본 발명은 내측면 및 외측면을 갖고 적어도 내측면상에는 하나의 용접가능한 플라스틱층을 갖는 다층박판의 중복되는 단부를 접합하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 일단부의 내측면은 타단부의 외측면에 압착되고 상기 두단부른 열에 의해 압접된다. 본 발명은 또한 이 방법에 의해 제조되는 관상체(管狀體)에 관한 것이다.
다층박판의 층들은 서로 다른 임무를 갖고 있다. 예를들면 박판이 포장재로서 사용된다면, 포장될 제품과 직면하는 층은 이 제품에 대하여 화학적으로 중성이어야 한다. 적어도 하나의 중간층은 특히 박판이 포장용기용으로 사용될때 원하는 강도 및 원하는 탄성을 제공하는 기능을 한다. 외층은 인쇄될 수 있고 시각적으로 물리적으로 만족을 줄 수 있어야 한다.
산란제품의 경우에 중간층들의 한층은 산란-방지장벽으로 재구성될 필요가 있다. 예를들면, 중간층들의 한층이 금속층이라면, 그 금속층의 양측상의 접착층은 대개 다른층들과 신뢰할 수 잇는 접착이 이루어지는 것을 필요로 한다. 외층들의 최소한 한층은 용접가능 또는 밀봉접합 가능 플라스틱으로, 제조될 포장은 밀봉접합될 수 있다.
튜브 포장용 관상체는 대개 다층박판의 중복되는 단부들이 서로 밀봉접합되는 길이방향 시임을 갖고 있다.
일단부에 인접한 안측면은 대개 타단부에 인접한 외측면에 밀봉 접합된다. 이런 시임은 완전한 밀폐를 형성할 수 없고 이는 제품과 직면하는 내층은 박판의 다층구조 때문에 시임을 따라서 중단되는 단점을 가진다. 이 때문에 포장된 제품은 시임 근처에서 화학적으로 중성인층 뿐만 아니라 다른층과도 접촉하게 될 위험이 있다.
따라서 본 발명의 목적은 포장된 제품과 박판의 다른층과의 접촉이 방지되는 전술한 형태의 개량된 방법을 제공하는 것이다. 이 목적은 이하에 기술된 본 발명에 따라서 달성된다. 복발명에 따른 방법으로 포장될 제품과 직면하는 내측단부의 내층은 이 단부의 다른층보다 훨씬 돌출되므로 그 내측단부의 다른 중간층들을 덮고 용접에 의해 외측단부의 내층과 접합될 수 있다. 이는 제품과 직면하는 측의 시임이 내층에 의해서 완전히 덮혀지는 것을 보장한다. 특히 고도의 청결함을 필요로 할 때 본 발명에 대한 방법은 제품이 중간층들의 어떤 층과도 바람직하지 않은 또는 심지어 허용할 수 없을 정도의 접촉을 효과적으로 방지하므로 본발명에 따라 제조된 접합재는 특정용기라이닝, 또는 이중포장을 미리 필요로 하는 포장제품용으로 적당한다.
본 발명의 바람직한 특징에서, 다층박판의 접합은 두 단부의 증복되는 면들 및 연속 내층을 통하여 실행된다. 이런 종류의 접합은 확실한 밀봉접합 뿐만 아니라 기계적으로 특별히 튼튼하다.
본 발명의 다른 바람직한 특징은 단부가 서로 압착되기 전에 타단부의 외면이 경사지게 절단된다. 그러나 적어도 가장 안쪽의 층이 다른층보다 더 돌출되도록 개개의 층이 계단형 또는 홈형의 단부를 갖는 박판이 처음부터 제조될 수도 있다.
본 발명은 또한 단부가 절단되는 바람직한 각도를 제공한다.
본 발명의 다른 특징은 임의로 제어가능하고 서로 용접될 층을 신속히 가열하는 용접열이 박판내부에 삽입된 금속층에서 발생되는 점이다. 이는 다른 부분의 바람직하지 않은 가열을 피할 수 있고 따라서 산출량을 증가시키기 위해서 다음의 냉각공정을 짧게 할 수 있다.
본 발명의 다른 특징은 용접연결은 예를들면 회전하는 강철밸트일 수 있는 공구들의 한 공구의 길이방향 홈내에서 발생한다. 공구로서 기능을 하는 이 강철밸트는 용접공정이 가속화되고 특히 양단부들의 내층들이 서로 접합되도록 에열될 수 있다.
또한 본 발명은 전술된 방법에 따라 제조된 시임을 갖는 포장튜브용 관형 라이너의 제조에 관한 것이다.
