Abstract

동작 구동에 따른 클락 신호를 출력하는 클락 신호 발생 수단과; 다수의 메모리 카드 및 입출력 카드로 이루어진 PCMCIA 카드와; 상기 클락 신호 발생 수단에서 출력되는 클락 신호에 따라 상기 PCMCIA 카드를 읽고 쓰기 위한 어드레스와 제어신호 및 구동 신호를 출력하는 메인 프로세서와; 상기 메인 프로세서의 출력단에 연결되어 메인 프로세서에서 인가되는 구동 신호에 따라 작동 신호를 출력한 다음, 인가되는 어드레스의 해당하는 제어 신호를 처리하여 해당하는 명령어를 출력한 다음 종료 신호를 출력하여 제어신호와 데이타의 송수신 상태를 제어하는 버스 접속 수단과; 상기 버스 접속 수단에서 출력되는 작동 신호에 따라 인가되는 명령어 의하여 해당하는 PCMCIA 카드의 데이타를 읽고 쓰는 동작을 수행한 다음, 인가되는 종료 신호에 따라 현재 수행하는 동작을 종료하는 PCMCIA 카드 제어 수단으로 이루어지는 엑스 터미널에서의 피시엠아이시에이 카드 제어기 접속 장치는, X-터미널상에서 다양한 기능을 제공하기 위하여 개인용 컴퓨터에 사용되는 PCMCIA카드를 접속시켜, 다양한 I/O기능을 용이하게 지원할 수 있으며 PCMCIA 메모리 카드를 이용하여 보다 편리하고 다양한 소프트웨어 지원을 할 수 있다.

제1도는 이 발명의 실시예에 따른 엑스 터미널에서의 메인 프로세서와 피시엠시아이에이 카드 제어기의 접속상태를 나타내는 구성 블럭도이고, 제2도는 이 발명의 실시예에 따른 엑스 터미널에서의 피시엠시아이에이 카드 제어기 접속 장치의 버스 접속 장치의 내부 구성도이고, 제3도는 이 발명의 실시예에 따른 엑스 터미널에서의 피이엠시아이에이 카드 제어기 접속 장치의 제어 신호의 동작 타이밍도이다.

Claims (2)

  1. 동작 구동에 따른 클락 신호를 출력하는 클락 신호 발생 수단과; 다수의 메모리 카드 및 입출력 카드로 이루어진 PCMCIA 카드와; 상기 클락 신호 발생 수단에서 출력되는 클락 신호에 따라 상기 PCMCIA 카드를 읽고 쓰기 위한 어드레스와 제어신호 및 구동 신호를 출력하는 메인 프로세서와; 상기 메인 프로세서의 출력단에 연결되어 메인 프로세서에서 인가되는 구동 신호에 따라 버스 사용 신호를 출력하고, 인가되는 어드레스 및 제어 신호를 처리하여 해당하는 명령어를 출력한 다음 종료 신호를 출력하여 제어신호와 데이타의 송수신 상태를 제어하는 버스 접속 수단과; 상기 버스 접속 수단에서 출력되는 버스 사용 신호에 따라 메인 프로세서에서 출력되는 어드레스를 입력하여, 인가되는 명령어 따라 해당하는 PCMCIA 카드의 데이타 읽기/쓰기 동작을 수행한 다음, 인가되는 종료 신호에 따라 현재 수행하는 동작을 종료하는 PCMCIA 카드 제어 수단으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 엑스 터미널에서의 피시엠아이시에이 카드 제어기 접속 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 버스 접속 수단은, 상기 메인 프로세서에서 출력되는 어드레스를 해독하여 PCMCIA 카드 제어 수단의 레지스터를 읽고 쓰는 칩선택 영역과, 메모리 카드를 읽고 쓸때 사용하는 메모리 윈도우 영역과, 입출력 카드에서 사용되는 입출력 윈도우 영역을 선택하기 위한 신호를 출력하는 어드레스 디코더와, 상기 어드레스 디코더의 출력단에 연결되어 메인 프로세서에서 인가되는 명령어 따라 메모리 카드를 억세스할 때 사용되는 명령어와, 입출력 카드와 PCMCIA 카드 제어 수단을 억세스할때 사용되는 명령어를 출력하는 버스 제어 신호 발생 수단과; 상기 어드레스 디코더의 출력단에 연결되어 메인 프로세서에서 인가되는 메모리 트랜잭션 스타트 신호에 따라 PCMCIA 카드 제어 수단을 작동시키기 위한 구동 신호를 출력하는 제1스테이트 발생 수단과; 상기 어드레스 디코더의 출력단에 연결되어 상기 PCMCIA 카드 제어 수단이 현재 작동하는 동작을 종료시키기 위한 종료 신호를 출력하는 제2스테이트 발생 수단으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 엑스 터미널에서의 피시엠아이시에이 카드 제어기 접속 장치.
