Abstract

본 발명은 크루즈 컨트롤 작동 시, 내비게이션 정밀 지도(ADAS Map) 정보를 이용하여 실 도로 연비 및 운전 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 크루즈 컨트롤 시스템 및 이를 포함하는 차량, 크루즈 컨트롤 시스템의 제어방법을 제안한다.
이를 위해 본 발명의 일 측면에 의한 크루즈 컨트롤 시스템 및 이를 포함하는 차량, 크루즈 컨트롤 시스템의 제어방법에 의하면, 유효 내리막 구배 뿐만 아니라 실제 모든 구배 변화(오르막/내리막 구배 및 감속/가속 구간) 도로에서 연속적으로 주행 차속 및 요구 구동력 변화를 예측하여 제어 목표 차속을 가변함으로써 기존 대비 실 도로 연비 성능을 크게 향상시킬 수 있으며, 차량의 운동 에너지를 최대한 이용하여 불필요한 가/감속을 방지하여 운전 성능을 향상시킬 수 있게 된다. 또한, 구배 변화가 큰 도로에서 운전자가 의도하지 않은 가/감속에 의한 크루즈 컨트롤의 작동 해제를 미연에 방지하고, 구배 변화가 잦은 도로에서 운전자가 의도하지 않은 가/감속에 의한 사용 이질감을 방지하여 운전자의 불편을 감소하고 고객의 만족도를 향상시킬 수 있게 된다.
