Claims (1)

  1. 제1파이프(1)에 밀폐적으로 결합되는 제1슬라이브(10)와, 제2파이프(2)에 밀폐적으로 결합되는 제2슬리이브(20)와, 제1 및 제2슬리이브(10), (20)가 상호간으로 향하여 축방향으로 밀착될 때 제1 및 제2슬리이브(10), (20)의 각각의 압축면(15), (25) 사이에 압축되도록 제1 및 제2슬리이브(10), (20) 사이에 삽입되는 금속 가스켓(30)과, 상호간으로 향하여 축방향으로 제1 및 제2슬리이브(10), (20)를 밀착시키도록 제2슬리이브(20)상에 나사로 조여질 수 있으며 제1슬리이브(10)와 결합되는 커플링 너트(5)로 구성되는 유니온 조인트로서, 압축면(15), (25)에 대응하고 금속 가스켓(30)의 외부 형상에 대략 일치하는 형상을 갖는 홈(15), (25)이 제1 및 제2슬리이브(10), (20)의 각각의 끝단면(16), (26) 내에 각각 형성되고, 금속 가스켓(30)을 정위치에 유지하기 위한 유지부재(40)는 제1 또는 제2슬리이브(10), (20)중의 하나 상에 분리가능하게 놓이며, 금속 가스켓(30)은 C자 상의 횡단면을 가지며, 유지 부재(40)의 유지 플랜지(42)는 대응하는 슬리이브 상의 정위치에 금속 가스켓(30)을 유지하도록 금속 가스켓(30)의 개구부내에 삽입되며, 유지 부재(40)는 제1 및 제2슬리이브(10), (20)가 커플링 너트(5)에 의해서 상호간으로 향하여 축방향으로 밀착될때 금속 가스켓(30)의 압축을 제한하도록 제1 및 제2슬리이브(10), (20)의 끝단면(16), (26)에 걸어맞추어지는 압축제한부(46)를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 유니온 조인트.
