Claims (12)
- 메모리성을 갖는 액정을 사용한 표시 패널을 사용하여, 화소수, 표시색. 최소화소단위등이 상이한 복수표시모드의 화상데이타를 표시 가능한 표시장치에 있어서, 화상 데이타를 기억하는 기억수단과, 상기 기억수단에 기억된 화상데이타를 화소데이타마다 출력하는 화소데이타 출력수단과, 상기 호소데이타 출력수단에 의해 출력된 화소데이타를 상기 표시패널에 표시하는 2차 데이타로 변화하는 변환수단과, 상기 변환수단에 의해 변환된 2차에이타를 상기 표시 모드에 대응한 표시데이타로 변환하여 출력하는 표시데이타 출력수단과, 상기 표시데이타 출력수단에 의해 출력된 화상 데이타를 상기 표시 패널에 표시하는 표시제어 수단과으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 화소데이타 출력수단은 멀티플랙서인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 변환 수단은 2치 데이타를 기억한 RAM(랜덤 억세스 메모리)인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 변환수단은 2치 데이타를 기억한 복수의 RAM(랜덤 엑세스 메모리)에 의해 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 표시패널에 표시된 화상데이타의 유효시 영역외에 바라는 프레임 화상데이타를 표시하는 프레임 표시수단을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 프레임 표시수단을 유효표시영역외의 프레임 화상 데이타를 유효 표시영역에 표시하는 화상 데이타의 수평 및 수직 블랭킹 기간내에 출력하여 표시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 표시 데이타 출력수단은 멀티플랙서인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 메모리성을 갖는 액정은 강유전성 액정인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
- 메모리성을 갖는 액정을 사용한 표시패널을 이용한 표시장치에 있어서, 상기 표시패널의 화상데이타를 표시하는 유효표시영역외에 프레임화상 데이타를 표시하는 프레임 표시수단을 가지며, 그 프레임 표시수단은 화상데이타의 수평 및 수직 블랭킹 기간내에 프레임 화상 데이타를 출력하여 표시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 메모리성을 갖는 액정은 강유전성 액정인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 프레임 표시수단은 상기 유효표시영역외의 프레임화상 데이타의 설정을 화상데이타의 1수평 주사기간내 또는 1수직 표시기간내에서 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 프레임 표시수단은 상기 유효표시영역외에 표시하는 프레임 화상 데이타를 기억하는 기억수단을 더 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
