Abstract

본 발명은 다공성 기재에 의해 지지되는 미공성 흡착물질을 포함하는 복합 반투과성 막을 사용하여 수소-탄화 수소 혼합물을 분리하고, 이와 동일한 탄화 수소를 함유하는 소사 가스를 막의 저압 사이드를 통과시켜 탄화 수소의 투과능을 강화하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 메탄은 막 공급물증에 존재하는 경우에도 중 탄화 수소의 투과를 강화시키는 효율적인 소사 가스이다.

제1도는 압력 스윙 흡착 시스템과 통합된 흡착막을 나타내는 본 발명의 개략적인 공정도이다.
제2도는 압력스윙 흡착 시스템 및 탄화수소 개질 시스템과 통합된 흡착막을 나타내는 본 발명의 두번째 실시태양의 개략적인 공정도이다.

Claims (9)

  1. 하기(a)내지(c)단계를 포함하여, 수소 및 이 수소 보다 흡착 물질상에 더 강하게 흡착되는 1종 이상의 탄화 수소를 포함하는 기체 혼합 공급물로 부터 수소를 회수하는 방법; (a)상기 혼합 공급물을 다공성 기재에 의해 지지되는 미공성 흡착 물질을 주성분으로 하는 복합 반투과성 막(이 막은 공급물 사이드와 투과물 사이드로 구성됨)을 구비한 분리기로 통과시키고, 상기 분리기로 부터 수소가 풍부한 비투과물 생성 스트림을 회수하는 단계(이때, 상기 탄화 수소의 일부분은 상기 미공성 흡착물질에 의해 선택적으로 흡착되며 흡착된 유체 상태로 상기 막의 공급물 사이드로 부터 투과물 사이드로 확산되며, 또한, 상기 기체 혼합 공급물과 상기막의 접촉 및, 상기 막을 통한 성분들의 투과는 화학적 반응 없이 이루어진다);(b)상기 막의 투과물 사이드로 부터 상기 탄화 수소를 포함하는 투과물을 회수하는 단계; 및(c)소사 가스를 상기 막의 투과물 사이드에 통과시키고, 상기 분리기로 부터 소사 가스/투과물 유출 스트림을 회수하는 단계(이때, 상기 소사 가스는 상기 혼합 공급물중에 존재하는 동일한 1종 이상의 탄화 수소임).
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 공급물은 메탄,에탄,에탈렌,프로판,프로필렌,부탄,이소부탄,부틸렌,이소부틸렌 및 그 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로 부터 선택되는 1종 이상의 탄화 수소를 포함하는 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 소사 가스는 메탄,에탄,에틸렌,프로판,프로필렌,부탄,이소부탄,부틸렌,이소부틸렌 및 그 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로 부터 선택되는 1종 이상의 탄화 수소를 포함하는 방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 소사 가스는 메탄을 포함하는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 소사 가스는 천연 가스인 방법.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 소사 가스는 수소를 포함하는 방법.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 소사 가스는 메탄, 에탄, 에틸렌, 프로판, 프로필렌, 부탄, 이소부탄, 부틸렌, 이소부틸렌 및 그 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로 부터 선택되는 1종 이상의 탄화 수소를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 공급 혼합물의 압력은 20내지 30psig인 방법.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 소사 가스로 사용되는 상기 배기 스트림의 압력은 2내지 50psin인 방법.
