Claims (6)

  1. 관상 텍스타일(tubular textile)이 훨터 케이지(filter cage)와 훨터물질 사이에 위치하는 경우, 마찰에 의해 훨터 지지체 케이지에 의하여 마모되는 훨터물질의 기계적 수명을 연장하는데 유용하며, 기체침투도(airpermeability)가 1/2인치의 수압에서 1000ft3/ft2/분 이상인, 필라멘트상 폴리(테트라플루오로에틸렌)을 포함하는 광상 텍스타일.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 줄량이 2 내지 6 oz/yd2인 관상 텍스타일.
  3. 제 1 항에 있어서, 텍스타일의 폴리(테트라플루오로에틸렌)이 100이상의 데니어를 갖는 모노필라멘트로서 존재하는 관상 텍스타일.
  4. 제 1 항에 있어서, 텍스타일의 폴리(테트라플루오로에틸렌)이 멀티필라멘트사로서 존재하고, 사의 필라멘트가 100 미만의 데니어를 갖는 관상 텍스타일.
  5. 기체침투도가 1/2인치의 사압에서 1000ft3/ft2/분 이상인 폴리(테트라플루오로에틸렌)의 관상 텍스타일로 커버되며, 이 관상 텍스타일 층상에 통상적인 디자인 및 구성의 여과층을 입힌 케이지를 포함하는, 입상 물질을 함유하는 뜨거운 기체를 여과하기 위한 조립체(assembly).
  6. 백(bag)은 유연성이 있으며 입상물질(particulate matter)은 백 내부로 방출된 기체의 펄스(pulse)에 의해 백의 외측표면으로부터 제거되는, 외측 백 여과시스템(outside bag filtration system)을 이용하여 입상물질을 함유하는 기체를 여과하는 방법에 있어서, 기체 침투도가 1/2인치의 수압에서 1000ft3/ft2/분 이상인 폴리(테트라플루오로에틸렌)의 관상 텍스타일로 외측 백 여과시스템의 케이지를 커버한 다음, 훨터 백을 표준 방법으로 도포하는 단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
