본 발명은 텔레비젼 신호의 수직주사기간에 중첩된 문자방송신호를 수신하는 문자방송 수신장치 및 회전을 개재하여 정보센터와 접속된 비디오텍스 단말장치등의 화상정보수신 표시장치에 관한 것이다.
문자방송은 방송측에서 텔레비젼 방송신호의 수직귀선 기간에 있어서의 소정의 수평주사기간에 문자방송 데이타를 중첩하고, 문자방송신호의 수신측은 리모트콘트롤 핸드세트등의 키입력수단을 조작하여 희망하는 문자방송프로그램을 프로그램번호에 의한 지정을 하므로써 텔레비젼 화면에 문자 방송데이타를 표시할 수 있다. 또, 비디오텍스 단말장치는 전화회선등의 케이블을 개재하여 정보센터와 접속하여 정보센터에 회상정보를 지정하는 검색정보를 오르기데이타로서 송신한다. 검색된 화상정보가 내리기데이타로서 단말장치에서 수신된다. 수신된 화상정보는 단말장치에 접속한 텔레비젼 수상기등의 모니타수단에 표시할 수 있다. 그러나 이와 같은 문자방송 수신장치등의 화상정보수신 표시장치는 모니타수단으로서 텔레비젼 수상기를 사용하여 화상정보를 모니타할 경우는 통상 TV 방송수신모드를 화상정보 수신모드로 절환해야 한다. 이로인해 화상정보 수신모드에서는 통상 TV 방송화면의 정보를 알 수 없게 되고, 통상 TV 방송수신모드로 절환하면 화상정보를 알 수 없게 된다.
종래의 화상정보수신 표시장치는 화상정보를 모니타화면에 표시하기 위해서는 통상 TV 방송표시화면의 상태에서 화상정보 표시화면으로 절환하는 조작이 필요하고, 통상 TV 방송화면을 그대로 유지하면서 화상정보를 표시하는 것은 불가능 했었다.
본 발명은 상기의 문제점을 제거하고, 통상 TV 방송표시화면에 화상정보 표시화면을 스파인포즈에 의하여 중첩해서 표시하도록한 화상정보수신 표시장치의 제공을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명은 버퍼메모리를 구비하고, 전송되는 화상정보를 수신하여 전송되는 순으로 상기 버퍼메모리에 일시적으로 보존하는 동시에 상기 버퍼메모리에 보존한 화상정보를 모니타 화면에 표시하도록한 화상정보수신 표시장치로서, 상기 화상정보의 1화면을 압축하는 압축수단과, 이 압축수단에 의하여 압축된 화상정보를 모니타화면에 부화면정보로서 표시하는 부화면표시 제어수단을 구비하고, 압축된 화상정보를 통상 TV 방송화면에 중첩해서 표시하도록한 것이다.
본 발명에 따르면 통상 TV 방송화면을 그대로 유지하면서 문자방송프로그램이나 비디오텍스정보를 지정하여, 그 문자 방송프로그램등을 통상 TV 방송화면에 중첩해서 표시할 수가 있다.
이하 본 발명에 의한 화상정보수신 표시장치에 대하여 설명한다.
제1도는 본 발명에 관한 화상수신 표시장치의 일실시예를 도시하는 구성도이다.
제1도에서, (1)은 텔레비젼 방송수신안테나, (2)는 튜너, (3)은 영상검파회로이다. 영상검파회로(3)에서 영상검파된 복조 영상신호는 문자방송데이타를 전송순으로 발취하는 문자방송데이타 발취회로(4)에 공급되는 동시에 통상 TV 방송신호 처리회로 (5)에 공급된다.
문자방송개제타 발취회로(4)는 발취한 문자방송데이타를 일시적으로 보존하는 버퍼메모리를 구비하고 있고, 버스 라인(6)을 개제하여 마이크로컴퓨터(이하 CPU로 호칭한다 ; (7))와 접속된다. CPU(7)에는 문자방송데이타 표시처리용의 프로그램이 격납된 ROM(8), 작업 RAM(9)이 접속되는 동시에 문자방송데이타중의 코드에 의하여 캐릭터를 발생하는 캐릭터 발생회로(10), 표시콘트롤회로(11) 및 키보드회로(12)가 접속된다.
