제2도는 케이블의 임의 소자를 상세히 도시하는 제1도의 케이블의 단면도.
제5 및 6도는 방수성 테이프를 포함하는 본 발명의 다른 케이블의 사시 및 단면도.
제9도는 본 발명의 케이블의 다른 실시예에 대한 사시도.
Claims (10)
- 적어도 하나의 전송 매체를 구비하는 코어 및 플라스틱 물질을 구비하여 상기 코어를 둘러싸는 재킷을 구비하는 통신 케이블에 있어서, 세로로 연장하는 방수성 테이프는 상기 코어와 상기 재킷 사이에서 상기 코어를 둘러싸고 있는 기판 테이프를 구비하며, 상기 테이프는 상기 코어내로 습기가 침입하여 케이블을 따라 세로로 이동하는 것을 방지하기 위하여 습기와의 접촉으로 팽창된 방수성 물질로 포화되며, 테이프의 장력 강도를 최적화하도록 제어된 두께 및 포화되기전에는 비교적 높은 다공성을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 케이블.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기판 테이프는 비직조된 물질을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 케이블.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 기판 테이프는 비교적 적은 두께를 가지며, 임의로 배열되고, 높게 산포되며 필라멘트 접합에서 결합되어지는 연속 필라멘트 폴리에스터 섬유를 구비하는 섬유 결합된 폴리에스터 물질인 것을 특징으로 하는 케이블.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 테이프는 물과 초흡수성 물질을 구비한 혼합물로 포화되며, 상기 혼합물은 고체 중량의 약 4 내지 7%를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 케이블.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 방수성 물질은 아크릴산 및 나트륨 아크릴레이트를 포함하는 아크릴레이트 중합체를 구비하는 막인 것을 특징으로 하는 케이블.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 포화 테이프는 제곱 야드당 약 1.1 내지 1.8온스인 단위 무게를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 케이블.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 기판 테이프는 밀도를 가지며 포화 테이프의 밀도는 기판 테이프의 밀도보다 약 10 내지 80% 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 케이블.
- 제1항에 있어서, 포화전의 상기 테이프의 높은 다공성은 124Pa에서 약 3.5 내지 5.1㎥/㎡.S의 범위내에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 케이블.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방수성 물질은 (a) 폴리아크릴산 (b) 폴리아크릴아미드 (c) (a) 및 (b)의 혼합물 (d) (a) 및 (b)의 염 (e) (a) 및 (b)의 공중합체로 구성되는 그룹에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 케이블.
- 방수성 테이프로서, 비교적 높은 장력 및 비교적 높은 다공성을 갖는 기판 테이프 및, 상기 초흡수성 물질로 포화된 상기 기판 테이프가 비교적 낮은 다공성을 갖도록 실제로 세포를 채우기 위해 상기 기판 테이프를 포화하는 초흡수성 물질을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방수성 테이프.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
