제3도 내지 제5도는 본원발명의 일실시예인 쌍드럼식 연속주조기를 나타낸 것으로서, 제3도는 평면도.

Claims (6)

  1. 2개의 회전하는 드럼의 양 끝부분에 사이드댐(side dam)을 배설하여 이들 드럼과 사이드댐 사이에 용강(溶鋼)의 푸울(pool)을 형성하고, 상기 각 드럼을 서로 대향하는 방향으로 회전시키면서 이 푸울내의 용강을 냉각하여 이 드럼의 표면측에 형성된 용강의 응고각을 양드럼간의 가장 좁은 틈새 부분에 서로 압착하여 박판을 제조하는 쌍드럼식 연속 주조기에 있어서, 상기 사이드댐은 용강을 저장하는 내화물과, 이 내화물을 지지하는 금속부재로 그성하며, 상기 내화물을 금속부재에서 용강쪽으로 돌출시키는 동시에 이 내화물의 하단부가 양 드럼간의 가장 좁은 틈새부분 보다도 윗쪽에 위치하는 용강 응고각의 압연개시점 근방에 존재하도록 상기내화물을 배설한 것을 특징으로 하는 쌍드럼식 연속 주조기.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 사이드댐은 이 금속부재를 상기드럼의 동체단면으로 누르는 가압장치가 구비되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 쌍드럼식 연속 주조기.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기드럼은 드럼축방향으로 이동 가능하게 구성되어 있으며, 상기 사이드댐은 금속부재를 최소한 한쪽의 드럼동체부에 대해서 미끄러져 움직이면서 접촉하도록 배설되는 동시에, 이 금속부재를 드럼동체부에 누르는 제2의 가압장치가 구비되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 쌍드럼식 연속주조기.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기드럼은 드럼축방향으로 이동 가능하게 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 쌍드럼식 연속 주조기.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 사이드댐을 구성하는 내화물의 돌출량은 제조되는 박판 두께의 1∼2부 정도로 형성한 것을 특징으로 하는 쌍드럼식 연속 주조기.
  6. 제1항 또는 제5항에 있어서, 양 드럼간의 가장 좁은 틈새 부분을 기준으로 하여 상기 사이드댐을 구성하는 내화물의 하단부의 위치가, 드럼반경의 평방근의 2∼4배의 범위로 설정한 것을 특징으로 하는 쌍드럼식 연속 주조기.
