제2도는 로울(40)으로부터 캘린더링 닢으로 공급되는 피복된 시이트(3)의 캘린더링 단계(calendering step)를 도시한 것이다.

Claims (6)

  1. 증기-액체-투과성 섬유 베이스 시이트(vapor and liquid-permeable, fibrous base sheet)의 표면에 폴리프로필렌의 연속 피복물을 적용한 다음, 피복된 표면을 캘린더링(Calendering)하는 단계〔여기서, 폴리프로필렌 피복물의 용융유량(melt flow rate)은 적어도 30이고 단위중량은 5내지 15g/m2이며, 캘린더링은 피복된 직물의 투습도(moisture vapor transmission)를 적어도 200g/m2day까지 증가시키는 동시에 적어도 20cm의 수두(hydrostatic head)를 수득하는데 충분한 온도 및 충분한 하중하에 수행한다〕를 포함함을 특징으로 하여 증기-투과성(vaporpermeable),액체-수-불투과성(liquid-water-impermeable)직물을 제조하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 섬유 베이스 시이트는 적어도 500g/m2day의 초기 투습도 및 10cm미만의 수두를 가지며, 필라멘트 당 dtex (dtex/fil)가 1내지 20이고 중량이 50내지 150g/m2인 폴리프로필렌 또는 폴리에스테르 필라멘트로 주로 이루어지고, 폴리프로필렌 피복물은 45내지 130의 용융유량 및 7내지 11g/m2의 단위 중량을 가지며, 베이스 직물 표면에 적용하는 경우 직물의 투습도는 100g/m2day미만으로 감소하며, 피복된 시이트의 투습도를 적어도 400g/m2day까지 증가시키는 동시에 수두를 적어도 30cm의 값에서 유지시키기 위한 온도 및 하중의 조건하에 캘린더링을 수행하는 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 섬유 베이스 시이트의 투습도가 700내지 1,000g/m2day이고, 수두는 단지 5cm이며, 폴리프로필렌필라멘트의 필라멘트당 dtex (dtex/fil)가 2내지 12인 방법.
  4. 제1항 ,제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 닢 하중(nip load)이 직선 cm당 1400내지 3000뉴우톤(1,400-3,000N/직선cm)이며 캘린더 로울 표면 온도가 135내지 155℃인 조건하에서 캘린더링을 수행하는 방법.
  5. 중량이 50내지 125g/m2이고 필라멘트당 dtex (dtex/fil)가 1내지 20인 폴리프로필렌 또는 폴리에스테르 필라멘트의 피복된 섬유 베이스 시이트: 폴리프로필렌의 캘린더링된 피복물 층(여기서, 피복물 층의 단위 중량은 5내지 15g/m2이다)의 용융량이 30내지 150이며, 실제로 개스의 흐름은 허용하지만 실제로 액체-수(liquid water)의 흐름을 방해하는 다수의 작은 기공(pore)을 함유하는 섬유 베이스 시이트의 적어도 하나의 평평한 표면: 및 투습도가 적어도 200g/m2/day이며 수두가 적어도 20cm인 직물을 포함하는 증기-투과성, 액체-수-불투과성 직물.
