제6도 및 제7도는 전기 컨덕터의 테이프 부착된 단부의 절단 및 스트리핑(stripping)을 보여주는 확대 단면도.

Claims (8)

  1. 절연된 전기 컨덕터(23)들은 컨덕터 공급 부재(10)로부터 경로(11)를 따라 이격된 관계로 공급하는 컨덕터 피이딩 장치(12,13)와, 컨덕터(23)들의 선단부가 전기 커넥터(17)의 절연 하우징내 전기 접촉 종단부에 종단되는 종단 장치(16,18)와, 종단 장치(16,18)로부터 이격된 위치에서 컨덕터(23)들에 테이프(24)를 부착하여 컨덕터들을 평행 이격관계로 유지하는 상기 컨덕터 피이딩 장치(12,13) 근처의 테이핑 유니트(14)와, 상기 종단부재(16,18)보다 전진한 위치에 있는 커팅 및 스트리핑 장치(19a,19b;20a,20b)와, 테이프(24)상의 컨덕터를 절단하고 컨덕터로부터 절연부를 벗겨서 전도 코어를 노출시키는 커팅 및 스트리핑 장치(19a,19b; 20a,20b)에 컨덕터의 테이프 부착부가 정렬 위치되도록 커넥터와 컨덕터의 테이프부를 이동시켜서 테이블 어셈블리가 테이프 부착 컨덕터 단부를 구비하면서 완성되게 하기 위해 커넥터(17) 근처에서 컨덕터(23)를 잡는 이동 장치(21)를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 전기 케이블 제조 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 커팅 및 스트리핑 장치(19a,19b; 20a,20b)가 커넥터를 절단하면, 클램핑 장치(15)는 컨덕터를 클램핑하여 컨덕터(23)의 새로운 선단부를 종단 장치(16,18)의 위치로 위치시키기 위하여 테이핑 유니트(14)를 향해 이동함으로써, 이 선단부들이 테이핑 유니트(14)가 컨덕터(23)에 테이프(24)를 부착하는 동안 또다른 전기 커넥터(17')의 접촉 종단부에서 종단되도록 테이핑 유니트(14)와 종단 장치(16,18) 사이에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조 장치.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 테이핑 유니트(14)는 케이블 어셈블리의 길이를 변화시키기 위하여 상기 경로(11)를 따라 있어서, 이동할 수 있음을 특징으로 하는 제조 장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 커팅 및 스트리핑 장치(19a,19b; 20a,20b)는 지지부재(24a,24b)상에 장착된 커팅 블래이드(19a,19b)와 스트리핑 블래이드(20a,20b)를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 제조 장치.
  5. 절연된 전기 컨덕터(23)를 경로(11)를 따라 종단 스테이션(16,18)으로 공급하는 단계와, 컨덕터(23)의 선단부를 전기 커넥터(17)의 전기 접촉부에 종단하는 단계와, 종단 스테이션(16,18)으로부터 이격된 테이핑 스테이션(14)에서 컨덕터(23)에 테이프(24)를 부착하는 단계와, 컨덕터의 테이프 부착부가 커팅 및 스트리핑 스테이션(19a,19b; 20a,20b)에 위치될 때까지 커넥터(17)와 컨덕터(23)를 이동하는 단계와, 테이프(24)상의 컨덕터를 절단하고, 컨덕터의 단부로부터 절연부를 벗겨내어 전도 코어(23a')를 노출시킴으로써 케이블 어셈블리가 테이프 부착의 컨덕터 말미 단부를 가지면서 완성되도록 하는 단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 전기 케이블 어셈블리 제조 장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 테이핑 스테이션(14)과 종단 스테이션(16,18) 사이에서 컨덕터(23)를 클램핑하는 단계와, 절단된 컨덕터의 새로운 선단부를 후방으로 이동하는 단계와, 컨덕터의 새로운 선단부를 종단, 스테이션(16,18)상에 위치시키는 단계와, 컨덕터의 새로운 선단부를 또다른 커넥터(17')의 전기 접촉부에 종단하는 단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 제조 방법.
  7. 제5항에 있어서, 테이프(24)를 컨덕터(23)에 부착함과 동시에 컨덕터의 새로운 선단부를 다른 커넥터(17')의 전기 접촉부에 종단하는 단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 제조 방법.
  8. 제5항에 있어서, 테이핑 스테이션(14)은 케이블 어셈블리의 길이를 변화시키도록 이동될 수 있음을 특징으로 하는 제조 방법.
