본 발명은 의도하는 중합의 최대 깊이에서, UV 방사의 영향하에 선택된 결합제의 중합이 주어진 시간 한도(단, 이러한 시간 한도는 재료의 표면 일부에서 방사 효과로 인한 유기 물질의 원하지 않는 분해를 일으키지 않아야 하며, 생산 라인에서 연속적으로 이동하는 섬유재의 경우에는 생산 라인의 속도에 적합 하여야 한다)내에 일어나도록 하는 역치를 초과하는 잔류 강도를 일으키기에 충분한 고강도 수준(IUV)에서 재료의 조사를 수생하고, 재료의 정해진 표면 단위를 조사하는 기간(t)을 상기 시간 한도내에서 유지시킴을 특징으로 하여, 정해진 두께(d)를 갖는 섬유재를 UV 조사시켜 섬유가 합침된 예비중합체 형태를 갖는 물질을 중합시킴으로써 섬유재 중에 물질, 특히 절연 목적용 광물모재 중에 결합재를 중합시키는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다.

Claims (15)

  1. 의도하는 중합의 최대 깊이에서, UV 방사의 영향하에 선택된 결합제의 중합이 주어진 시간 한도(단, 이러한 시간 한도는 재료의 표면 일부에서 방사 효과로 인한 유기 물질의 원하지 않는 분해를 일으키지 않아야하며, 생산 라인에서 연속적으로 이동하는 섬유재의 경우에는 생산 라인의 속도에 적합 하여야 한다)내에 일어나도록 하는 역치를 초과하는 잔류 강도를 일으키기에 충분한 고강도 수준(IUV)에서 재료의 조사를 수행하고, 재료의 정해진 표면 단위를 조사하는 기간(t)을 상기 시간 한도내에서 유지시킴을 특징으로 하여, 정해진 두께(d)를 가지며, 경우에 따라 생산 라인을 연속적으로 이동할 수 있는 섬유재를 UV 조사시켜 섬유가 함침된 예비중합체 형태를 갖는 물질을 중합시킴으로써 섬유재 중에 물질, 특히 절연목적용 광물모재 중에 결합제를 중합시키는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 광물모재의 표면에서 강도 수준(IUV)이 500mw/㎠, 바람직하게는 1mw/㎠, 및 특히는 2mw/㎠를 초과함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서, 사용한 UV 방사선의 파장이 250nm, 바람직하게는 310nm를 초과함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제1항 내지 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 표면 단위를 조사하는 기간(t)이 10초, 바람직하게는 1초, 및 특히는 0.5초 보다 짧음을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제1항 내지 4항 중의 어느 하나에 있어서, 광물모재의 표면을 방사전에 냉각시킴을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 제1항 내지 5항 중의 어느 하나에 있어서, 광물모재의 내부의 대기중에 함유된 산소 비율이 10% 미만, 바람직하게는 5% 미만, 특히는 1% 미만임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제1항 내지 6항 중의 어느 하나에 있어서, 조사가 재료의 두 주요 표면에 적용됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 양면이 동시에 방사됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  9. 제7항 또는 8항에 있어서, 저중합 구역이 재료의 중앙 영역에 제공됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  10. 제1항 내지 9항 중의 어느 하나에 있어서, 에폭시 아크릴레이트를 함유하는 물질의 혼합물이 결합제를 형성하는 예비중합체로서 사용됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  11. UV 방사를 폭(b)이 좁은 적어도 하나의 포커스된 빔(18)에 집중시키기 위한 수단(12)이 제공됨을 특징으로 하여, 적어도 하나의 UV 방사원(10)을 포함하는 섬유재 중에 물질, 예를 들어 특히 결합제를 중합시키는 장치.
