Abstract

본 발명은 보존기간이 긴 공프공과 이를 제조하는 방법에 관계한다. 코어주변에 수분차단을 제공하고 코어내로 수분의 침투를 막기 위해 수분차단층은 수증기 전달률이 낮다. 본 발명은 특히 투피스 그리고 다층고형 골프공에 이용하기에 용이하나 훤-피스 그리고 타래 골프공에도 이용할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 한다.

Claims (23)

  1. 골프공에 있어서, 코어주변에 적어도 30mil의 두께를 가지는 커버와 중앙코어로 구성되는 것에 있어서, 코어주변에 수분차단벽으로 구성되고, 수분차단벽은 커버보다 수분전달률이 낮은 것을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 수분차단벽은 커버와 코어 사이에 위치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 수분차단벽은 연속층으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 수분차단벽은 비닐리덴 클로라이드, 버미클라이트 그리고 수분차단벽 형성물질과 코어의 반응산물로 구성된 집단에서 선택된 물질로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 차단막 형성물질이 플로린으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  6. 제3항에 있어서, 연속층은 평균두께가 20mil 또는 2 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  7. 제3항에 있어서, 연속층은 평균두께가 10mil 또는 2 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 수분차단막은 90%RH, 100°F, ASTM D-96에서 수증기 전달률이 0.2g.mil/100in2.day 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 수분차단막은 비닐리덴 클로라이드로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  10. 골프공의 구성에 있어서, 중앙코어와 커버 그리고 코어주변의 수분차단막으로 구성되고 수반차단막은 100°F와 70% 상대습도에서 6주간 보관후에 COR 손실률이 약 5% 정도 감소되는 데 효과를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 수분차단막을 미닐리덴 클로라이드, 버미클라이트 그리고 차단형성물질과 코어의 반응산물로 구성된 집단에서 선택된 물질로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 차단형성물질이 플로린으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 골프공.
  13. 영구적 커버와내부를 포함하고 외부에는 수분차단막을 가지는 코어로 구성된 투피스 골프공을 만드는데 이용되고, 이 때 차단막은 20mil두께를 가지고, 커버보다는 수증기 전달률이 낮은 것을 특징으로 하는 골프공 코어.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, 외막 수분차단막은 연속막으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 코어.
  15. 제13항에 있어서, 외막 수분차단막은 비닐리덴 클로라이드, 버미클라이트, 차단형성물질과 내측의 반응산물로 구성된 집단에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 코어.
  16. 제14항에 있어서, 연속층의 두께는 10mil 이하인 것으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 코어.
  17. 제15항에 있어서, 차단형물질이 플로린으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 코어.
  18. 골프공 코어의 구성에 있어서, 외면이 있고 외면과 연결된 두께가 20mil이하인 수분차단막을 가지는 내측코어로 구성되고, 수분차단막은 90% RH, 100°F, ASTM D-96에서 수증기 전달률이 0.2g.mil/100in2.day이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 코어.
  19. 제18항에 있어서, 수분차단층은 비닐리덴 클로라이드, 플로린과 내측부분이 반응산물, 버미클라이트로 구성된 집단에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 코어.
  20. 수분에 투-피스 골프공이 노출될 경우 골프공의 복원력 상수의 손실을 감소시키는 방법에 있어서, 골프공에는 코어와 두께가 30mil인 커버로 구성되고, 이 방법은 골프공 코어의 주변에 코어내로 수분의 침투를 감소시키기 위한 수분차단막을 제공하는 단계로 구성되며, 수분차단막은 커버보다 물의 침투율이 낮은것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  21. 제20항에 있어서, 수분차단층은 코어와 커버 사이에 위치시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  22. 수분에 골프공이 노출될 경우 골프공의 COR 손실을 감소시키는 방법에 있어서, 코어주면에 수분차단막을 형성시키고, 이 막은 두께가 20mil 이하이며 90% RH, 100°F, ASTM D-96에서 수증기 전달률이 0.2g.mil/100 in2.day이하인 것으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  23. 코어가 있는 골프공을 만드는 방법에 있어서, 코어주변에 수분차단막을 제공하고, 수분차단막은 100°F, 70%RH에서 6주 보관후에 COR 손실이 적어도 5%감소되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
