제2도는 본 발명에 관한 다공질 소결체의 분극성 전극을 제조하기 위한 장치를 나타내는 개략 구성도,
제3도는 활성탄 미립자 분체에 인가하는 압력과 이것을 흐르는 평균 전류와 미립자 온도의 변화를 시간의 추이와 함께 표시한 도,
제5도는 슬러리(slurry)상의 페이스트(paste) 전극을 사용하여 구성된 종래의 전기 2중층 콘텐서의 단면도이다.

Claims (4)

  1. 활성탄과 전해질의 계면에서 형성되는 전기 2중층을 이용한 전기 2중층 콘텐서는, 입자직경이 상이한 적어도 2종의 활성탄 미립자 상호간을 소결 결합시킨 다공질 소결체에 의하여 형성된 적어도 2개의 분극성 전극과;상기 분극성 전극간에 배설된 세퍼레이터와; 상기 분극성전극, 세퍼레이터 및 전해액을 밀봉 수납하는 용기를 포함하는 전기 2중층 콘덴서.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 다공질 소결체는 입자직경이 상이한 2종의 활성탄 미립자 분체로 구성되고, 입자직경이 작은 분체의 혼합비율이 대략 10%인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 2중층 콘덴서.
  3. 활성탄과 전해질의 계면에서 형성되는 전기 2중층을 이용한 전기 2중층 콘텐서의 분극성 전극의 제조방법은, 입자 직경이 상이한 적어도 2종의 활성탄 미립자 분체를 혼합하는 스텝과, 혼합된 미립자 분체를 성형형에 수납하는 스텝과; 상기 분체에 압력을 인가하는 스텝과; 압력이 인가된 분체의 미립자간에 펄스상 전압을 인가시켜 각 입자간에 방전을 발생시키는 스텝과; 분체의 미립자간에 펄스상 전압을 인가시킨후 가압한 활성탄 미립자를 소정의 온도로 유지하여 활성탄 미립자를 소결하는 스텝을 갖는 전기 2중층 콘덴서의 분극성 전극의 제조방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 활성탄 미립자 분체를 혼합하는 스텝은, 입자 직경이 상이한 적어도 2종의 활성탄 미립자 분체에 증류수를 가하여 교반하여 페이스트 상으로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 2중층 콘덴서의 분극성 전극의 제조방법.
