Abstract

LED(2)의 출사광에 대하여 상하 방향으로만 소요되는 좁은 지향성을 부여하도록 경사진 반사경(4a)를 갖고 알루미늄 판 등의 금속으로 일체로 형성된 반사면 부재(4)를, LED(2)를 배열한 LED 배열 기판(3)의 전면에 설치한다.
수평 방향의 시야각은 넓게 잡으면서도 수직 방향 시야각은 좁게하여 고휘도가 유지되는 표시 장치를 얻을 수 있다.

Claims (7)

  1. 복수의 발광 소자가 도트상으로 배열되어 화상 표시를 행하게 되어 있는 표시 장치에 있어서, 상기 발광 소자의 장착면에 대하여 소정의 경사각을 갖는 반사면부를 상기 각 발광 소자의 상하 방향으로 설치한 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 반사면부는 각각 수평 방향을 따라 연속하여 형성됨과 동시에, 상기 상하의 각 반사면부끼리를, 그 상단부 및 하단부의 각각에서 연결되도록 하여 일체로 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 일체로 형성된 반사면부는 하단부를 연결한 부분에서 상기 발광 소자가 노출하는 개구부가 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
  4. 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 상기 일체로 형성된 반사면부에 있어서, 연결 부분이 흑색면 또는 거친면으로 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 반사면부는 열전도성이 높은 재질로 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
  6. 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상이한 발광색의 발광 소자가 수평 방향으로 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
  7. 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 발광 소자는 발광 다이오드 소자로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
