Claims (5)
- 두 전극들의 유니트에서 평행하게 인접하여 배열된 복수개의 표시전극쌍들과 이 표시전극쌍들과 교차하는 그런한 방향으로 절연체로서 배열된 복수개의 선택전극들을 갖고있는 전극지지기판과, 상기 전극지지기판의 상부에 특정된 가스 충전공간을 한정해주는 그러한 식으로 배열되는 것으로 상기 표시전극쌍들중 한 표시전극들과 선택전극들간의 교차점들에 한정된 선택셀들과 상기 선택셀들에 인접한 쌍으로된 표시전극들간에 한정된 표시셀들이 조합하여 하나의 매트릭스 형상으로 배열된 각각의 표시점들을 구성하는 덮개 기판을 구비하되, 벽전하의 발생에 의해 추종되는 방전은 선택될 한쌍의 표시전극들 양단의 방전 시동전압을 초과하는 점화 전압을 인가함으로써 영구표시전극들을 따라 한라인의 모든 방전셀들에서 한번 발생되며 그후 전압이 점라인상에서 영구적으로 표시될 점들을 제외하고 점들중 선택셀들을 형성하는 선택전극들에 선택적으로 인가되어 그에 의해 영구 선택셀과 한쌍을 이루는 표시셀의 벽전하가 소멸된 다음 나머지 표시셀들이 상기 표시전극쌍 양단에 AC유지전압을 인가함으로써 방전되는 것이 특징인 가스방전 판넬구동방법.
- 제1항에서, 상기 표시셀들에 인가될 유지전압파형은 상기 선택셀들을 형성하는 한 표시전극에 인가될 높은 진폭을 갖는 유지전압과 다른 표시전극에 인가될 낮은 진폭을 갖는 유지전압의 비대칭 합성파형으로 인가되는 것이 특징인 가스방전 판넬 구동방법.
- 제1또는 2항에서, 선택될 상기 점라인들의 모든 표시셀들에 방전을 발생시키기 위한 동작이 사전점둥라인 주사용 점라인들에 순서적으로 인가되며, 이 사전점둥라인주사는 선택동작이 상기 원치않는 점들의 선택셀들에 인가되는 점라인보다 적어도 하나의 점라인앞서 수행되는 것이 특징인가스방전판넬 구동방법.
- 가스밀봉공간을 특정화하는 한 기판상의 두 전극들로 한쌍을 이루는 평행하게 인접하여 배열된 다수의 표시 전극쌍들과, 이 표시전극들을 가로지르는 방향으로 절연시켜 배열되며 각쌍의 한 표시전극들이 한 그룹으로 고려되는 다수의 인접한 표시전극쌍들과 공통으로 연결되어 있고 각쌍의 다른 표시전극들은 각 그룹내에서 동일한 순서의 표시전극쌍과 공통으로 연결되어 있는 그러한 전극구조을 제공하는 다수의 선택전극들을 포함하는 가스방전 판넬 구동방법에 있어서, 선택된 쌍의 표시전극들 양단의 점둥전압을 인가하여 한 표시셀라인을 점둥시키고, 선택된 선택전극과 상기 다른 표시전극 양단에 선택전압을 인가하고 상기표시 전극쌍에 AC유지전압을 인가하여 나머니 표시셀들을 제방전하여 상기 점둥된 표시셀중 원치않는 표시셀에 기억된 방전정보를 소거하는 것을 포함하는 것이 특징인 가스방전판넬 구동방법.
- 두 전극들로 한쌍을 이루어 평행하게 인접하여 배치된 다수의 표시전극쌍과 이 표시전극들을 가로지르는 방향으로 절연체를 통하여 배치된 다수의 선택전극들이 가스충전공간을 특정해주는 한 기판상에 제공되어 있고, 선택전극들을 가로지르는 지점들에 인접한 쌍으로된 표시전극들은 다수의 표시셀들을 형성하며, 그리고 각각의 인접한 전극쌍들의 한표시전극은 적어도 한 블록에 공통으로 연결되어 한편 상기 블록내의 각 전극쌍들의 다른 표시전극은 개별적으로 동작될 수 있는 전극형태를 갖되, 공통으로 연결된 상기 표시전극블록에 속하는 모든 표시셀들을 점등시키기 위한 동작후 공통으로 연결된 상기 표시전극들과 선택된 선택전극에 의해 형성된 선택된 라인들상의 모든 선택셀들로 방전을 발생시키기 위한 동작이 된다음 상기 선택방전을 위한 동작에 뒤를이어 관련된 선택된 라인상에 표시될 표시셀들을 형성하는 표시전극 쌍들에만 유지전압을 선택적으로 인가하기 위한 둥작이 상기 표시전극쌍 블록의 각선택된 라인에 대해 순서적으로 수해되는 것이 특징인 가스방전판넬 구동방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
