Abstract

본 발명에 따른 액정표시소자는 서로 대향하는 한쌍의 기판, 상기 기판 사이에 삽입된 액정 충, 및 상기 기판중 하나 이상의 액정 충쪽에 형성된 배향 막을 포함하며, 이 때 상기 배향 막은 결정성의 분지된 중합체를 함유하며 구정 구조를 갖는다.

제5도는 본 발명에 따른 액정표시소자의 배향 막 내의 액정분자의 배향 상태를 도시한 도면.

Claims (6)

  1. 서로 대향하는 한쌍의 기판, 상기 기판 사이에 삽입된 액정 층 및 상기 기판중 하나 이상의 액정 층 쪽에 형성된 배향막을 포함하고 상기 배향막이 결정성의 분지된 중합체를 함유하며 구정 구조를 갖는 액정표시소자.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 배향 막이 결정성 선형 중합체를 추가로 함유하는 액정표시소자.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 배향 막이 결정성의 분지된 중합체의 반복단위 및 결정성 선형 중합체의 반복단위를 그 분자사슬 내에 갖는 결정성 공중합체를 함유하는 액정표시소자.
  4. 제2항에 잇어서, 배향 막에 함유된 결정성 선형 중합체 및 결정성의 분지된 중합체가 반복단위 내에 동일한 결합을 갖는 액정표시소자.
  5. 서로 대향하는 한쌍의 기판, 상기 기판 사이에 삽입된 액정 층, 및 상기 기판중 하나 이상의 액정 층 쪽에 형성된 배향 막을 포함하며, 이 때 상기 배향 막이 구정 구조를 갖는 결정성 중합체 막 층을 2개 이상 포함하는 액정표시소자.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 기판에 인접한 쪽의 결정성 중합체 막의 구정 직경(d1) 및 액정 층에 가장 인접한 쪽의 결정성 중합체 막의 구정 직경(d2)이 d1d2관계를 갖는 액정표시소자.
