Claims (8)

  1. 메인 하우징 및 이 하우징 내부에 포함된 컴퓨터를 포함하는 컴퓨터 메인 유니트, 및 확장 유니트 하우징 및 이 확장 유니트 하우징내에 포함된 주변 장치를 포함하는 확장 유니트로 구성되고, 메인 유니트가 주변 장치가 컴퓨터와 상호동작 관계로 동작하기 위해서 억세스되어야 하는 컴퓨터내의 신호 통로에 전기접속을 제공하기 위한 메인 유니트 콘넥터를 포함하며, 메인 하우징이 다수의 위치설정 리세스를 형성하는 저부벽 및 위치설정 핀을 위치설정 리세스내로 안내하도록 위치설정 리세스에 집중되는 관련 안내 표면들을 포함하고, 메인 유니트 하우징이 확장 유니트상의 래치들에 의해 포획되기에 적합한 다수의 캐치 표면을 형성하며, 확장 유니트가 주변 장치에 전기적으로 접속되고 주변 장치와 이 주변 장치가 상호동작 관계로 동작하기 위해서 접속되어야 하는 컴퓨터의 신호 통로 사이에 전기 통신을 제공하도록 메인 유니트 콘넥터와 동작적으로 결합하기에 적합한 확장 유니트 콘넥터를 포함하고, 확장 하우징이 수평 표면 상에 놓이기에 적합한 저부표면 및 메인 유니트를 지지하기에 적합한 상부표면을 갖고 있고 각각의 위치설정 리세스와 관련되고 장착 핀들이 관련 위치설정 리세스와 관련된 안내 표면들과 동시에 접촉할때 안내 표면들이 정합 콘넥터가 메인 유니트 콘넥터와 동작적으로 결합되는 위치내로 확장 유니트를 안내하도록 배치된 장착 핀을 형성하며, 확장 유니트가 메인 유니트가 확장 유니트상에 놓여질때 메인 유니트 하우징의 캐치 표면을 포획하여 확장 유니트를 메인 유니트에 고착시키기에 적합한 다수의 래치들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 어셈블리.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 확장 유니트 콘넥터가 확장 유니트 하우징에 관련하여 제한된 거리를 자유롭게 이동하고, 저부벽이 메인 유니트 콘넥터에 억세스를 제공하는 콘넥터 개구를 정하고 정합 콘넥터를 메인 유니트 콘넥터와 동작적으로 결합 상내로 안내하도록 형성되어 있는 콘넥터 안내 표면을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 어셈블리.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 래치들이 캐치 표면을 포획한 후에 유니트들을 분리시키기 위해 사용자에 의해 해제될 수 있고, 확장 유니트가 메인 유니트를 누르도록 배치된 스프링을 포함하므로 스프링이 확장 유니트가 메인 유니트를 지지할 때 메인 유니트와 확장 유니트를 분리시키는 힘을 내보내어 래치들이 해제될 때 스프링이 유니트들을 분리시키는 것을 돕는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 어셈블리.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 스프링 힘이 래치들이 해제될 대 메인 유니트인 최소한 일부분을 모든 래치들이 캐치 표면을 포획했을 때 가정된 위치 밖으로 들어 올리고, 메인 유니트 및 확장 유니트 콘넥터들을 분리시키기에 충분히 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 어셈블리.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 래치들 중 최소한 한개의 쌍안정 래치가 메인 유니트를 확장 유니트에 고착시키는 안정 캐치 위치 및 메인 유니트가 확장 유니트로부터 제거되게 하는 안정 해제 위치를 갖도록 스프링-장하되므로, 쌍안정 래치가 사용자가 해제 위치로 동작시킬때 해제 위치에 유지되므로 사용자가 쌍안정 래치 개방을 취하지 않고서 메인 유니트를 제거할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 어셈블리.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 메인 하우징이 메인 유니트가 확장 유니트로부터 제거될 때 쌍안정 래치를 안정 캐치 위치로 복귀시키도록 쌍안정 래치가 해제 위치에 있고 메인 하우징이 확장 하우징으로부터 제거될 때 쌍안정 래치를 누르는 복귀 표면을 갖고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 어셈블리.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 메인 하우징이 메인 유니트가 확장 유니트상에 놓여질 때 쌍안정 래치를 안정 캐치 위치로 복귀시키도록 쌍안정 래치가 해제 위치에 있고 메인 하우징이 확장 하우징상에 놓여질 때 쌍안정 래치를 누르는 제2 복귀 표면을 갖고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 어셈블리.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 메인 유니트가 전원 플러그가 전력을 컴퓨터에 공급하도록 삽입되는 전원 소켓을포함하고, 확장 유니트가 메인 유니트가 확장 유니트상에 놓여지거나 이 확장 유니트로부터 제거될 때, 전원 플러그가 전원 소켓내로 삽입될 때 전원 플러그가 가정하는 위치를 통과하지만 메인 유니트가 확장 유니트상에 래치될 때 전원 플러그를 전원 소켓내로 연장시킬 수 있는 개구를 형성하는 인터록크 부재를 포함하므로, 전원 플러그가 전원 소켓내로 플러그되는 동안 인터록크 부재가 메인 유니트가 확장 유니트상에 놓여지거나 이 확장 유니트로부터 제거되지 못하게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 어셈블리.
