Claims (14)

  1. (A)특정량의 금속 알콕시드를 알코올 중에 용해시키는 단계: 여기서, 금속 알콕시드의 알킬기와 알코올의 알킬기는 서로 동일하며 4개 이상의 탄소 원자수와 분지쇄형 구조를 가짐. (B)특정량의 물을 일정량의 동일한 알킬 알코올에 첨가하는 단계. (C)상기물을 함유하는 알코올을 상기 금속 알콕시드를 함유하는 알코올에 교반시키면서 서서히 첨가하는 단계. (D)생성된 용액을 습도를 조절한 환경하에 두어 용액으로부터 알코올을 서서히 건조시킴으로써 겔을 형성하는 단계. (E)약 400℃이하의 온도로 소성시킴으로써 상기 겔을 막으로 소결시키는 단계로 이루어지는 일정한 크기의 작은 공경을 갖는 금속 산화물 세라믹 막의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 금속이 티타늄인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 단계(A) 및 (B)에서 사용되는 알코올이 tert-아밀 알코올인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 용액 중의 금속 알콕시드의 물 농도가 약 0.2M인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 물 대 금속 산화물 분자의 비가 약 6대 1이 되도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 단계(B)에서 물을 pH 1내지 3으로 미리 산성화시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 알킬 알코올이 5개 이상의 탄소 원자수와 분지쇄형 구조를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 단계(D)가 용액을 밀폐된 건조실에서 알코올이 거의 증발되기에 충분한 시간동안 위치시킴으로써 수행되는 것을 방지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 단계(E)의 소결단계에서 온도를 분당 약 0.1℃이하의 상승폭으로 상승시킴으로써 막상에 탄소가 침착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 단계(A)이전에, 추가로 알코올이 4개 이하의 탄소 원자수를 갖는 금속 알콕시드를 알코올 교환 공정에서 분지쇄형 구조와 4개 이상의 탄소 원자수를 갖는 특정 알킬 알코올로 치환시키는 금속 산화물처리 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  11. 40Å미만의 평균 공경을 갖는 투명한 다공성 이산화 티타늄 세라믹 막을 포함하는 재료 조성물.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 평균 공경이 5Å을 초과하는 것을 특징으로 하는 재료 조성물.
  13. 전이금속 및 그의 혼합물로 구성되는 군 중에서 선택된 금속의 산화물로 이루어진 40Å미만의 평균 공경을 갖는 투명한 다공성 금속 산화물 세라믹 막을 포함하는 재료 조성물.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, 평균 공경이 15Å이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 재료 조성물.
