Claims (6)
- 두 지지판 사이에 위치한 전기광학 표시 매체, 행과 열로 배열되며 상호면한 지지판의 표면상에 제공된 두 개의 화상 전극으로 형성되는 화상 소자 시스템, 한 지지판상에 제공되는 행 전극과 다른 지지판상에 제공되는 열 전극으로 구성되며 화상 소자를 구동시키는 행 및 열 전극 시스템을 구비하는 표시장치에 있어서, 열 전극과 두 개의 연속적인 행 전극사이의 각 화상 소자와 직렬로, 비대칭적으로 비선형인 스위칭 소자는 화상 소자와 각각의 행 전극 사이에 제공되며, 열에서 열 전극에 접속된 두 개의 연소적인 화상 소자는 비대칭적으로 비선형인 스위칭 소자를 통하여 공통 행 전극에 접속되며, 스위칭 소자는 공통 행 전극으로부터 동일 방향으로 바이어스되는 두 개의 연속적인 화상 소자와 연관된 다른 열 전극으로 관찰되는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 두 개의 연속적인 공통 행 전극은 연속적인 공통 행 전극사이에 접속된 화상 소자와 연관된 비대칭적으로 비선형인 스위칭 소자와 반대의 극성으로 직렬로 접속되어 있는 부가적으로 제공된 비대칭적으로 비선형인 스위칭 소자를 통하여 공통점에 접속되며, 동일 극성을 갖는 다수의 비대칭적으로 비선형인 스위칭 소자의 적어도 하나의 직렬장치는 화상 소자와 연관된 직렬 접속된 비대칭적으로 비선형인 스위칭 소자와 부가적인 비대칭적으로 비선형인 스위칭 소자에 역평행하게 접속되는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
- 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 비대칭적으로 비선형인 스위칭 소자는 다이오드인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
- 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 전기광학 표시 매체는 액정인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
- 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 전기광학 표시 매체는 전기이동 현탁액인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
