Claims (16)
- 하기(i) 및 (ii)로 구성되는 유전자 전환 식물의 제조방밥; (i)(a) 적당한 프로모터와 (b)그 생성물이 해당작용에서 또는 전분, 수크로오즈 또는 환원당의 합성이나 분해를 위한 경로에서 대사 중간 물질의 양을 조절하는 암호서열로 구성된는 키메라 유전자로 식물세포를 형질전환시키고, (ii)형질 전환된 세포로 부터 식물을 재생시키는 것으로 구성되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 암호 서열(b)는 포스포프락토키나아체, 피루베이트 키나아제, 산 전환효소, 전분 합성효소, 아데닌 디포스폭글루코오즈 피로포스포릴라제, 수크로오즈 합성효소, 6-포스포프락토키아이제(피로포스페이트) 또는 수크로오즈 포스페이트 합성효소로 부터 선택되는 효소를 암호화 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서, 암호 서열 (b)는 미생물의 유전자인 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 암호서열(b)는 박테리아 유전자로 부터인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 유전자(b)는 포스포프락토니키나아제를 암호화한 방법.
- 제1-5항중 한항에 있어서, 유전자(b)는 2이상의 효소를 암호화하는 방법.
- 제1~6항중 한항에 있어서, (i)단계에서 형질전환된 식물 세포는 보리, 밀, 옥수수 및 쌀로 부터 선택되는 단자엽 식물 종 또는 목화, 상치, 멜론, 완두, 페튜니아, 감자, 평지, 콩, 사탕무우, 해바라기, 담배 및 토마토로 부터 선택되는 쌍자엽 식물종의 세포인 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 감자는 데시레(Desiree), 마리스바아드(Maris Bard), 레코드(Record) 및 루셋 부반크(Burbank)로 부터 선택되는 감자 칼티바(cultivar)인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 6항중 한항에서 정의된 키메라 유전자.
- 제1항 내지 6항중 한 항에 정의된 바와 같이 키메라 유전자를 함유하여 키메라 유전자가 벡터로 형질 전환된 식물 세포에서 발현될 수 있도록 한 벡터.
- 제10항에 있어서, 플라스미드인 벡터.
- 식물 세포로소, 제1항 내지 6항중 한 항에서 정의된 키메라 유전자를 포함하여 키메라 유전자가 그 안에서 발현될 수 있는 식물세포.
- 유전자 전환 식물로서, 제1항 내지 6항중 한 항에서 정의된 키메라 유전자를 상기 세포안에 포함하여 키메라 유전자가 식물의 세포내에서 발현될 수 있는 유전자 전환 식물.
- 제13항에 있어서, 감자인 식물.
- 제13항 또는 14항 청구의 유전자전환 식물로 부터 얻어진 씨앗.
