Abstract

Claims (10)
- (a)알파 알루미나 메트릭스 ; 와 (b) 산화 프라세오디뮴, 산화 사마륨, 산화 유로퓸, 산화 홀뮴, 산화 란타늄, 산화 가돌리늄, 산화 디스프로슘, 산화 세륨, 산화 네오디뮴, 산화 에르븀, 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 희귀 토 산화물 및 산화 알루미늄과의 결정성 반응 생성물의 형태로, 세라믹 연마 입자의 총 중량을 기준으로 0.07중량% 이상의 산화 칼슘, 산화 스트론튬, 또는 이들의 조합체중 하나를 포함하되 ; 상기 결정성 반응 생성물은 상기 알파 알루미나 매트릭스내에 상(들)을 포함하며, 17GPa 이상의 평균 경도를 갖는 세라믹 연마 입자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 임의의 산화 칼슘 및 산화 스트롬튬이 상기 결정성 반응 생성물(들)의 형태로 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 세라믹 연마 입자.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹 연마 입자가 약 0.1 내지 약 2 중량%의 상기 산화 칼슘, 산화 스트론튬, 또는 이들의 조합체중 하나를 상기 결정성 반응 생성물(들)의 형태로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 세라믹 연마 입자.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 결정성 반응 생성물(들)이 SrLnAlO4, Sr1-xLnxAl12-xO19-x, Sr1-xLnxMxAl12-xO19, CaLnAlO4, Ca1-xLnxAl12-xO19-x, Ca1-xLnxMxAl12-xO19로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되며, 상기 식에서, Ln은 프라세오디뮴, 사마륨, 유로퓸, 홀뮴, 란타늄, 가돌리늄, 디스프로슘, 세륨, 네오디뮴, 에르븀, 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되고 ; M은 2가 금속 양이온(들)이고 ; Ca는 칼슘 ; Sr은 스트론튬 ; Al은 알루미늄 ; O는 산소이고 ; x의 범위는 1≥x≥0인 것을 특징으로 하는 세라믹 연마 입자.
