Abstract

탄소입자로 만든 몸체는 페놀 수지의 결합하는데 상기 수지 함유는 탄소화 수지의 총중량에 기초하여 약 5∼35중량% 정도이다. 몸체 제작 방법은 활성탄과 페놀 수지의 총중량에 기초한 %로 고체 페놀수지 약 5∼35%와 셀룰로오스 에테르, 셀룰로오스 에테르 유도체 및 그것의 조합물인 가소화된 유기 결합체 약 4∼10% 및 혼합물의 나머지는 활성탄 입자로 이루어진 수성 혼합물을 형성하고, 형성된 혼합물을 몸체로 성형시키고, 성형된 몸체를 건조시키는 공정이 포함된다.

Claims (10)

  1. a) 활성탄과 페놀 수지의 총 중량에 기초한 %로 고체 페놀 수지 약 5%∼35%와 셀룰로오스 에테르, 셀룰로오스 에테르 유도체들 및 그것의 조합물로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 가소화된 유기 결합제 약 4∼10% 및 혼합물의 나머지는 활성탄으로 이루어진 수성 혼합물을 형성하고; b) 상기 혼합물을 몸체로 형성하고; c) 성형된 몸체를 건조시키는 단계로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 페놀 수지 결합제를 갖는 탄화체의 제조방법
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 활성탄 입자 약 50%는 쿨터 카운터 기술에 의해 측정된 지름으로 약 5∼40㎛의 평균입자 크기를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화체의 제조방법
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 수지가 페놀 포름알데히드 수지인 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화체 제조방법
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 유기 결합제가 메틸셀룰로오스, 에틸하이드록시 에틸셀룰로오스, 하이드록시부틸셀룰로오스, 하이드록시부틸 메틸셀룰로오스, 하이드록시 에틸셀룰로오스, 하이드록시메틸셀루로오스, 하이드록시프로필셀룰로오스, 하이드록시프로필 메틸셀룰로오스, 하이드록시에틸 메틸셀룰로오스, 소듐 카르복시메틸셀룰로오스 및 그것의 혼합물로 구성된 군에서 선택된 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화체 제조방법
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 성형이 혼합물의 압출성형에 의해 이루어진 것 및/또는 상기 몸체가 벌집의 구조로 성형된 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화체 제조방법
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 건조공정이 ⅰ) 몸체의 습기를 잃지 않으며 약 90℃보다 높지 않은 제1온도까지 성형된 몸체의 온도를 높이고; ⅱ) 제1온도 동안, 상기 몸체가 중량의 약 45∼65%의 함습량을 가질 때까지 천천히 습기를 제거하고; ⅲ) 몸체가 제1온도 동안, 상기 몸체의 습기 제거비율을 증가시켜서 습도를 낮추어 초기 습기 함유량 중량의 20% 이상까지 몸체의 함습량을 떨어뜨리고; 및 ⅳ) 상기 몸체가 초기 습기 함유 중량의 약 10% 이하로 떨어지지 않는 함습량이 되도록 습기를 보존하는 동안 수지를 경화하기 위해 적어도 약 90℃의 제2온도에서 상기 몸체를 가열하는; 단계로 이루어진 공정에 의해 처리되는 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화체의 제조방법
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 단계(ⅰ)은 약 92-98%의 제1상대 습도와 약 60-90℃의 제1온도에서 습기가 조절된 분위기 안에 성형된 몸체를 놓고, 상기 몸체가 초기 상대습도 함습량을 잃지 않으며 상기 제1온도에 도달하기에 충분한 시간동안 상기 제1상대습도에 몸체를 남겨 놓도록 순행되고, 단계(ⅱ)는 초기 습기 함습량 중량의 약 45-65%의 함습량이 될 때까지 시간당 상기 몸체의 초기 습기 함유 중량의 약 0.5-1.5% 만큼의 습기량을 제거되도록 수행되고 단계(ⅲ)는 상기 대기의 상대 습도를 약 40-65%의 제2상대 습도로 낮추도록 수행되고; 및 단계(ⅳ)는 제2상대습도에서 약 90-98℃의 제2온도로 상기 몸체를 가열하도록 수행되는 단계로 이루어진 공정에 의해 처리되는 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화체의 제조방법
  8. 탄소와 수지의 총 중량에 기초하여 약 5-35%가 함유된 페놀수지와 함께 결합된 탄소입자로 구성된 몸체
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 활성탄 입자의 약 50%는 쿨터 카운터 기술에 의해 측정된 치수로 약 5-40㎛의 평균입자 크기를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 몸체
  10. 제8항 또는 제9항에 있어서, 벌집 구조를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 몸체
