(I)을 갖는 에폭시 수지.
    CH2OCH―CH2―O―C6X4―A―C6x4―O―(CH|2CH(OH)CH2OC6X4―A―C6X4)n―O―CH|2―CHOCH2(I)
    상기 식에서, A는 1 내지 8개의 탄소 원자를 갖는 2가 탄화수소 그룹, ―C(O)―, ―O―, ―S―, ―S―S―, ―S(O)―, ―S(O)2― 또는 공유 결합이고, X는 각각 독립적으로 수소, 1 내지 4개의 탄소 원자를 갖는 알킬그룹, 염소 또는 브롬이며, n은 0 내지 12의 평균값을 가지며, 바림직하게는 A는 메틸렌 또는 이소프로필렌이며, X는 수소 또는 브롬이며 n은 0 내지 2의 평균값을 가진다.
  6. 제1항 내지 4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 에폭시 화합물이 에폭시 노보락 수지인 에폭시 수지.
  7. 에폭시 수지를 알킬 또는 알케닐 치환되고 히드록시 치환된 방향족 산과 반응시킴으로써 제1항 내지 6항중 어느 한 항에 따른 에폭시 수지를 제조하는 방법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 반응이 100 내지 200℃의 온도에서 반응 혼합물내에 초기에 존재하는 본질적으로 모든 히드록시 치환된 방향족 산이 반응할때까지 수행되고 촉매로서 3급 아민, 4급 암모니움 또는 포스포니움 화합물 또는 금속 염이 사용되는 방법.
  9. 제1항 내지 6항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 에폭시 수지와 가교제를 포함하는 코팅 조성물.
  10. 제9항에 따른 경화된 코팅 조성물로 코팅된 제품.
