Abstract

Claims (29)
- 미립(fine particle)에서부터 조립(coarse particle)까지의 입자크기를 갖고 있고, 평균 입자크기가 40㎛이하인 특정 공칭 등급의 연마입자에 있어서. 이특정 공칭등급의 연마 입자중 일부 이상이 외측 표면, 외부영역 및 내부영역을 갖는 다수의 소결된 결정질 세라믹 알파-알루미나계연마 입자이고, 상기 외부 영역은 상기 외측 표면에인접해잇고, 상기 소결된 결정질의 세라믹 알파 알루미나계 연마 입자가(a) 알파 알루미나 미소결정: 및 (b) 이 알파 알루미나 미소결정사이에 분포된 알루미네이트 소한을 함유하며, 상기 외부 영역은 내부 영역에 있는 소판보다 크기가 평균적으로 보다 큰 소판을 함유하는 특정 공칭 등급의 연마 입자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 소판이 마그네토플럼바이트 소판이고, 이 마그네토플럼바이트는 하기 일반식으로 표기되는 것인 특정 공칭 등급의 연마 입자; LnMAl11O19이 식중에서, Ln은 La3+, Nd3+, Ce3+, Pr3+, Sm3+, Gd3+, 및 Eu3+로 구성된 군중에서 선택되는 란탄족 회토류이고; M은 Ng2+, Mn2+, Zn2+., Ni2+.또는 Co2+로 구성된 군중에서 선택되는 이가 금속 양이온이다.

- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 특정 공칭 등급의 연마 입자가 약 1 내기 약 25㎛범위의 입자크기를 갖는 특정 공칭 등급의 연마 입자.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 특정 공칭 등급의 연마 입자가 25㎛이하의 입자 크기를 갖는 특정공칭 등급의 연마 입자.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 특정 공칭 등급의 연마 입자가 20㎛이하의 입자 크기를 갖는 특정공칭 등급의 연마 입자.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 특정 공칭 등급의 연마 입자가 15㎛이하의 입자 크기를 갖는 특정공칭 등급의 연마 입자.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 소결된 다결정질 세라믹 알파 알루미나계 연마입자가 산화 철, 산화 마그네슘, 산화 망간, 산화 안연, 산화 세륨, 산화 코발트, 산화 티탄, 산화 니켈, 산화 이트륨, 산화 프라세오다이뮴, 산화 사마리움, 산화 이터븀, 산화 네오다이뮴, 산화 란탄 산화 가돌리늄, 산화 다이스프로슘, 산화 에르븀, 산화 유로퓸, 이산화 규소, 산화 크롬, 산화 칼슘, 산화 스트론튬, 산화 지르코늄, 산화 하프늄, 및 이의 배합물로 구성된 군중에서 선택되는 산화물을 포함하는 특정의 공칭 등급의 연마 입자.
- 제2항에 있어서, 연마입자가 코어 및 그 위에 피복된 금속 산화물의 표면 피복물을 함유하고, 상기 코어는 상기 소결된 다결정질 세라믹 알파 알루미나계 연마입자인 특정 공칭 등급의 연마 입자.
- (a) 결합제: 및 (b) 이 결합제에 의해 연마 물품중에 고착된 제2항에 따른 특정 공칭 등급의 연마입자를 함유 하는 연마 물품.

- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 연마 입자의 15중량% 이상이 알파 알루미나계 연마입자인 특정 공칭등급의 연마입자.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 연마 입자의 30중량% 이상이 알파 알루미나계 연마입자인 특정 공칭등급의 연마입자.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 연마 입자의 50중량% 이상이 알파 알루미나계 연마입자인 특정 공칭등급의 연마입자.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 연마 입자의 75중량% 이상이 알파 알루미나계 연마입자인 특정 공칭등급의 연마입자.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 소결된 다결정질 세라믹 알파 알루미나계 연마입자로 본질적으로 구성된 특정공칭 등급의 연마입자.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 알파 알루미나계 연마 입자이외의 다른 연마입자를 추가로 포함하고, 이 다른 연마 입자의 평균입자 크기가 상기 알파 알루미나계 염나입자의 평균입자 크기보다 적은 특정공칭 등급의 연마 입자.
- 제2항에 있어서, 평균입자 크기가 30㎛이하인 특정 공칭 등급의 연마입자.
- (a) 결합제: 및 (b) 이결합제에 의해 연마 물품중에 고착된 제22항에 따른 특정공칭 등급의 연마입자를 함유하는 연마 물품.
