Abstract

본 발명에 의한 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 시스템은, 차량 시동 오프 시에 복원로직을 이용하여 조향휠의 조향각을 중립으로 도모하는 EPS와, 상기 EPS에 의해 중립된 조향휠을 조향축 방향으로 병진 운동을 도모하는 ETTS와, 상기 ETTS에 의해 병진 운동하는 조향휠을 구속하는 조향 구속부를 포함하는 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 시스템을 제공하고, 한편 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 제어방법은, 운전자로 하여금 주행하는 차량을 정차시켜 파킹시키는 차량의 파킹 단계와, 운전자로 하여금 정차되어 파킹된 차량의 점화장치를 점멸시키는 점화장치의 점멸 단계와, EPS로 하여금 조향휠의 중립을 조정시키는 조향휠의 중립 단계와, 중립된 조향휠을 ETTS으로 하여금 조향 구속부의 대시보드 방향으로 병진 운동시켜 운전자의 위치에서 후퇴되는 조향휠을 상기 대시보드의 구속블록 사이에 형성된 요홈에 구속시키는 조향휠의 구속 단계와, 차량의 전원을 소멸시키는 차량의 전원 오프 단계를 포함하는 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 제어방법을 제공한다.

Description

도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 시스템 및 제어방법{The Steering System For Vehicle Comprising Anti-Theft Structure And the Control Method Thereof}
본 발명은 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 시스템 및 제어방법에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는, 차량 파킹 시에 EPS(Electric Power Steering, 전동 조향장치) 및 ETTS(Electric Tilt & Telescopic System, 전동 틸트 텔레스장치)와 연계하여 조향휠을 조향 구속부에 구속시키고, 차량 운행 시에 상기 조향휠을 조향 구속부로부터 구속 해제시키는 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 시스템 및 제어방법에 관한 것이다.
일반적으로 차량의 조향 장치에 있어, EPS(Electric Power Steering, 전동 조향장치), ETTS(Electric Tilt & Telescopic System, 전동 틸트 텔레스장치), Keyset mechanism(키셋 메커니즘) 등이 마련된다.
상기 EPS는 운전자의 조향력을 모터구동으로 도와 조향을 쉽게 하며 자동 주차 등을 가능하게 하고, 상기 ETTS는 운전자의 신체 규격에 따라 운전의 편리함을 위해 버튼을 이용하여 조향휠 컬럼을 전동에 의한 상하전후방으로 조정하며, 상기 Keyset mechanism은 차량 시동 off 시, 조향휠 컬럼을 구속하여 조향이 불가능하게 만들어 차량도난을 방지한다.
한편, 선행기술로서, 한국등록특허 제0962804호(특허문헌 1) 및 일본공개특허 제2004-231000호(특허문헌 2)가 개시된 바 있다.
상기 특허문헌 1은, 전동파워스티어링 자동차의 스티어링컬럼 틸트 및 텔레스코픽 장치에 관한 것으로, 스위치가 상(up) 및 우(out) 방향으로 조작되면 MDPS-모터를 정방향으로 작동시켜 가이드블록을 밀어주고, 스위치가 하(down) 및 좌(in) 방향으로 조작되면 MDPS-모터를 역방향으로 작동시켜 가이드블록을 당겨주는 것을 특징으로 한다.
상기 특허문헌 2는, 차량 도난 방지 장치로서, 차량으로부터 멀어질 때, 스티어링은 스테어링 휠을 최하 위치에 틸트 해, 축방향에 최장이 되듯이 슬라이드 시키고, 운전석은 맨 앞부분에 슬라이드 시켜 시트 쿠션으로 시트 백이 스테어링 휠에 접촉되게 함으로써 사람의 착석을 불가능하게 만들고, 시트용 락 유지 수단과 스티어링용 락 유지 수단을 상호 잠금토록 하여 차량의 도난을 방지하게 된다.
상기 특허문헌 1의 경우, 운전자의 스위치 조작으로 조향휠이 틸트되도록 하여, 전동파워스티어링 시스템이 적용된 차량에서 MDPS-모터를 이용한 틸트 및 텔레스코픽 작동이 가능하게 되므로 틸트 및 텔레스코픽 작동을 위한 별도의 모터들을 구비할 필요가 사라져 중량 및 원가를 절감하며, 소형 차량에도 상기 MDPS-모터의 설치 공간을 확보하는 데는 문제가 없어 레이아웃 상의 간섭 문제없이 소형 차량에도 전동 틸트 및 텔레스코픽 장치를 설치할 수 있는 효과는 있지만, 차량 도난을 방지할 수 없는 문제점을 갖는다.
