Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は背シール部を有する袋の製造方法特に該シール
部を形成する方法に関するものである。
従来合成樹脂、金属箔、紙などの基材の表面及び裏面に
ヒートシール性を有する熱可塑性樹脂層を形成し複層な
いし多層構造としたフィルム又はシート状物を用いその
両側を重ねて封筒貼り方式に貼り合わせ（ヒートシール
）袋状として、内部に粉末状、液状、ペースト状等の食
品類その他各種の充填物を封入し回分式使い捨て包装体
とすることはよく知られている。この場合背シール部分
は表裏の貼り合せとなり袋内部にある切断面が充填物に
直接接触することになる。
第１図はその一例を、拡大断面図で示したもので、切断
端面５（以下端緑という）が直接内容物に接触する。
したがって実際にはこの積層断面を通して内容物は吸湿
したり、酸化劣化されたりすることが多い。また基材１
と、表面及び裏面のコート材２，３との接着に用いられ
た接着剤やアンカーコート剤中に含まれた有害物や毒性
物がこの端緑５から内容物に浸入し汚染することになり
弊害をもたらしている。本発明はこのような従来の欠点
を除去した袋の製造法を提供するものである。
以下図面により本発明の具体的実施例を示して説明する
。
第２図は三層構造のフィルムにより袋を形成した場合の
拡大断面図で、１はフィルム基材で例えばポリエステル
フィルムその他適宜の合成樹脂或は金属箔又は紙などが
用いられ、２，３はその表面及び裏面に被覆された熱可
塑性（ヒートシール性）の合成樹旨で例えばポリエチレ
ン、ポリプロピレン等があげられる。
４は該フィルムの両側緑部を適宜の幅に重ね合せてヒー
トシールされた背シール部でここで表面の熱可塑性樹脂
層２と裏面の熱可塑性樹脂層３が熱融着している。
５は背シール部の内側端縁（切断面）で、これは一方の
重なり部の裏面すなわち内側の熱可塑性合成樹脂層２３
により形成された立上り部６に密着被包されている。
該立上り部６と袋本体の内側の合成樹脂層３は一体的に
融合し、端緑５は完全に該合成樹脂層３内に埋込まれて
いるものであり、本発明の特徴をなすものである。次に
本発明のシール方法について説明すると第３図はシール
部及び熱板の断面を拡大して示すもので、７は熱坂本体
である。
この熱板７は一側に押圧により背シール部４を形成せし
める平面部１０を有し、その一端には凸条９及びこれと
若干間隔をおいて平行に凸条８が設けられている。
凸条９の高さはほぼフィルムの厚さに等しい程度とし、
凸条８の高さはそれよりや）高い程度のものとする。な
お凸条９は平面部１０側に向って斜面を形成することが
好ましい。このような熱板を用いて背シール部をシール
するには、まず背シール部を重ね合わせたフィルムを合
板１１上に置き、次に前記熱板の凸条９をほぼ内側の端
緑５の上方に位置せしめて配置し合板１１に向って押圧
すればよい。本発明においては熱板が上記の如く構成さ
れているので、熱板がフィルムに近ず〈と第３図のよう
に先ず高い凸条８がフィルム表面に接し、更に降下する
と、凸条８とこれより高さの低い凸条９に間隔があらる
ので熱可塑性樹脂は、この間隔部分を背シールの内側端
緑５に向って押し進めて寄せられる。更に下降すると内
側端緑５の近傍に寄せられた熱可塑性樹脂は、凸条９の
傾斜面で額め方向に該内側端緑５に向って圧縮され、立
上り部６を形成しながら端緑５を確実に埋込んだ状態で
融着被包する。引き続いて平面部１０はフィルム面に接
触し、更に圧縮して第４図の状態に至る。以上の作用は
分解的に説明したが実際には極めて短時間にほとんど同
時に行われる。このような熱板によってヒートシールす
ることによりはじめて、前述のような内側の端緑５が確
実に熱可塑性樹脂層３内に埋め込まれた背シール部を得
ることができるものであって、通常の熱板又は単なる段
部を設けた熱板では熱可塑性樹脂の逃げ場がないので、
内側端緑を確実に埋込んだ状態で被包した立上り部は形
成できず、目的は達成できない。
このようにして背シール部を形成したチューフ状のフィ
ルムは公知の手段によって所望の長さに切断し底部及び
口部をシールして通常の如く包装体として使用すればよ
い。
本発明は以上のように構成されているので、切断端緑が
完全に被覆樹脂によって被包され内容物と接触すること
なく、しかも背シール部内側は平面をなし、安全に使用
することができ、かつ包装袋としての機能を充分に発揮
することができる。
またその製法も特別の装置を要せず極めて簡単であり、
背シール部の強度も高いのでその効果は頗る大きい。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １ 基材１の両面に熱可塑性樹脂層２，３を被覆してな
    るフイルムを用い封筒貼り方式の背シール部を有する袋
    の製造において、背シール部４を接着するに当り、背シ
    ール部４の重なり幅に相当する平面部１０、その一側に
    ほぼフイルムの厚さに相当する高さの凸条９及び該凸条
    ９と若干間隔をおいてこれよりやゝ高い高さを有する凸
    条８を具備した熱板７を用い、背シール部の内側端縁５
    の上方に前記熱板の凸条９を位置させしめて平板１１上
    で押圧加熱して背シール部４の内側端縁５を熱可塑性合
    成樹脂層３内に埋込むと共に該樹脂層により被包せしめ
    、同時に背シール部４を熱接着せしめることを特徴とす
    る背シール部を有する袋の製造方法。
