Claims (25)

  1. 입구 포트가 배출포트의 폐쇄를 하기 전에 개방하기 위하여 입구 및 배출포트가 배열되며, 연소실로 들어 간공기의 깨끗한 충진물을 통하여 최고 하나의 입구포트에 그리고 연소실로 부터 배출시스템으로 통과한 가스를 통하여 배출포트로 가며 연소실로 연료를 공급하기 위한 수단이 제공되며 그안에 각 연소실이 있는 2행정 사이클 내연기관을 작동하기 위한 방법에 있어서, 각 연소실의 배출포트 개방 주기동안 상기 가스의 제1위치는 연소실로 부터 배출되며, 배출포트 개방주기가 제1촉매 특성의 제1촉매 수단과 접촉하도록 조작되는 동안동일 배출포트 개방주기로 상기 연소실로 부터 배출된 가스의 연속 제2부분은 제1촉매수단으로 다른 촉매특성의 제2촉매 수단과 접촉하도록 조작되는 것을 특징으로 하는 2행정 사이클 내연기관의 작동방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 제1촉매 수단은 가스의 제1부분에서 질소 산화물을 환원시키도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 제2촉매수단은 가스의 제2부분에서 탄화수소나 일산화탄소를 산화시키도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 배출가스의 제1부분은 제1부분이 기관으로 부터 다른 배출가스와 혼합되기 전에 그리고 연소실로 부터 배출한 후에 제1촉매 수단과 직접 접촉하게 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제1항, 제2항, 제3항, 제4항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 배출가스의 제1부분은 배출가스의 제2부분과 제1부분의 최소 부분에서 제1촉매 수단에 의해 처리하게 된 후 제2촉매 수단과 직접접촉하게 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 제1촉매 수단과 접촉한 후 배출가스의 제1부분의 최소부분은 연소실 후방으로 있으며, 제2촉매 수단과 접촉한 배출가스의 제2부분에 있게 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제1항, 제2항, 제3항, 제4항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 배출가스의 제1부분의 상기 부분은 제2촉매수단과 직접 접촉하게 될 때 배출가스의 제2부분에 싣게 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  8. 연소실로 연료를 공급하도록 각 연소실 수단을 가지며, 배출포트는 연소실로 부터 배출시스템으로 가스가 통과하고, 최소 한개의 입구포트는 연소실로 들어 온공기의 깨끗한 충진물이 통과하고, 입구 및 배출포트는 입구포트가 배출포트를 폐쇄하기 전에 개방하기 위하여 배열되는 2행정 사이클 내연기관에 있어서, 배출포트 개방주기동안 연소실로 부터 배출된 가스의 제1부분을 수용하도록 위치된 제1촉매특성의 제1촉매수단과, 제1촉매수단과 다른 촉매특성이며 제1부분의 배출로써 동일 배출포트개방주기에서 개시 다음에 연소실로 부터 배출된 가스의 제2부분을 수용하기 위한 제2촉매 수단을 배출시스템내에 제공하게 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 2행정 사이클 내연기관.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 제1촉매 수단은 환원수단을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관.
  10. 제8항 또는 제9항에 있어서, 제2촉매 수단은 산화수단을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관.
  11. 제8항, 제9항 또는 제10항에 있어서, 제2촉매 수단은 입구포트가 개방된후 그리고 배출포트가 개방되는 동안 연소실로 부터 배출된 배출가스를 수용하도록 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관.
  12. 제8항, 제9항, 제10항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 제1촉매 수단은 배출포트의 주변과 거의 연속적으로 그들의 한단부와 연소실의 배출포트내에 위치하게 되며 상기 제1촉매수단은 이와 같은 노출이 진행하는 방향에서 배출포트의 개방동안 먼저 노출하게 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 제2촉매 수단은 배출포트의 주변과 거의 연속적으로 그들의 한단부와 제1촉매 수단과 접한 배출포트내에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, 제2촉매 수단은 배출포트로 부터 연장한 통로내에 위치하며, 제2촉매 수단의 단부는 그들로 부터 하류에 간격진 배출포트에 인접하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관.
  15. 제13항 또는 제14항에 있어서, 제1촉매 수단은 공동의 폐쇄단부가 제1촉매 수단의 인접단부사이에 형성된 실을 구비하며, 다른 단부에서 폐쇄되는 배출포트를 갖는 한단부와 연통한 공동내에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관.
  16. 제8항, 제9항 또는 제10항에 있어서, 제1촉매 수단은 배출포트를 갖는 한단부에 연통된공동내에 위치하고, 밸브수단은 공동의 한단부에 제공되며, 상기 밸브수단은 연소실과 배출포트를 통한 공동사이의 연통의 타이밍을 변화할 수 있도록 작동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관.
  17. 제16항에 있어서, 밸브수단의 부분이 배출포트와 관련하여 연속적으로 연소실의 축에 평행한 방향에서 움직이는 것과 같이 밸브수단은 배출포트에 대하여 제어된 움직임을 위하여 설치된 부재이며, 상기부재는 공동과 연통하도록 상기 부분을 통한 구멍을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관.
  18. 제1항, 제2항, 제3항, 제4항, 제5항, 제6항, 제7항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 기관은 스파크점화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관의 작동방법.
  19. 제8항, 제9항, 제10항, 제11항, 제12항, 제13항, 제14항, 제15항, 제16항, 제17항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 상기 기관은 스파크 점화기관인 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관.
  20. 제1항, 제2항, 제3항, 제4항, 제5항, 제6항, 제7항, 제8항, 제9항, 제10항, 제11항, 제12항, 제13항, 제14항, 제15항, 제16항, 제17항 또는 제18항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 연료는 연소실안으로 직접분사되는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관.
  21. 제8항, 제9항, 제10항, 제11항, 제12항, 제13항, 제14항, 제15항, 제16항, 제17항 또는 제19항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 연료를 공급하기 위한 상기 수단은 연소실안으로 직접연료를 분사하도록 배열된 연료분사기관인 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관.
