제1도는 4, 4' 디크로로벤조페논, 황화나트륨(Na2S) 및 N-메틸- 2- 피롤리돈(NMP)를 포함하는 반응혼합물내에서 이황화나트륨(황화수소나트륨)(NaSH) 소량을 사용하여 축합중합 반응에서 제조된 폴리(페닐렌 설파이드 케톤)의 고유점도를 나타낸 그래프이다.

Claims (12)

  1. 폴리(아릴렌 설파이드)케톤 제조를 위한 효과적인 중합화 조건하에, 반응 혼합물 속에서(a) 하나의 폴리할로벤조페논과 최소한 하나의 하기(b) 또는 (c), 즉, (b) 최소한 하나의 알칼리 금속 황화물 및 최소한 하나의 알칼리 금속 하이드로 설파이드, 또는 (c) 최소한 하나의 알칼리 금속 수산화물 및 최소한 하나의 알칼리 금속 하이드로 설파이드를, 폴리할로벤조페논에 대한 알칼리 금속 하이드로 설파이드의 몰 비율을 약 1.004:1 내지 1.038:1로 사용하여 접촉시키는 것으로 이루어진 폴리(아릴렌 설파이드 케톤)의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 폴리할로벤조페논이 디할로벤조페논을 포함하고, 그 반응 혼합물이 극성 반응매체를 포함하는 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기의 폴리할로벤조페논, 알칼리 금속 수산화물 및 알칼리 금속 황화물의 각각에 대해 약 1.01:1 내지 1.035:1의 비율인 알칼리 금속 하이드로 설파이드를 사용하는 방법.
  4. 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 디할로벤조페논이 4, 4' 디클로로벤조페논을 포함하고 극성 반응매체가 N-메틸-2-피롤리돈을 포함하는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 폴리(아릴렌 설파이드 케톤)이 다음 구조식의 반복단위로 표현되는 방법:
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 폴리(아릴렌 설파이드 케톤)이 폴리(페닐렌 설파이드 케톤)을 포함하는 방법.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 폴리(페닐렌 설파이드 케톤)이 농축된 H2SO4내 0.5중량% 용액을 사용하여 #200 점도계로 30℃에서 측정된 최소한 약 0.48의 고유점도를 나타내는 방법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 폴리(페닐렌 설파이드 케톤)이 약 0.55 내지 약 0.77의 고유점도를 나타내는 방법.
  9. 제1항 또는 제6항에 있어서, 상기 알칼리 금속 하이드로 설파이드가 황화수소나트륨이고, 상기 알칼리 금속 수산화물이 수산화나트륨인, 상기 (c)를 사용하는 방법.
  10. 제1항 또는 제6항에 있어서, 알칼리 금속 하이드로 설파이드가 알칼리 금속 황화물보다 약 1.004:1 내지 약 1.038:1의 화학양론적 초과량으로 존재하는 상기 (b)를 사용한 방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 약 1.01:1 내지 약 1.035:1의 몰비율로 알칼리 금속 하이드로 설파이드의 알칼리 금속 황화물을 사용하는 방법.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 중합화 조건이 약 175℃ 내지 약 360℃인 온도, 약 0psig 내지 200psig인 압력, 및 약 1시간 내지 약 72시간의 반응시간을 포함하는방법.
