Abstract
본 발명은, 적어도 아크릴로니트릴계 단량체를 필수성분으로서 함유한 단량체를 괴상 또는 용액중합에 의해 단량체를 증발시키면서 80℃ 이상의 온도에서 (공)중합하는 방법에 있어서, 반응조내에 하부중합액에 대하여 상부에 기상부분을 형성할때, 이 기상의 온도를 30~65℃로 유지하고, 실질적으로 하부중합액으로부터의 증발증기를 반응조의 외부에 내지 않고 중합하는 것을 특징으로 하는 (공)중합체의 제조방법을 제공하는 것으로서, 본 발명의 방법에 의해, 반응조기상부를 냉각하고, 특정한 온도로 유지함으로써 기상부에서의 미반응모노머의 중합을 억제하고, 겔화한 폴리머가 제품속에 혼입하는 일없이, 또한 중합시의 반응열을 효율적으로 제거할 수 있는 것이다.

Claims (7)
- 적어도 아크릴로니트릴계 단량체를 필수성분으로서 함유하는 단량체를, 필요에 따라 고무형상중합체의 존재하에서, 괴상 또는 용액 (공)중합에 의해 (공)중합하는 방법에 있어서, 반응조의 속에서 중합액의 상부에 기상부를 형성하고 80℃ 이상의 온도에 있어서 단량체를 증발시켜서 중합시키고, 반응조벽면의 외부로부터 냉각함으로써 이 기상부의 온도를 30~65℃로 유지해서 중합액으로부터 발생하는 중기를 기상부에서 응축시켜서 (공)중합하는 것을 특징으로 하는 아크릴로니트릴(공)중합체의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 단량체가 스티렌계단량체를 필수성분으로서 함유한 것을 특징으로 하는 아크릴로니트릴계 (공)중합체의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 반응조가 외부에 상하로 적어도 2개로 분할된 재킷을 가지고 있고, 상부재킷의 온도는 하부재킷의 온도보다 낮게 조정되고, 상부재킷의 냉매온도가 -10~35℃로 조절되고, 이 반응조속에 있는 중합액의 액면이 상부재킷에 덮여 있는 부분에 접하도록 액면의 높이를 조절하는 것을 특징으로 하는 아크릴로니트릴계 (공)중합체의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 중합액으로부터 발생한 증기가, 응집한 미스트로서 반응조의 기상부에 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 아크릴로니트릴계 (공)중합체의 제조방법.
- 적어도 2개로 분할된 재킷을 가지고, 벽면중, 상부재킷에 덮여있는 벽면의 면적이 하부재킷에 덮여있는 벽면의 면적의 20% 이상을 차지하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 완전혼합형 중합반응조.
- 제5항에 있어서, 하부재킷이 가열수단을 가지고, 상부재킷이 냉각수단을 가진 것을 특징으로 하는 완전혼합형 중합반응조.
- 제5항에 있어서, 반응조기상부에 모노머 및/또는 용매의 공급관이 설치되어 있고, 이 공급관의 선단부가 이 반응조경판부 혹은 교반축에 근접하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 완전혼합형 중합반응조.※ 참고사항:최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