표시콘트롤회로(11)는 표시출력회로(13)를 개제하여 문자방송 화상신호를 합성회로(16)에 도출하고 있다. 표시 출력회로(13)는 1화면분의 문자방송데이타를 표시하는 화상 RAM를 가지고 있다. 또 표시콘트롤회로(11)는 부화면표시콘트롤회로(14)에 부화면표시제어신호를 보내고, 이 제어 신호에 따라 부화면표시콘트롤회로(14)는 상기 표시출력회로(13)의 화상 RAM를 부화면표시어드레스로 구동한다. 또 부화면표시콘트롤회로(14)는 합성회로(16)에 표시절환신호를 보내고 있다. 이것으로 표시출력회로(13)으로부터의 문자방송데이타가 통상 TV 방송신호 처리회로(5)로부터의 신호와 선택적으로 절환되고 합성되어서 비디오출력회로(17)에 공급된다. 비디오출력회로 (17)는 합성회로(16)에서 합성한 문자방송데이타에 의한 부화면 정보를 포함하는 비디오신호를 CRT(18) 에 공급한다. 또 표시콘트롤회로(11)는 영상검파출력을 동기분리하는 동기분리회로(15)로부터의 동기신호에 의하여 문자방송 화면용의 표시클럭을 작성하고 있다.
이상과같은 구성에 의하면 CPU(7)는 키보드회로(12)로부터의 프로그램번호 데이타에 의하여 문자방송데이타 발취회로(4)의 버퍼메모리내의 데이타를 비교하여, 상기 프로그램번호데이타와 일치하는 프로그램데이타이면 ROM(8)의 프로그램에 따라 그 프로그램데이타를 표시용데이타에 전개한다. 표시용데이타에 전개된 문자방송 화상신호는 표시콘트롤회로(11)를 개제하여 표시출력회로(13)내의 화상 RAM에 문자방송 화상신호를 기입하고, 기입된 데이타는 라스터스캔에 동기해서 독출된다. 이 경우 합성회로(16)는 단자(19)로부터의 표시절환신호에 의하여 문자방송 화상신호를 절환선택 출력하는 모드로되고, 이것에 의하여 합성회로(16)로부터는 문자방송 화상신호가 출력되고, 비디오 출력회로(17)를 개제하여 CRT 화면에 표시된다. 또 이경우에 통상 TV 방송신호를 표시하는 경우는 상기 표시절환신호가 합성회로(16)를 통상 TV 방송신호처리회로(5)로부터의 TV 신호를 절환선택 출력하는 모드를 이루고있고, 합성회로(16)는 선택한 통상 TV 방송신호를 비디오출력회로(17)를 개제하여 CRT 화면에 표시한다.
다음에 본 발명에 의한 문자방송 화상신호의 부화면표시동작을 설명한다.
통상 TV 방송을 수신하여 문자방송프로그램을 수신 표시할 경우에는 문자방송 표시모드를 절환할 필요 없이 문자방송의 프로그램지정을 실시한다. 희망프로그램을 지정하고, 표시출력회로(13)의 화상 RAM에 문자방송데이타가 기입될 때까지는 상기한 통상 TV 방송수신모드와 문자방송 수신모드의 선택절환에 의한 표시처리와 동일하다.
문자방송데이타를 부화면표시하는 신호를, 예를들면 키보드회로(12)에 의하여 키입력하면 이 키입력신호는 CPU(7)에서 해독된다. 이것에 의하여 CPU(7)에서 표시콘트롤회로(11)에 문자방송데이타를 부화면표시하는 제어신호가 전송된다. 표시콘트롤회로(11)는 CPU(7)로부터의 상기 제어신호를 받아서 부화면표시 콘트롤회로(14)를 동작한다.
부화면표시콘트롤회로(14)는 표시콘트롤회로(11)에서 부화면표시제어신호가 수신되면 화상 RAM(13)에 기록된 문자방송데이타를 중간중간 발휘하여 독출하는 부화면표시 어드레스신호를 표시출력회로(13)에 공급하는 동시에 합성회로(16)에 화면절환신호를부화면다. 화면절환신호는 문자방송 화상신호를 통상 TV 방송신호의 라스터스캔에 맞추어서 소정의 표시영역에 절환 표시하는 제어신호이다. 이와 같이하여 문자방송 화상신호는 통상 TV 방송표시화면에 부화면 정보로서 표시되는 것이다.
