Abstract

카드(90)를 카드리더에 보유하기 위한 카드보호장치는 카드(90)의 측면엣지(94)과 연관된 가이트 암(20)에 피봇가능하게 장착된 캠(66)을 포함한다. 캠(66)은 가이드암(20)을 따라 미끄러짐가능하게 장착되는 푸시버튼(136) 근처옆에 있는 카드 수용 채널(30)의 입구(34)에 장착되며 제1캠부분(74)이 채널(30)의 안밖을 회전될 수 있게 되어있다. 제1캠부분(74)은 카드(90)가 리더에 완전히 삽입되고 제1부분(74)이 채널(30)내로 회전될때 카드(90)의 모서리(96)를 수용하고 확보할 수 있는 크기의 노치(76)를 갖는다. 제2캠부분(78)은 카드방출장치(50)에 의해 작동되는 작동기에 맞물리기에 적합한 것이다. 캠(66)은 카드(90)가 카드리더에 삽입될때 카드 맞물림위치로 피봇된다. 카드방출장치를 작동시키면 작동기는 카드(90)가 카드방출장치(90)가 카드방출장치(50)에 의해 채널(30)의 바깥쪽으로 밀려짐에 따라 카드 맞물림위치에서 카드 릴리즈위치로 피봇된다.

제2도는 카드보유장치가 로크된 위치에 있고 점선으로 표시된 카드가 홀더에 삽입되어 있는 것을 도시하는 제1도의 메모리카드 홀더의 사시도.
제3도는 보유장치가 개방된 위치에 있는 제1도의 카드홀더를 그 바닥면에서 본 사시도.

Claims (1)

  1. 카드를 카드리더에 보유시키고 또한 릴리즈시키기 위한 카드보호장치에 있어서, 카드의 대향 측면엣지들과 연관되어 있고 카드 수용채널을 형성하도록 서로 떨어져서 카드 리더에 장착되며 채널의 안쪽 단부를 횡단하는 전기 커넥터와 정력되어 있는 가이드 암을 구비하며, 가이드암을 채널의 안쪽 단부에 위치한 카드 방출장치의 카드 맞물림 표면 쪽으로 뻗쳐지며; 채널 입구 근처의 암 중의 하나에 피봇식으로 장착되며 그 제1부분이 카드 수용채널의 안밖으로 회전될 수 있는 캠을 구비하며, 캠은 카드가 리더내에 완전히 삽입되고 캠의 제1부분이 채널쪽으로 회전될 때 카드의 모서리를 수용하고 확보할 수 있는 크기의 노치를 그 제1부분에 가지며, 캠은 카드 삽입시 카드방출장치에 의해 작동되는 작동기에 의해 맞물리기에 적합한 제2부분을 더 가지며, 카드를 카드 수용 채널내에 완전히 삽입시킬 때 제2부분은 작동기에 맞물리고 캠은 카드의 모서리를 잡아주는 카드 맞물림위치로 피봇되며, 카드방출장치의 작동에 의해 카드 리더로부터 카드를 방출시킬 때 카드가 카드방출장치에 의해 채널의 바깥쪽으로 밀려짐에 따라 작동기는 캠이 카드 맞물림 위치에서 카드 리리즈 위치로 피봇되게 하는 카드보호장치.
