Abstract
본 발명은 가스 혼합물에서 산소 농도를 결정하기 위한 전기화학적인 센서에 관한 것이다. 상기 센서는 산소 이온 전도성을 가진 고체 전해질(10)을 가지며, 가스 혼합물의 평형을 촉매화 하지 않으며 가스 혼합물에 노출되는 측정 전극(11)을 구비한다. 상기 측정 전극(11)은 백금 및 비스무트를 가진다. 이들 재료의 영향은 CO 및 HC와 같은 다른 가스 성분과 반응하지 않고 가스 혼합물에 포함되는 자유 산소는 양호하게 흡수되는 것이다.

제2도는 센서가 가스 혼합물에 노출되는 2개 전극을 가지는 제2실시예에 따른 센서의 단면도.
Claims (8)
- 산소 이온 전도성을 가진 고체 전해질을 가지며, 가스 혼합물의 평형을 촉매화 하지 않으며 가스 혼합물에 노출되는 측정 전극을 구비하는 가스 혼합물에서 산소 농도를 결정하기 위한 센서에 있어서, 백금 함유 측정전극(11)에 측정 전극(11)의 촉매화 작용을 방지할 수 있는 재료가 부가되므로, 측정 전극(11)에서 자유 산소성분에 거의 대응하는 포텐실을 설정하는 것이 가능한 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 혼합물에서 산소 농도를 결정하기 위한 센서.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 백금 함유 측정 전극(11)에 부가되는 재료는 비스무트인 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 혼합물에서 산소 농도를 결정하기 위한 센서.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 비스무트 성분은 백금 및 비스무트의 전체량에 대하여 1 내지 50몰%인 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 혼합물에서 산소 농도를 결정하기 위한 센서.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 비스무트 성분은 백금 및 비스무트의 전체량에 대하여 5 내지 20몰%인 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 혼합물에서 산소 농도를 결정하기 위한 센서.
- 제2항 내지 제4항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 비스무트는 완전히 또는 부분적으로 안티몬에 의해 대체되는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 혼합물에서 산소 농도를 결정하기 위한 센서.
- 제2항 내지 제5항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 비스무트는 완전히 또는 부분적으로 납에 의해 대체되는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 혼합물에서 산소 농도를 결정하기 위한 센서.
- 제1항에 있어서, 가스 혼합물에 노출되는 측정 전극(21)은 가스 혼합물의 평형을 촉매화하는 작용을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 혼합물에서 산소 농도를 결정하기 위한 센서.
- 제1항에 있어서, 기준 가스에 노출되는 기준 전극(15)이 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 혼합물에서 산소 농도를 결정하기 위한 센서.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
