Abstract

정지검출부는 신호처리부에서의 바코드의 디지탈영상(화상)정보중 동일장소(라인)의 시간간격을 둔 2라인의 데이터를 비교·판단함에 의해서 움직임을 검출하고, 움직임이 없을 때에 디코드 스타트 트리거신호를 디코더부로 출력한다. 디코더부의 CPU는 상기 디코드 스타트 트리거신호가 입력되었을 때에, 바코드가 적정 위치에 정지한 것으로 판단하고, 이때 프레임 메모리에 격납되어 있는 바코드의 화상정보를 독출하여 디코드처리를 한다.

제1A도는 본 발명의 바코드 판독장치의 제1실시예의 블록 구성도. 제1B도는 제1A도에 있어서의 정지검지부의 상세한 구성을 나타내는 도면. 제2A도는~제2C도는 각각 바코드의 정지검지를 하기 위해서 이용되는 영상라인을 나타내는 도면. 제3도는 제1B도에 있어서의 카운터부의 상세한 구성을 나타내는 도면.

Claims (14)

  1. 바와 스페이스로 이루어진 바코드를 촬상하는 촬상수단; 상기 촬상수단에 의하여 촬상된 영상의 움직임을 검출하는 검출수단;과 상기 검출수단의 검출신호에 의거하여, 상기 촬상수단에 의하여 촬상된 바코드 영상의 디코드처리의 개시를 제어하는 제어수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 바코드 판독장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제어수단은, 상기 검출수단이 촬상한 바코드의 영상에, 디코드처리에 영향을 주지않는 실용상의 움직임이 없는 것을 검출하였을 때에, 디코드처리의 개시를 지시하는 디코드개시신호을 출력하는 개시지시수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 바코드 판독장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 개시지시수단에서의 디코드개시신호에 응답하여 상기 촬상수단에 의하여 촬상된 영상에서 바코드의 정보를 디코드하는 디코드수단도 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 바코드 판독장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 검출수단은, 상기 촬상수단에 의하여 연속적으로 촬상된 2개의 영상을 비교함에 의해서 촬상대상인 바코드의 디코드처리에 영향을 주지 않는 실용상의 정지를 검출하는 정지검출수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 바코드 판독장치.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 정지검출수단은, 상기 촬상수단에 의하여 연속적으로 촬상된 2개의 영상내의 각각 동일한 소정위치의 1라인분의 영상을 비교하여 바코드의 실용상의 정지를 검출하는 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 바코드 판독장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 비교수단은, 상기 촬상수단에 의하여 촬상된 영상내의 소정의 1라인의 위치를 검출하는 위치검출수단; 상기 위치검출수단에 의하여 소정의 1라인위치가 검출되었을 때에. 상기 촬상수단에 의하여 촬상된 1라인분의 영상을 기억하는 영상기억수단;과 상기 위치검출수단에 의하여 다음의 영상내의 1라인의 위치가 검출되었을 때에, 이 1라인분의 영상과 상기 영상기억수단에 기억된 1라인분의 영상을 비교하여 바코드의 실용상의 정지를 검출하는 라인비교수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 바코드 판독장치.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 라인비교수단은, 상기 위치검출수단에 의하여 다음의 영상내의 소정의 1라인위치가 검출되었을 때에, 이 1라인분의 영상과 상기 영상기억수단에 기억된 1라인분의 영상의 영상의 차를 구하는 차산출수단; 상기 차산출수단에서 구해진 동일한 소정 라인위치의 2개의 영상간의 차와 상기 디코드처리에 영향을 주지 않는 바코드의 실용상의 정지에 상당하는 이미 설정된 값을 비교하여, 상기 영상간의 차가 이미 설정된 값이내라면, 디코드처리의 개시를 지시하는 디코드개시신호를 출력하는 디코드개시지시수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 바코드 판독장치.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 디코드개시지시수단에서의 디코드개시신호에 응답하여 상기 촬상수단에 의하여 촬상된 영상에서 바코드의 정보를 디코드하는 디코드수단도 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 바코드 판독장치.
  9. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 정지검출수단은, 상기 비교수단을 복수개 구비하며, 이것에 의해서 상기 촬상수단에 의하여 연속적으로 촬상된 2개의 영상내의 각각 복수의 동일한 소정위치의 1라인분의 영상을 비교하고, 비교수단이 모두 바코드의 실용상의 정지를 검출하였을 때에, 바코드처리의 개시를 지시하는 디코드개시신호를 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 바코드 판독장치.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 정지검출수단에서의 디코드개시신호에 응답하여 상기 촬상수단에 의하여 촬상된 영상에서 바코드의 정보를 디코드하는 디코드수단도 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 바코드 판독장치.
  11. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 동일한 소정위치의 라인은 서로 평행인 것을 특징으로 하는 바코드 판독장치.
  12. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 동일한 소정위치의 라인은 서로 직행(直行)하는 라인을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 바코드 판독장치.
  13. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 정지검출수단은, 상기 촬상수단에 의하여 연속적으로 촬상된 2개의 영상을 기억하는 제1 및 제2기억수단; 상기 제1기억수단에 기억된 영상에서 바코드의 적어도 2개의 특정 모서리의 위치좌표를 검출하는 제1좌표검출수단; 상기 2기억수단에 기억된 영상에서 바코드의 상기 적어도 2개의 특정 모서리의 위치 좌표를 검출하는 제2좌표검출수단;과 상기 제1및 제2좌표검출수단에서 검출된 상기 적어도 2개의 특정 모서리의 좌표위치를 비교하여, 소정의 허용차 이내이면, 디코드처리의 개시를 지시하는 디코드개시신호를 출력하는 디코드개시지시수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 바코드 판독장치.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, 상기 디코드개시지시수단에서의 디코드개시신호에 응답하여 상기 제1 및 제2기억수단중 일측에 기억된 영상에서 바코드의 정보를 디코드하는 디코드수단도 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 바코드 판독장치.