제2도는 상기와 같은 표시의 화면예를 도시하는 도면이다. 문자방송 화상신호는 주화면이 되는 통상 TV 방송표시화면의 우측 아래 구석에, 이 경우에는 4분의 1로 압축되어서 표시된다. 물론 이것과 반대로 문자방송 화면을 주화면으로 표시하고, 부화면에 통상 TV 방송화면을 표시하도록 해도 좋다. 또, 표시위치는 임의로 선택할 수 있다. 또 4분할한 화면으로 4개의 문자방송프로그램을 일괄 표시하기도 쉽다.
다음에 상기와같은 문자방송 화상신호를 부화면표시할 경우에 데이타의 발취처리(압축으로 호칭한다)를 설명한다. 제3도는 문자방송데이타의 압축처리의 한 실시예를 표시하는 설명도이다. 제3a도는 라스터수가 12개, 가로방향의 화소수를 20으로한 모니터화면에 문자방송데이타를 표시한 상태를 표시하고 있다. 제3b도는 압축후의 화면을 표시하고 있다. 이와 같이 압축전의 화상데이타에 대한 압축후의 화상데이타는 가로방향 및 세로방향으로 각각 1화소 간격으로 데이타를 추출하고 있다. 상세히 설명하면 제1라인의 제1화소데이타는 압축화면의 제1라인, 제1화소에 표시되고, 제3라인의 제7화소데이타는 압축후의 화면의 제2라인, 제4화소에 표시된다. 이것에 의하여 문자방송 화상데이타는 4분의 1로 압축되게 된다.
제4도는 압축수단의 다른 실시예를 설명하는 설명도이다. 제4a도는 압축전의 화면을 표시하고, 제4b, c도는 압축후의 화면을 표시한다. 제4a도는 제3a도와 동일한 사이즈의 화면이고, 가로방향으로는 12개의 라스터를 표시하고 세로방향으로는 20개의 화소를 표시하고 있다. 제4a도의 화면에서 사선을 그린 제2, 제4, 제6… 라스터는 비월주사에 있어서의 제2필드의 화상을 표시하는 사선을 그리지 아니한 제1, 제3, 제5… 라인은 제1필드의 화상을 표시하고 있다.
본 실시예에서는 통상 TV 방송표시화면에 맞추어서 제1필드에 화상과 제2의 필드의 화상을 교대로 독출함으로써 양필드에 정보를 상실하지않고도 화상을 압축할 수 있다. 즉 제4b도의 화상을 제1필드 기간에 제4c도의 화상을 제2필드 기간에 부화면표시한다.
제5도는 상기의 압축표시를 실시하는 필드 절환처리를 설명하는 플로차트이다. 제5도에 있어서, 스템 S1은 절환타이밍을 판별하고 있다. 이것은 제1도에 있어서 동기분리회로(15)로부터의 수직동기신호를 검출한다. 수직동기신호가 검출되지않는 동안은(NO), 통상의 표시처리(메인처리 S2)를 실시하고, 문자방송 데이타를 화상 RAM로 절환하는 동시에 한쪽의 필드분을 부화면표시한다. 표시콘트롤회로(11)는 수직동기신호가 검출되면(YES), 스템 S3을 실행하고 필드 식별신호를 CPU(7)에서 해독시킨다. 이 필드식별신호는 제1도에 점선으로 표시하는 것과 같이 표시콘트롤회로(11)로부터 CPU(7)에 공급된다. CPU(7)는 상기 필드식별신호에 의하여 필드의 판정(스템 S4)을 실시한다. 이 판정 S4에서 제1필드의 경우는 제4a도의 표시(스템 S5)를 실행하고, 제2필드의 경우는 제4b도의 표시(스템 S6)를 한다. 상기 압축표시 후는 메인스템 S2를 개제하여 재차 절환타이밍의 식별(S1)로 이행한다.
상기 압축수단은 1화면의 상하 어느 하나의 절반을 점유하게되고, 4분의 1의 부화면에 표시할 수는 없다. 그러므로 제1도의 실시예에 접합하도록 부화면정보로 압축하기 위해서는 다시 제6도의 도시와 같은 압축을 실시하면 된다.
