Abstract

多层薄片待连接的两边缘中,内边缘在加压粘合前在纵向上倾斜切断,使离压合表面远的层次伸到其他各层以外。如焊接过程中用两元件工具焊接两层,则内边的内层外溢,和外边的内层形成不间断层。用薄片作包装材料,尤其作包装管的管形里衬时,包装物品仅和内层接层,可避免和其他层有不利的反应。

Description

本发明涉及一种搭接多层薄片边缘的方法,薄片有一个内侧和一个外侧,至少在内侧上有一层可焊接的塑料。将一个边缘的内侧压在另一边缘的外侧上,两边缘用热作用焊接。本发明还涉及用此方法制造的管形体。
多层薄片的叠层有不同的功用,例如用作包装材料。朝向待包装物品的一层,必对该物品有中性的化学反应。至少有一个中间层用于提供要求的强度和要求的弹性,尤其将薄片用作包装容器时。外层上必须能印刷,有外观和质地动人的表面。假如是扩散性的物品,可能还需要将一个中间层加强(reinitialize),成为一个扩散抑制层。例如,如果一个中间层是金属,则典型要求在金属的两侧上有一个粘合剂层,保证和其他层有可靠的粘接。至少一个外层用可焊接或可密封的塑料,从而可将制成的包装封闭。
一种用于包装管的管体典型有一条纵向接缝,在接缝上将多层薄片的搭接边缘密封连接。
在典型中将与一条边缘接近的内表面,和接近另一边缘的外表面密封。这种接缝虽能形成紧密的闭合,但是因薄片是多层结构,使朝向物品的内层有沿接缝间断的缺点。这样包装物品便有可能在接缝的附近,不仅接触中性化学反应层,而且可能还接触其他层。
本发明的目的,是提出一种上述类型的改进方法,防止包装物品和薄片的其他层接触。本发明本目的的取得如下所述。用本发明的方法,朝向包装物品的内缘的内层,突在这边缘的其他层的外面,从而内层覆盖和其他层的交界处,可用焊接作业和外边缘的内层连接。这样可保证朝向物品一侧上的接缝,完全由内层覆盖。尤其在要求高洁净度时,这方法可有效防止物品和任一中间层有不利的,甚或不可允许的接触,因此本发明方法产生的粘接,还适用于包装过去包装时必须用特殊的容器内衬,或用双层争包装的物品。
发明的一个优点,是多层薄片的连接,通过两边缘的搭接表面和连续的内层实现。这种粘合不仅能紧密密封,而且机械性特别坚固。
发明的另一优点,在将边缘压在一起前,先将另一边缘的外缘倾斜切断。但是,也可以在薄片的原始生产中,使各层的边缘形成阶梯状或凹入,从而至少最里层伸过其他各层。
本发明还为切断边缘的角度提出了理想的尺寸。
本发明的又一个优点,是焊接热在夹在薄片内部的金属层上产生,使将焊接在一起的层上有按目的控制的迅速加热。这样还可能避免其他地点上的不利加热,因此保证提高产量输出的冷却作业可以缩短。
本发明的另一个优点,是焊接在一个工具的纵向槽中进行,例如用一条旋转钢带作工具。这作工具用的钢带可预热以加速焊接作业,尤其能保证两边缘的内层互相融合。
本发明还和生产包装管用的管形里衬有关,管接缝按上述方法制造。用这发明包装管可用各种类型的叠层材料制造,甚至用于对诸如铝等金属有腐蚀性的物品。本发明的方法和传统方法比较,包装管用的管形件生产中,几乎不增高成本。
本发明还揭示了制造管形件的理想材料。