상기 특허문헌 2의 경우에 스테어링 휠을 최하 위치에 틸트 해, 축방향에 최장이 되도록 슬라이드 시키고, 운전석은 맨 앞으로 슬라이드 시켜, 시트 쿠션으로 시트 백이 스테어링 휠에 접촉하도록 해 사람의 착석 불능으로 차량 도난 방지를 구현하지만, 운전석의 착석 자체가 불가함으로 다시 차량을 운행할 목적으로 운전석에 탑승해야 할 경우에, 이러한 착석 불가능한 점을 운전자가 차량 외부에서 조작하여 해결해야 하는 불편함이 있다.

전술된 문제점을 해소함에 있어, 본 발명에 의한 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 시스템 및 제어방법은, 차량 파킹 시 차량 시동을 오프시킬 경우에 조향휠을 구속함이 목적이고, 한편 차량 주행 시 차량 시동을 켤 경우에 조향휠의 구속을 해제함이 목적이다.
전술된 목적을 달성함에 있어, 본 발명에 의한 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 시스템은, 차량 시동 오프 시에 복원 로직을 이용하여 조향휠의 조향각을 중립으로 도모하는 EPS와, 상기 EPS에 의해 중립된 조향휠을 조향축 방향으로 병진 운동을 도모하는 ETTS와, 상기 ETTS에 의해 병진 운동하는 조향휠을 구속하는 조향 구속부를 포함하게 되는 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 시스템임을 특징으로 한다.
상기 조향 구속부는, ETTP 지시에 의해 병진 운동하는 조향휠을 구속하는 조향휠 후방에 마련된 대시보드인 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 시스템임을 특징으로 한다.
상기 대시보드는, ETTP 지시에 의해 병진 운동하는 조향휠을 구속하기 위해 전면에서 상호 이격된 채 대향을 이루며 조향휠의 조향각을 구속하는 한 쌍의 구속블록과, 상기 한 쌍의 구속블록 사이에 형성되어 ETTP 지시에 의해 병진 운동하는 조향휠을 삽입되게 하는 요홈을 포함하여 구성되는 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 시스템임을 특징으로 한다.

상기 조향휠의 중립 단계는, 파킹된 차량의 조향휠이 중립으로 조정된 상태인지 중립 조정되지 아니한 상태인지를 확인하는 조향휠의 중립 유무를 체크하는 단계와, EPS로 하여금 중립 조정되지 아니한 조향휠을 탐지하는 조향휠의 조향각을 탐지하는 단계와, EPS로 하여금 중립 조정되지 아니한 조향휠을 자동으로 보정하여 중립 조정하는 조향휠의 비중립 상태를 중립으로 보정하는 단계를 더 포함하게 되는 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 제어방법임을 특징으로 한다.
아울러, 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 제어방법에 있어서, 차량 주행 시의 제어방법은, 자동차의 전원 인가와 아울러 점멸장치를 점화시키는 차량의 파워를 인가하는 단계와, EPS 및 ETTS의 전원 모두를 인가시키는 EPS 및 ETTS의 파워를 인가하는 단계와, 구속된 상태의 조향휠을 ETTS로 하여금 조향 구속부의 대시보드에 형성된 구속블록의 요홈으로부터 운전자의 방향으로 병렬 운동을 이루도록 전진시켜 조향휠의 구속을 해제시키는 조향휠의 구속을 해제하는 단계를 포함하게 되는 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 제어방법임을 특징으로 한다.
상술된 바와 같이, 본 발명에 의한 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 시스템 및 제어방법은, 차량의 파킹 시에 조향휠을 구속함에 따라 차량의 도난을 방지할 수 있으며, 차량 운행 시에는 조향휠의 구속을 해제함에 따라 차량 운행이 가능한 환경을 조성할 수 있고, 아울러 기존의 키셋(Keyset), 잠금링(Lock ring), 유격 슬리브(Tolerance sleeve)등의 하드웨어(H/W)적인 차량 도난 방지 구성품의 생략이 가능함에 따라 부품 수 절감 및 제작 원가를 줄이고 운전자 위치에서 조향휠이 후퇴함에 따라 운전자의 탑승 및 하차에 편리함을 제공할 수 있다.