제6도에 있어서 제6a도는 제3a도, 제4a도에 대응하는 12라인, 20화소의 모니터화면을 나타낸다. 제6b도는 제6a도의 화상의 압축화상이다. 제6a의 화상은 소정의 표시블록으로 H.F.L.D의 문자가 표시되어 있다. 이와 같은 화상을 제6b도의 화상으로 압축하기 위해서는 세로방향의 각 2개마다의 화소열(짝수화소열과 홀수화소열) A1과, B1, A2와 B2, A3과 B3, A4와 B4, A5와 B5, A6과 B6, A7과 B7, A8과 B8, A9와 B9, A10과 B10의 논리화연산을 실시한다. 그리고 이것으로 얻은 화소데이타를 압축화상의 화소데이타로 하는 것이다.
제6도에서, 화소열(C1은 A1과 B1의 논리화출력에 의한 화소데이타가 표시되는 영역을 표시하고, C2는 A2와 B2의 논리출력에 의한 화소데이타가 표시되는 영역을, 동일하게 C3은 A3과 B3의, C4는 A4와 B4의, C5는 A5와 B5의 C6은 A6과 B6의 , C7은 A7과 B7의, C8은 A8과 B8의 C9는 A9와 B9의, C10은 A10과 B10의 논리화출력을 표시하는 영역이다.
상기 논리화출력에 의한 화소데이타는 예를들면 제1라인에 있어서의 제1화소 A1과 제2화소 B1의 경우 문자가 표시안되는 백색의 부분을 논리 ″0″의 화소출력, 문자의 표시영역인 사선을 한 부분을 논리 ″1″의 화소출력으로하면 압축화면의 제1화소 C1에는 사선으로 표시되는 문자의 표시영역인 논리 ″1″의 화소데이타가 표시된다. 또 제3라인에 있어서의 화소 A2와 B2의 논리화출력은 ″1″이므로 압축화면의 제3라인에 있어서의 화소 C2에는 문자 H의 중간선을 표시하는 화상이 표시되게 된다.
제6b도에 의하면 상기 압축을 해도 각 문자의 정보는 거의 없어지지 않는 것을 알 수 있다. 또, 종래는 이와 같은 표시블록단위의 압축을 할경우, 예를들면 제7도의 도시와같은 짝수화소열 B1,B2,B3,B4,B5,B6,B7,B8,B9,B10을 모두 발취하는 처리를 하고 있었으므로 각 문자에 관환 정보의 결락 정도가 컸었다.
제6도와 같은 압축방법은 화면을 세로방향으로 2분할한 화면사이즈로 압축되므로 제4도에 도시한 필드마다 절환표시하는 압축방법과 병용하면 4분의 1화면 사이즈의 부화면데이타를 작성할 수 있다.
이와 같이 본 발명은 정보를 거의 결락없이 모니터 화면에 문자방송데이타등에 의한 부화면 정보를 표시할 수 있다.
이상의 설명과같이 본 발명에 의하면 통상 TV 방송표시 화면에 문자방송데이타를 부화면표시할 수 있게 된다.

Claims (14)

  1. 문자방송정보를 포함하는 텔레비젼 방송신호를 수신하기위한 수신수단(1,2,3)과, 상기 수신수단(1,2,3)에서 수신한 텔레비젼 방송신호로부터 텔레비젼 화상정보를 얻기위한 TV 방송신호처리회로(5)과, 상기 TV 방송신호처리회로(5)에서 얻은 텔레비젼 화상정보를 표시하기위한 표시수단(18)과, 상기 수신수단(1,2,3)에서 수신한 텔레비젼방송신호로부터 상기 문자방송정보를 얻기위한 문자방송 정보추출수단(4,10)과, 상기 문자방송정보추출수단(4,10)에서 얻은 상기 문자방송정보를 일시 보존하기위한 보존수단과, 상기 보존수단에 보존된 상기 문자방송정보를 상기 표시수단(18)에서 표시되는 상기 텔레비젼 화상정보로 변환하여 표시하기 위한 표시 콘트롤수단(7,11,16)을 가지는 화상정보수신 표시장치에 있어서, 상기 보존수단에 보존된 상기 문자방송정보를 발취압축하기위한 압축수단(7,9,11)을 구비하는, 상기 표시제어수단(7,11,16)은 상기 표시수단(18)에 표시되는 상기 텔레비젼 화상정보의 일부를 상기 압축수단 (7,9,11)에서 압축된 상기 문자방송정보로 절환하여 표시함으로서, 상기 문자방송정보를 부화면으로서 상기 표시수단(18)에 상기 텔레비젼 화상정보와 함께 표시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상정보수신 표시장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 압축수단(7,9,11)이 상기 보존수단에 보존된 상기 문자방송정보를 상기 표시수단(18)의 표시화면의 세로방향 및 가로방향으로 1화소씩 발취압축하는 압축수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상정보수신 표시장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 압축수단(7,9,11)이 비월주사의 제1필드에 있어서 상기 보존수단에 보존된 상기 문자방송정보를 제2의 필드에 표시되는 화소를 발취압축하는 제1압축수단 및 비월주사의 제2필드에 있어서, 상기 보존수단에 보존된 