图1示多层薄片两搭接边缘,举例而言,产生包装管的管接缝。薄片的两边缘有内侧10和外侧12。内侧10朝向包装物品。在图示的安排中,将一个边缘14的内侧10放在另一边缘16的外侧12上。外边缘14的切边18垂直切断。内边缘的切边20倾斜切断,从而层6位置远离待压在一起的表面10,12,突出到这边缘其他各层的外面。切边20的理想斜度是与横向倾斜40°。图1的比例为50∶1。
为便于叙述各层,图2示比例为100∶1的外缘14。外层1有一个热塑塑料,例如聚乙烯,聚丙烯,或二者的共聚物。第二层2有纸,给予薄片要求的硬度或刚度。第三层3是一个塑料粘合剂层,形成和铝质第四层的可靠粘合。铝层4具体用于取得所述的弹性,也可随意愿将其作为防扩散层。在铝层4的另一侧,为另一塑料粘合剂层5,形成铝层4和内层6之间的可靠粘接。内层6也是一个热塑塑料层,和外层1相似可以焊接。但在特性上,内层可与外层1不同。例如内层6可以是透明,而外层1用于印刷,最好是彩色的。
图3示图1中的用作工具的两条带22及26之间的搭接层。内带22是钢带,上有纵向槽24,在焊接作业中,将搭接边缘14及16用对面的带26来压入槽24中。带22及26用图中未示的装置驱动旋转,从而两薄片边缘14及16的连接最好是无端的和连续的。
焊接热利用高频,在两个搭接的铝层4(见图2)中发生。为加强这过程,内带22被补充预热。直接加热的两边缘的铝层4,向邻接的塑料层散热,特别是对两粘合剂层3及5加热,又进一步对热塑塑料层6加热,塑料层6形成内层,以备和相对边缘的内层焊接。因为插在中间的纸层2起绝热作用,加热铝层4向外塑料层1传递的热比较少。由于两边缘14及16的内塑料层6上有较强的加热,所以产生紧密的焊接,又因为有斜切边20,使内缘16的塑料层6溢流。有斜切边20后,塑料层6的材料增多,可供加工使用。利用两条带22及26向槽24中的加压力,形成两边缘14及16之间的塑料层6之间几乎无接缝过渡。
图4中示完成接头的剖视。如图所示,在斜切边20的附近,内缘16的热塑塑料层1,和与之连接的两个粘合剂层3及5(见图2)被挤出成为突片形部分28。虽然这突片形部分28伸进内塑料层6,但并不表示会干扰同时从两边缘14及16中流出的塑料层6。
两边缘14及16的外塑料层1还共同流出形成一个连续层,尤其因为外带26在外边缘14的层1上加压,带1最好也用钢带。在外缘14的切边18上,有粘合剂层3及5的突缘形部分30挤出(见图2),挤进层1而不干扰这层。

Claims (13)

1、将有一个内侧和一个外侧的多层薄片的两个搭接边缘连接的方法,每一边缘有一个外缘,该薄片在内侧上有一个可焊接的塑料层,方法中包括步骤,将一个边缘的内侧,压在另一边缘的外侧上,加热加压,将该两表面密封,改进之处在于作该加压前,沿该另一边缘的该外缘,切断该另一边缘,从而该塑料层伸到薄片的其他层以外。
2、如权利要求1中之方法,而特征为在一个边缘的内侧和另一边缘的外侧之间,有一个基本平面的密封接头,位于内侧上的两边缘的塑料层,共同粘接形成作为密封接缝的一个连续层。
3、如权利要求1中之方法,而特征为另一边缘的该切断,和横向倾斜成一个角度。
4、如权利要求3中之方法,而特征为该角度约为40°。
5、如权利要求1中之方法,而步骤中包括用有一个金属层的薄片,至少有一个塑料粘合剂层将金属层和可密封塑料层连接,特征为加热方法是在金属层中感应生热,从而将这样加热的金属层里的热,向邻近的非金属层传递。
6、如权利要求2中之方法,而步骤中包括用有一个金属层的薄片,至少有一个塑料粘合剂层将金属层和可密封塑料层连接,特征为加热方法是在金属层中感应生热,从而将这样加热的金属层里的热,向邻近的非金属层传递。
7、如权利要求1中之方法,而特征为加压步骤中包括将搭接边缘放在两个工具中加压,一个工具贴在该内侧上,工具上有一条纵向槽,在密封过程中容纳搭接边缘。
8、如权利要求2中之方法,而特征为加压步骤中包括将搭接边缘放在两个工具中加压,一个工具贴在该内侧上,工具上有一条纵向槽,在密封过程中容纳搭接边缘。
9、如权利要求1中之方法,而有步骤对该一个工具预加热。
10、如权利要求2中之方法,而有步骤对该一个工具预加热。
11、一个管形体有多层薄片两个搭接边缘的接缝,薄片有一个内侧和一个外侧,每一边缘有一外缘,该薄片的该内侧有一个可焊接塑料层,该里衬的形成,是将一个边缘的内表面,压在另一边缘的外表面上,同时加热并加压,沿该表面密封,沿该另一边缘的该外缘以一倾斜角度切断,从而该塑料层伸列薄片的其他层以外。
12、如权利要求11中之管形体,而特征为在一个边缘的内侧和另一边缘的外侧间,产生一个基本平面的密封粘接,而特征为两个边缘的塑料层内侧粘合,形成该接缝的连贯层。
13、如权利要求11中之管形体,而特征为该塑料层是从一组包括聚乙烯,聚丙烯和二者共聚物中选用的热塑塑料层。