본 발명에 있어 첨부된 도면은 설명의 명료성과 편의를 위해 과장되어 도시됨을 밝히고, 실시 예는 본 발명의 권리범위를 한정하는 것이 아니라 본 발명의 청구범위에 제시된 구성요소의 예시적 사항에 불과하며, 본 발명의 명세서 전반에 걸친 기술적 사상을 토대로 해석되어야 한다.
본 발명은 EPS(전동 조향장치)와 ETTS(전동 틸트 텔레스장치)를 사용하는 조향 시스템에서, 차량 시동 오프 시, EPS의 복원 로직을 사용하여 조향휠을 중립으로 자동 보정하고, ETTS를 구동하여 조향휠을 병진 운동(Teles in)시킴으로써 조향휠이 조향 구속부에 구속되어 차량의 도난을 방지하고, 차량 시동 시에는 ETTS로 하여금 다시 조향휠을 병진 운동(Teles out)시킴으로써 조향휠이 조향 구속부에서 구속이 해제됨에 따라 조향 가능한 환경을 도모하여 차량이 주행될 수 있음을 특징으로 한다.
이하, 첨부된 도면을 참고로 본 발명을 상세히 설명하기로 한다.
본 발명에 의한 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 시스템은, 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이, 차량 시동 오프 시에 복원 로직을 이용하여 조향휠(40)의 조향각을 중립으로 도모하는 EPS(10)와, 상기 EPS(10)에 의해 중립된 조향휠(40)을 조향축 방향으로 병진 운동을 도모하는 ETTS(20)와, 상기 ETTS(20)에 의해 병진 운동하는 조향휠(40)을 구속하는 조향 구속부(30)를 포함한다.
상기 EPS(Electric Power Steering, 10)은 운전자의 조향력을 모터구동으로 도와 조향을 용이하게 하며 자동 주차 등을 가능토록 하는 역할을 수행하는 장치이다.
상기 ETTS(Electric Tilt & Telescopic System)은 운전자의 체격 조건에 따라 버턴을 사용하여 조향휠 컬럼을 전동으로 편한 위치에 이동시키며 상하, 전후로 조정하는 역할을 수행하는 장치이다.
상기 조향 구속부(30)는, 도 2 내지 도 3에서와 같이, 조향휠(40)의 전방에 위치하여 각종 계기들이 마련된 상태로 운전자에게 운전에 필요한 정보를 알려주는 대시보드(31)이다.
이러한 상기 대시보드(31)는 상호 이격된 형태로 대향된 한 쌍의 구속블록(31a)을 돌출 형성하며, 상기 구속블록(31a) 사이에 요홈(31b)을 형성하게 된다.
이와 같은 상기 대시보드(31)는 조향휠(40)을 구속하는 바, 조향휠(40)의 구속에 대한 작동을 하기에서 후술하기로 한다.
차량이 정차한 후 파킹될 경우, 차량 시동을 오프하게 되는데, 이 과정에서 도 2 내지 도 3에서와 같이, 상기 EPS(10)는 모터 구동에 의해 조향휠(40)을 자동으로 중립에 조정하게 된다.
중립 조정된 상기 조향휠(40)은 상기 ETTS(20)에 의해 조향축이 운전자의 위치에서 후퇴하는 즉, 대시보드(31)의 방향으로 병진 운동을 하다가 상기 대시보드(31)의 구속블록(31a) 사이에 형성된 요홈(31b)으로 조향휠(40)의 살대가 삽입되면서 상기 구속블록(31a)에 의해 상기 조향휠(40)의 구속이 이루어진다.
이때, 조향휠(40)의 틸트(Tilt) 중립은 필요없다. 즉, 조향휠(40)의 틸트 조정은 운전자의 신체적 규격에 따라 편리한 운전 환경을 도모하기 위하여 조향휠(40)을 상하로 조정할 때에만 적용된다.
하기에서는 본 발명에 의한 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 제어방법에 관하여 설명하기로 한다.