본 발명에서 포장튜브는 심지어 가령 알루미늄과 같은 금 속의 존재에 대해 공격적으로 반응하는 제품용으로 다양한 종류의 라미네이트로 구성될 수 있다. 본 발명에 따른 방법은 종래의 방법과 비교하여 포자튜브용 관상체의 제조에 대한 추가비용을 사실상 필요로 하지 않는다.
관상체 제조용으로 바람직한 재료들이 또한 기술되었다.
제 1 도는 예를들면 포장튜브용으로 제조될 관형시임용의 다층박판의 두 중복되는 단부를 도시한다. 두 박판단부들은 내측면(10) 및 외측면(12)을 가지고 있다. 내측면(10)은 포장될 제품쪽으로 향한다. 도시된 배열에서, 일단부(14)의 내측면(10)은 타단부(16)의 외측면(12)상에 놓여진다. 외측단부(14)의 절단면(18)은 수직으로 절단된다. 내측단부의 절단면(20)은 경사지게 절단되어 서로 압착될 표면(10,12)에서 멀리 떨어져 위치하는 층(6)은 이 단부의 다른층들보다 더 돌출되었다. 경사절단면(20)은 횡방향에 대해40℃의 바람직한 각을 갖는다. 제 1 도는 50 : 1로 확대되었다.
제 2 도는 각층에 대한 기술을 용이하게 하기 위해 외측단부(14)를 100 : 1로 확대하였다. 외층(1)은 에를들면 폴리에틸렌, 포리프로필렌 또는 이들 재료의 다중합체와 같은 열가소성 플라스틱으로 구성된다. 제 2 층(2)은 박판에 필요한 강성을 주기 위해 종이로 구성되어 있다 제 3 층은 알루미늄인 제 4 층(4)과 확실한 접합을 제공하기 위한 플라스틱 접착층이다. 알루미늄층(4)은 특히 정해진 탄성을 갖도록 기능을 하고 또한 산란장벽으로서 지능을 갖도록 할 수도 있다. 알루미늄층(4)과 내층(6) 사이에 확실한 접합이 제공되도록 알루미늄층(4)의 다른면에 다른 플라스틱접착층(5)이 배치된다. 내층(6)은 용접가능한 외층(1)과 같은 열가소성 플라스틱재이다.
그러나, 상기 내층은 특성에 관하여는 외층(1)과 다를 수 있다. 예를들면, 내층(6)은 투명재인 반면 인쇄될 외층(1)은 바람직하게 채색된다.
제 3 도는 공구로서 기능을 하는 두 밸트(22,26) 사이에서의 제 1 도의 중복된 층을 도시한다. 내측밸트(22)는 압접시 중복되는 단부(14,16)가 외측밸트(26)에 의해서 압착되는 길아방향홈(24)을 갖는 강철밸트이다. 밸트(22,26)는 도시않된 수단에 의해 회전하도록 구동되므로 두 박판단부(14,16)의 접합은 끊임없이 계속적으로 수행된다.
용접열은 고주파에 의하여 두 중복된 알루미늄층(4, 제 2 도에 도시)내에서 발생된다. 이 과정을 보강하기 위해 내측밸트(22)는 미리 예열된다. 두 단부의 직접가열된 알루미늄층(4)은 열을 인접한 플라스틱층 특히 두 접착층(3, 5) 및 내측층을 형성하고 대향하는 단부의 내부층에 용접될 가열소성 프라스틱층(6)에 전달한다. 절연재로서 기능을 하는 중간 종이층 때문에 비교적 미량의 열이 가열된 알루미늄층(4)에 의해 외측플라스틱층(1)으로 전달된다.
두 단부(14,16)의 내측 플라스틱층(6)의 더욱 강력한 가열 때문에 밀접히 용접된 연결부가 제조되고, 경사지게 절단된 절단면(20) 때문에 내측단부(16)의 플라스틱층(6)은 넘쳐흐르게 된다. 또한 경사진 절단면(20)과 함께 플라스틱층(6)의 증가량은 처리용으로 이용되도록 된다. 두 밸트(22,24) 사이의 홈에 가해지는 압착력에 의해 두 단부(14,16)의 플라스틱층(6) 사이에 실질적으로 시임레스 변환이 이루어진다.
제 4 도에 완성된 연결부의 단면이 도시되었다. 도시된 바와같이, 경사절단면(20)의 인접부에서 내측단부(16)의 열가소성 플라스틱층(1) 및 그와 접합된 두 접착층(3, 5, 제 2 도)는 압착되어 꼬리형상부(28)로 된다. 이 꼬리형상부(28)은 내측 플라스틱층(6)을 돌출시키지만 이는 두 단부(14,16)로부터 함께 접합된 플라스틱층(6)의 어떤 중단도 의미하지 않는다.
