Abstract

침상결정을 갖는 알칼리토류 금속 산화물로 된 전자방출물질층에 La 화합물과 Mg 화합물 또는 La-Mg 복합화합물중의 하나를 알칼리토류금속의 탄산염을 기준으로 하여 0.01 내지 20중량% 더 첨가하여 제조된 본 발명의 음극은 기존 음극의 제조 공정과 100% 호환성이 있으며 종래의 산화물 음극보다 수명이 15 내지 20% 이상 향상된 것이다.

Claims (3)

  1. 니켈을 주성분으로 하는 금속 기체상에 바륨을 주성분으로 하는 알칼리토류 금속의 탄산염이 분해되어 얻어진 알칼리토류 금속 산화물을 함유하는 전자방출물질층이 형성되어 있는 전자관용 음극에 있어서, 상기 전자방출물질층에 La 화합물과 Mg 화합물이 동시에 또는 La-Mg 복합화합물이 더 포합된 것을 특징으로 하는 전자관용 음극.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 La 화합물과 Mg 화합물, La-Mg 복합화합물은 상기 알칼리토류 금속의 탄산염에 La(NO3)3·6H2O와 Mg(NO3)·6H2O의 혼합물, 또는 Mg3La2(NO3)12·24H2O를 포함하는 혼합액을 금속기체의 상부에 도포하고 이를 가열, 분해시켜 얻어지는 것임을 특징으로 하는 전자관용 음극.
  3. 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서, 상기 La 화합물과 Mg 화합물의 혼합물, 또는 La-Mg 복합화합물이 상기 알칼리토류 금속 탄산염을 기준으로 하여 0.01 내지 20중량% 첨가된 것을 특징으로 하는 전자관용 음극.