후술되는 도난방지 제어방법 중 먼저, 차량의 파킹 시에 대한 제어방법을 도 4 내지 도 5를 참고로 하여 설명한다.
차량의 파킹 단계(100)
상기 단계(100)에서는, 운전자로 하여금 주행하는 차량을 정차시켜 차량을 파킹시킨다.
점화장치의 점멸 단계(110)
상기 단계(110)에서는, 운전자로 하여금 정차되어 파킹된 차량의 점화장치에 대한 점멸을 수행한다.
조향휠의 중립 단계(120)
상기 단계(120)는, 도 5에서와 같이, 조향휠의 중립 유무를 체크하는 단계(121)와, 조향휠의 조향각을 탐지하는 단계(122)와, 조향휠의 비중립 상태를 중립으로 보정하는 단계(123)을 포함한다.
상기 조향휠의 중립 단계(120)에 있어, 상기 조향휠의 중립 유무를 체크하는 단계(121)에서는, 파킹된 차량의 조향휠(40)이 중립으로 조정되어 있지 않은 상태를 확인하는 단계로서, 조향휠(40)의 중립이 조정되어 있지 않으면, 후술되는 조향휠의 조향각을 탐지하는 단계(122)를 수행하게 된다.
상기 조향휠의 조향각을 탐지하는 단계(122)에서는, EPS(10)으로 하여금 조향휠(40)의 조향각이 중립 상태인지 아님 중립되지 않은 상태인지를 탐지하여, 조향휠(40)의 조향각이 중립 상태가 아닐 경우에 후술되는 조향휠의 비중립 상태를 중립으로 보정하는 단계 (123)를 수행하게 된다.
상기 조향휠의 비중립 상태를 중립으로 보정하는 단계(123)에서는, 중립 상태가 아닌 조향휠(40)을 EPS(10)으로 하여금 자동으로 조정하여 조향휠(40)의 조향각 중립을 이루도록 한다.
조향휠의 구속 단계(130)
상기 단계(130)에서는, 중립된 조향휠(40)을 ETTS(20)으로 하여금, 조향 구속부(30)의 대시보드(31)로 병진 운동을 이루도록 운전자의 위치에서 후퇴시켜 상기 대시보드(31)의 구속블록(31a) 사이에 형성된 요홈(31b)에 진입 삽입시킴으로써, 조향휠(40)의 구속을 수행하게 된다.
차량의 전원 오프 단계(140)
조향휠(40)의 구속으로 차량의 모든 전원이 점멸되어 오프됨으로써 차량 파킹 시의 조향휠(40) 구속에 대한 제어를 완료하게 된다.
하기에서는 본 발명에 의한 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 제어방법 중 차량의 주행 시에 대한 제어방법을 도 6을 참고로 하여 설명한다.
차량의 파워를 인가하는 단계(200)
상기 단계(200)에서는, 자동차의 전원 인가와 아울러 점멸장치의 점화를 수행하게 된다.
EPS 및 ETTS의 파워를 인가하는 단계(210)
상기 단계(210)에서는, EPS(10) 및 ETTS(20)의 전원 모두를 인가하게 된다.
조향휠의 구속을 해제하는 단계(220)
상기 단계(210)에서는, 구속된 상태의 조향휠(40)을 ETTS(20)로 하여금, 조향 구속부(30)의 대시보드(31)에 형성된 구속블록(31a)의 요홈(31b)으로부터 운전자의 방향으로 병렬 운동을 이루도록 전진시켜 조향휠(40)의 구속을 해제함으로써 차량의 주행 가능한 환경을 도모함으로써, 차량 주행 시의 조향휠 구속 해제에 대한 제어를 완료하게 된다.
하기에서는, 본 발명에 의한 도난방지 제어를 위한 도 7에 도시된 플로우 챠트를 참고로 설명한다.
운전자로 하여금 차량을 정지시켜 파킹하는 과정(S1)을 수행한다.
상기 과정(S1) 이후에, 운전자로 하여금 차량의 점화장치를 점멸시키는 과정(S2)을 수행한다.
상기 과정(S2) 이후에, 조향휠의 중립 유무를 체크하는 과정(S3)을 수행하게 되는데, 이 과정(S3)에서 조향휠(40)이 중립되지 않은 위치에 있을 경우, 후술되는 EPS의 조향각 탐지하는 과정(S3-1)을 수행한다.
