Abstract

인지가 오염된 경우에 자동적으로 그 인자헤드의 오염을 제거할 수 있는 열전사 프린터를 제공한다. 플래튼(2)에 따라 왕복이동 자유로운 캐리지(5)에 상기 플래튼(2)에 대해서 접근, 이격 자유로운 인자헤드(7)를 탑재하고, 상기 플래튼(2)의 인자자릿수 방향의 하류측 또는 상류측에 이 플래튼(2)의 연장선상에 클리닝헤드(20)를 배열설치한 것을 특징으로 한다.

제1도는 본 발명에 관한 열전사 프린터의 일실시예를 나타내는 플래튼(platen)부분의 평면도, 제2도는 본 발명에 관한 열전사 프린터의 일실시예를 나타내는 플래튼 부분의 정면도, 제3도는 본 발명에 관한 열전사 프린터 서멀헤드(thermal head) 클리닝 동작상태를 나타내는 플래튼 부분 평면도, 제4도는 종래 열전사 프린터의 주요부 구성을 나타내는 사시도, 제5도는 열전사 프린터의 서멀헤드 부분의 확대측면도, 제6도는 종래 열전사 프린터에서 서멀헤드의 오염상태를 나타내는 설명도, 제7도는 제6도에 나타낸 서멀헤드의 발열부의 확대단면도이다.

Claims (4)

  1. 플래튼에 따라 왕복이동 가능한 캐리지와, 상기 캐리지상에 탑재된 복수의 발열소자를 구비한 서멀헤드와, 상기 캐리지상에 착탈가능한 잉크리본 내부에 수납한 리본 카세트를 구비하고, 상기 서멀헤드를 상기 잉크리본 및 용지를 통해서 플래튼에 압전한 상태로 상기 캐리지를 이동시키면서, 상기 발열소자를 선택적으로 구동하여 상기 용지에 인자를 행하는 열전사 프린터에 있어서, 상기 플래튼의 인자자릿수 방향의 적어도 하류측 또는 상류측에 상기 플래튼의 연장상에 상기 서멀헤드가 압접해서 이동가능한 클리닝 패드를 배열설치한 것을 특징으로 하는 열전사 프린더.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 클리닝패드에서 상하방향으로 연장하는 홈이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 열전사 프린더.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 클리닝패드는 연마제를 포함한 용액을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 열전사 프린더.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 서멀헤드를 상기 클리닝패드에 압접한 상태로 이동시킬때, 상기 서멀헤드에 통전하는 것을 특징으로 하는 열전사 프린더.