두 단부(14,16)의 외측 플라스틱층(1)은 특히 강철밸트가 바람직한 외측밸트(26)에 의해 외측단부(14)의 층(1)에 가해진 압력 때문에 서로 연속된 층을 형성하면서 이어진다. 외측단부(14)의 절단면(18)에서, 접착층(3,5)의 꼬리형상부(30)는 압착되어 이층의 중단없이 이층(1)으로 비집고 들어간다.
Claims (13)
- 내측면 및 외측면, 절단부를 갖는 각 단부 및 용접가능한 플라스틱층을 갖는 상기 내측면을 갖는 다층박판의 두 중복되는 단부들을 접합하기 위하여 일측단부의 내측면을 타측단부의 외측면에 대하여 압착하고 압착하는 동안 열을 가하는 것에 의해 상기 면들을 밀봉접합하는 단계로 구성된 다층박판의 두 중복되는 단부들을 접합하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 압착단계 전에 상기 플라스틱층이 박판의 다른 층보다 더 돌출되도록 상기 타측단부의 상기 절단면을 따라 타측단부를 절단하는 단계로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 다층박판의 두 중복되는 단부들을 접합하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 일단부의 내측면과 타단부의 외측면 사이에 실질적으로 평탄한 밀봉접합면이 형성되고 내측면상에 배치된 두 단부의 플라스틱층들은 밀봉접합된 시임으로 규정되는 연속된 층으로 서로 밀봉접합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 다층박판의 두 중복되는 단부들을 접합하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 횡방향에 대해서 경사진 각에서 상기 타단부의 절단되는 것을 특징으로 하는 다층박판의 두 중복되는 단부들을 접합하는 방법.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기각은 약 40℃인 것을 특징으로 하는 다층박판의 두 중복되는 단부들을 접합하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 금속층 및 상기 금속층을 밀봉접합가능한 플라스틱층에 접합하는 적어도 하나의 플라스틱 접착층을 갖는 박판을 사용하여 상기 금속층내에 유도적으로 열을 발생시키는 것에 의하여 열이 가해지므로서 가열된 금속층에서 열이 인접한 비금속층으로 전달되는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다층박판의 두 중복되는 단부들을 접합하는 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 금속층 및 상기 금속층을 밀봉접합 가능한 플라스틱층에 접합하는 적어도 하나의 플라스틱 접착층을 갖는 박판을 사용하여 상기 금속층내에 유도적으로 열을 발생시키는 것에 의하여 열이 가해지므로서 가열된 금속층에서 열이 인접한 비금속층으로 전달되는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다층박판의 두 중복되는 단부들을 접합하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 압착단계는 두 공구중 한 공구는 상기 내측면에 대해서 배치되고 밀봉접합시 중복되는 단부를 도입하기 위하여 길이방향 홈을 갖는 상기 두 공구사이에서 중복되는 단부들을 압착하는 것을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다층박판의 두 중복되는 단부들을 접합하는 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 압착단계는 두 공구중 한 공구는 상기 내측면에 대해서 배치되고 밀봉접합시 중복되는 단부들을 도입하기 위하여 길이방향 홈을 갖는 상기 두 공구 사이에서 중복되는 단부들을 압착하는 것을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다층박판의 두 중복되는 단부들을 접합하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 한 공구를 예열하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다층박판의 두 중복되는 단부들을 접합하는 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 한 공구를 예열하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다층박판의 두 중복되는 단부들을 접합하는 방법.
- 외측면 및 내측면, 절단면을 갖는 각 단부 및 상기 내측면상에 용접가능한 플라스틱층을 갖는 다층박판, 일단부의 내측면을 타단부의 외측면에 압착하고 압착중 열을 가하므로서 상기 면들을 따라 밀봉 접합시키는 것에 의해 성형된 상기 라이너, 상기 플라스틱층이 박판의 다른층보다 더 돌출되도록 상기 타단부의 상기 절단면을 따라 경사각으로 절단된 상기 타단부를 갖는 다층박판의 두 중복된 단부를 포함하는 시임을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 관상체.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 일단부의 내측면과 타단부의 외측면 사이에 실질적으로 평탄한 밀봉접합면이 형성되고 내측면상에 배치된 두 단부의 플라스틱층들은 상기 시임으로 규정되는 연속된 층으로 서로 밀봉접합된 것을 특징으로 하는 관상체.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 플라스틱층은 폴리에틸렌, 폴리프로필렌 및 그들의 다중합체로 구성된 그룹에서 선정된 열가소성제인 것을 특징으로 하는 관상체.
