Abstract

본 발명은 나프탈렌디카복실산 및 저분자량 알콜을 상류 반응대에 주입하면서, 승온에서 저분자량 알콜, 나프탈렌 디카복실산 및 나프탈렌디카복실산의 디알킬에스테르를 포함하는 액상 반응 혼합물을 직렬배열된 반응대(70,71,72,73)를 통해 통과시키고, 하나 이상의 반응대를 교반시키며, 나프탈렌 디카복실산과 저분자량 알콜과의 반응에 의해 생성된 나프탈렌 디카복실산의 디알킬에스테르를 포함하는 액체 생성 혼합물을 하류 반응대로부터 제거시킴을 포함하는 나프탈렌디카복실산의 디알킬에스테르의 연속 제조방법에 관한 것이다.

Claims (10)

  1. 나프탈렌디카복실산과 저분자량 알콜을 상류 반응대에 도입하면서, 저분자량 알콜, 나프탈렌디카복실산 및 나프탈렌디카복실산의 디알킬 에스테르를 포함하는 액상 반응 흔합물을 직렬배열된 반응대를 통해 승온에서 통과시키고, 하나 이상의 반응대를 교반하며, 나프탈렌디카복실산과 저분자량 알콜과의 반응에 의해 생성된 디알킬 에스테르를 포함하는 생성물을 하류 반응대로부터 제거함을 포함하는, 나프탈렌디카르복실산의 디알킬에스테르의 연속 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 저분자량 알콜이 메탄올이고, 나프탈렌디카복실산이 2,6-나프탈렌디카복실산이며, 생성된 디알킬에스테르가 디메틸-2,6-나프탈렌디카복실레이트인 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 직렬배열된 반응대에 첨가되는 대부분의 알콜이 반응대에서 기상에서 존재하는 방법.
  4. 하나 이상의 상부 구간과 하부 구간(여기서, 구간은 반응기 구간 사이에 에스테르화 반응 혼합물이 상향으로 유동되도록 하는 개구를 구비하는 분할수단에 의해 분리되고, 저분자량 알콜과 나프탈렌디카복실산은 하부 구간 또는 구간들에 첨가되며, 나프탈렌디카복실산의 디에스테르를 포함하는 반응 생성 혼합물은 상부 반응기 구간으로부터 제거된다)이 구비되어 있는 수직 배열된 구간식 반응기에서 액상의 에스테르화 반응 혼합물 중의 저분자량 알콜과 나프탈렌디카복실산을 승온에서 접촉시킴을 포함하는, 나프탈렌디카복실산의 디알킬 에스테르의 제조방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 구간식 반응기가 약 3 내지 약 8개의 구간으로 구성되는 방법.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 저분자량 알콜이 메탄올이고, 나프탈렌디카복실산이 2,6-나프탈렌디카복실산이며, 생성 혼합물이 디메틸-2,6-나프탈렌디카복실레이트를 포함하는 방법.
  7. 제4항에 있어서, 구간식 반응기에 첨가되는 알콜의 적어도 일부가 기체 알콜로서 구간식 반응기를 통과하는 방법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 구간식 반응기에 첨가되는 대부분의 알콜이 액상이고 나프탈렌디카복실산과 함께 슬러리 형태로 존재하는 방법.
  9. 제6항에 있어서, 구간식 반응기에 첨가되는 대부분의 메탄올이 기체 상태로 반응기를 통과하는 방법.
  10. 나프탈렌디카복실산과 저분자량 알콜을, 저분자량 알콜이 액상 및 기상으로 반응 혼합물에 존재하고 알콜을 반응대에 첨가하는 속도(lbs/hr)에 대한 알콜을 기상으로 반응대로부터 제거하는 속도(lbs/hr)의 비가 약 0.5 : 1 내지 약 0.99 : 1로 되도록 저분자량 알콜이 반응대에 첨가되는 동시에 이로부터 제거되는 반응조건하에서 나프탈렌디카르복실산의 액체 디알킬 에스테르, 나프탈렌디카복실산 및 저분자량 알콜을 포함하는 반응 혼합물중에서 적절한 반응대에서 접촉시킴을 포함하는, 나프탈렌디카복실산의 디에스테르의 제조방법.