문자방송정보를 제1필드에 표시될 화소를 발취압축하는 제2압축수단을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상정보수신 표시장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 표시제어수단(7,9,11)이 상기 제1 및 제2압축수단에서 압축된 상기 각 문자 방송정보를 부화면으로서 상기 표시수단(18)에 필드마다 교대로 표시하는 수단을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상정보수신 표시장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 압축수단(7,9,11)이 상기 보존수단에 보존된 상기 문자방송정보의 상기 표시수단(18)의 표시화면으로 구성되는 세로방향의 각 2개마다의 화소의 논리화출력을 세로방향의 각화소로 함으로써 상기 보존수단에 보존된 상기 문자방송정보를 압축하는 수단을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상정보수신 표시장치.

  7. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 압축수단(7,9,11)이 다시 상기 보존수단에 보존된 상기 문자방송정보의 상기 표시수단(18)의 표시화면으로 구성된 세로방향의 각 2개마다의 화소의 논리화출력을 세로방향의 각 화소로 함으로써 상기 보존수단에 보존된 상기 문자방송정보를 압축하는 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상정보수신 표시장치.
  8. 문자방송정보를 포함하는 텔레비젼 방송신호를 수신하여 수신된 이 텔레비젼 방송신호에서 텔레비젼 화상정보를 얻어, 이 얻은 텔레비젼 화상정보에 따른 텔레비젼 표시화면을 표시하고, 상기 수신한 텔레비젼 방송신호로부터 상기 문자방송정보를 얻고, 또한 이 얻은 문자방송정보를 일시 보존함으로써 텔레비젼 표시화면에 상기 문자방송정보를 스퍼인포즈하는 화상정보수신 표시방법에 있어서, 상기 얻은 문자방송정보를 발취압축하여 상기 표시되는 상기 텔레비젼 화상정보의 일부를 상기 압축된 상기 문자방송정보에 따라 문자방송화면으로 절환 표시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상정보수신 표시방법.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 문자방송정보를 발취압축할때에 상기 보존된 문자방송정보를 상기 텔레비젼 표시화면의 세로방향 및 가로방향으로 1화소식 발취하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상정보수신 표시방법.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 문자방송정보를 발취압축할때, 비월주사의 제1필드에 있어서, 상기 보존된 상기 문자방송정보를 제2필드에 표시될 화소를 발취압축하고, 또한 비월주사의 제2필드에 있어서 상기 보존된 상기 문자방송정보를 제1필드에 표시될 화소를 발취압축하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상정보수신 표시방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 텔레비젼 표시화면에 상기 문자방송정보를 스퍼인포즈할때 상기 제2필드에 표시될 화소를 발취압축한 상기 문자방송정보와 상기 제1필드에 표시될 화소를 발취압축한 상기 문자방송정보를 교대로 스퍼인포즈하는 것을 특징으로하는 화상정보수신 표시방법.
  12. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 문자방송정보를 발취압축할때에 상기 보존된 문자방송정보중에서 상기 텔레비젼 표시화면의 세로방향의 각 2개마다의 화소의 논리화출력을 세로방향의 화소로 하는 것을 특징으로하는 화상정보수신 표시방법.
  13. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 문자방송정보를 발취압축할때에 상기 보존된 문자방송정보 중에서 상기 텔레비젼 표시화면의 세로방향의 각 2개마다 화소의 논리화출력을 세로방향의 화소로 하는 것을 특징으로하는 화상정보수신 표시방법.
  14. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 문자방송정보를 발취압출할때에 상기 보존된 문자방송정보중에서 상기 텔레비젼 표시화면의 세로방향의 각 2개마다의 화소의 논리화출력을 세로방향의 화소로하는 것을 특징으로하는 화상정보수신 표시방법.
