Claims (11)

  1. 선상 C6-C20알파-올레핀을 함유한 알파-올레핀의 올리고머화 생성물을 포함하는 윤활제 점도 지수 개선제로 유용한 액상 탄화수소 조성물로서, 상기 조성물이 0.19 이하의 분지비를 갖고 무게평균 분자량이 15,000 내지 200,000, 수평균 분자량이 5000 내지 50,000이며 분자량 분산도가 1 내지 5인 액상 탄화수소 조성물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 알파-올레핀은 C8-C141-알켄을 포함하는 조성물.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 중합체잔류물이 알파-올레핀의 수소화 중합체 잔류물을 포함하는 조성물.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 알파 올레핀은 -20℃ 내지 90℃의 온도에서 다공성 기재상의 환원 원자가 상태의 VIB족 금속 촉매와 접촉하여 올리고머화되는데, 상기 촉매는 200℃ 내지 900℃에서 산화가스 존재하에 산화처리된후 촉매를 낮은 원자가 환원시키기에 충분한 온도 및 시간 동일 환원제로 처리되는 조성물.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 촉매는 CO 환원된 CrO3을 포함하며 기재는 기공크기가 40×10-7mm 이상인 실리카를 포함하는 조성물.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 올레핀은 1-데켄을 포함하는 조성물.
  7. 윤활제 점도 지수 개선제로 유용한 탄화수소 조성물의 제조 방법에 있어서, C6-C20알파-올레핀 또는이들의 혼합물을 -20℃ 내지 90℃의 온도에서 올리고머화 조건하에 다공성 기재상의 환원된 원자가 상태 VIB족 금속 촉매와 반응시키는 단계로서, 상기 촉매는 200℃ 내지 900℃에서 산화가스 존재하에 산화 처리된후 촉매를 낮은 원자가 상태로 환원시키기에 충분한 온도 및 시간동안 환원제로 처리되는 단계; 및 상기 조성물을 회수하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
  8. 제1항의 조성물; 및 광유, 폴리올레핀 및 수소화폴리올레핀, 폴리에테르, 비닐중합체, 폴리에스테르, 폴리카보네이트, 그들의 공중합체, 삼중합체 및 이들의 혼합물에서 선택된 액상 윤활제를 포함하는, 향상된 점도 지수 및 전단 안정성을 갖는 윤활제 혼합물.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 혼합물로 1 내지 40 중량 퍼센트의 분지된 탄화수소를 함유하는 윤활제 혼합물.
  10. 액상 윤활제의 점도 지수를 향상시키는 방법에 있어서, 액상 윤활제 베이스스톡과 점도지수 개선 함량의 제1항의 생성을 혼합하는 단계를 포함하여, 액상 윤활제가 고온 및 높은 전단속도 조건하에 전단안정도를 나타내는 방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 고온, 높은 전단속도 조건은 150℃의 온도 및 106S-1의 전단속도를 포함하는 방법.
