Abstract

본 발명은 환자의 뇌에 생물학적 활성인자를 지속적으로 국소적 전달하기 위한 재충전가능한 면역분리성 신경학적 치료장치에 관한 것이다.
상기 장치에는, 분비성 세포를 주입하기에 적당하며 세포에 의해 분비된 생물학적 활성인자가 통과하여 뇌에 전달될 수 있는 하나이상의 반투성 또는 선택적 투과성 표면을 지닌 세포실(20)이 있다. 상기 장치에는 또한 세포실내로 분비성 세포를 주입하기 위한 수단(38), 및 세포 또는 세포 매개물을 재생시키기 위한 수단이 있다.

제1도는 본 발명의 복합 시스템을 구체화한 단일 취부판을 실제로 나타낸 것이다.
제2A도-제2D도는 본 발명을 실행하는 데 사용된 세포 캡슐화 매개체의 측면 입면도이다.
제3도는 본 발명의 센터보오드형 맨드렐 실시태양을 구체화한 매개체의 투시도이다.
제4A도는 본 발명의 접는식 맨드렐을 구체화한 매개체의 측부 단면도이고, 제4B도 및 제4C도는 각각 제4A도의 매개체의 상위 및 하단부의 단면도이다.

Claims (19)

  1. 세포에 의해 분비되는 활성인자가 통과하여 뇌로 전달될 수 있는 하나이상의 반투성 표면을 지닌 세포 주입용 세포실; 상기 세포실내에 세포를 주입시키는 수단; 및 세포실에 접근하기 위한 수단을 포함하는, 인체 뇌를 위한 재충전가능한 면역 분리성 치료장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 세포실이 U자형 튜브로서 제조되고, 세포를 주입하기 위한 수단 및 세포를 재생시키기 위한 수단은 상기 세포실을 충전, 분출 및 재충전시키기 위한 U자형 튜브와 연결된 구멍을 부가로 포함하는 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 세포실이 동심적 관강실이며, 상기 세포실을 충전, 분출 및 재충전시키기 위한 내강 및 외강과 연결된 구멍을 부가로 포함하는 장치.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 장치가 세포실을 보호하기 위한 구조적 지지체를 포함하는 장치.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 구조적 지지체가 세포실로부터 분리될 수 있도록 선택적으로 접합가능하게 되어있는 장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 구조적 지지체를 선택적으로 제거하기 위해 거의 강성의 외곽 보호체를 부가로 포함하는 장치.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 보호체가 탭부재를 포함하고, 구조적 지지체에는 탭부재를 최소한 부분적으로 수용하기에 적당한 홈이 있어 구조체 부재를 세포실로부터 연결된 상태로 제거할 수 있는 장치.
  8. 제3항에 있어서, 세포실을 보호하기 위해 구조적 보호체를 부가로 포함하는 장치.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 신경성 분비세포가 감마 아미노 부티르산, 세로토닌, 아세틸콜린, 노르에피네프린, 엔돌핀, 엔케팔린, 도파민, 및 전구물질, 아고니스트, 활성 유사물질, 및 이것의 활성 단면으로 이루어진 군중에서 선택된 생물학적 활성인자를 분비하는 세포를 포함하는 장치.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 신경성 분비세포가 L-도파를 비롯한 도파민 전구물질을 분비하는 장치.
  11. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 신경성 분비세포가 브로모크립틴을 비롯한 도파민 아고니스트를 분비하는 장치.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 세포실이 소수성 매트릭스를 부가로 포함하는 장치.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 상기 소수성 매트릭스가 에틸렌-비닐 아세테이트 공중합체를 포함하는 장치.
  14. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 세포실이 친수성 매트릭스를 포함하는 장치.
  15. 제14항에 있어서, 상기 친수성 매트릭스가 하이드로겔을 포함하는 장치.
  16. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 세포실이 일부 세포실을 덮는 불투명 외부 코팅을 부가로 포함하는 장치.
  17. 제16항에 있어서, 상기 불투성 외부코팅이 폴리우레탄을 포함하는 장치.
  18. 제16항에 있어서, 상기 불투성 외부코팅이 에틸렌-비닐 아세테이트를 포함하는 장치.