상기 과정(S3-1)에서는, EPS(10)로 하여금 조향휠(40)의 조향각 비중립 상태를 탐지하게 된다.
상기 과정(S3-1) 이후에, EPS 지시에 의한 조향휠의 중립 보정하는 과정(S4)을 수행한다. 상기 과정(S4)은 비중립 상태의 조향휠(40)의 조향각을 중립 상태가 되도록 EPS(10)로 하여금 비중립 상태의 조향휠(40)을 모터 작동에 의해 중립으로 자동 보정하게 된다.
상기 과정(S4) 이후에, ETTS 지시에 의한 조향휠 구속하는 과정(S5)을 수행한다. 상기 과정(S5)은 중립된 조향휠(40)을 ETTS(20)의 지시로 구속하는 바, 중립으로 보정된 조향휠(40)을 ETTS(20) 지시에 의해 조향 구속부(30)의 대시보드(31) 방향으로 모터 작동에 의해 병진 운동시킴에 따라 조향휠(40)이 조향축 방향으로 상기 대시보드(31)에 형성된 구속블록(31a) 사이의 요홈(31b)에 진입되면서 삽입되어 조향휠(40)을 구속한다.
상기 과정(S5) 이후에, 자동차 전원을 오프시키는 과정(S6)을 수행하게 되면서 차량 파킹 시의 조향휠(40) 구속에 대한 제어를 완료하게 된다.
이상과 같은 본 발명에 의한 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 시스템 및 제어방법에 따르면, 차량의 파킹 시에 조향휠을 구속함에 따라 차량의 도난을 방지할 수 있으며, 차량 운행 시에는 조향휠의 구속을 해제함에 따라 차량 운행이 가능한 환경을 조성할 수 있다. 아울러, 기존의 키셋(Keyset), 잠금링(Lock ring), 유격 슬리브(Tolerance sleeve)등의 하드웨어(H/W)적인 차량 도난 방지 구성품의 생략이 가능함에 따라 부품 수 절감 및 제작 원가를 줄일 수 있는 한편, 운전자 위치에서 조향휠이 후퇴함에 따라 운전자의 탑승 및 하차에 편리함을 제공할 수 있다.

Claims (6)

  1. 차량 시동 오프 시에 복원 로직을 이용하여 조향휠의 조향각을 중립으로 도모하는 EPS;
    상기 EPS에 의해 중립된 조향휠을 병진 운동으로 도모하는 ETTS;
    상기 ETTS에 의해 병진 운동하는 조향휠을 구속하는 조향 구속부;
    를 포함하게 됨을 특징으로 하는 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 시스템.
  2. 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 조향 구속부는,
    ETTP 지시에 의해 병진 운동하는 조향휠을 구속하는 조향휠 후방에 마련된 대시보드임을 특징으로 하는 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 시스템.
  3. 제2 항에 있어서, 상기 대시보드는,
    ETTP 지시에 의해 병진 운동하는 조향휠을 구속하기 위해, 전면에서 상호 이격된 채 대향을 이루며 조향휠의 조향각을 구속하는 한 쌍의 구속블록;
    상기 한 쌍의 구속블록 사이에 형성되어 ETTP 지시에 의해 병진 운동하는 조향휠을 삽입되게 하는 요홈;
    을 포함하여 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 시스템.
  4. 운전자로 하여금 주행하는 차량을 정차시켜 파킹시키는 차량의 파킹 단계;
    운전자로 하여금 정차되어 파킹된 차량의 점화장치를 점멸시키는 점화장치의 점멸 단계;
    EPS로 하여금 조향휠의 중립을 조정시키는 조향휠의 중립 단계;
    중립된 조향휠을 ETTS으로 하여금 조향 구속부의 대시보드 방향으로 병진 운동시켜 운전자의 위치에서 후퇴되는 조향휠을 상기 대시보드의 구속블록 사이에 형성된 요홈에 구속시키는 조향휠의 구속 단계;
    차량의 전원을 소멸시키는 차량의 전원 오프 단계;
    를 포함하게 됨을 특징으로 하는 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 제어방법.
  5. 제4 항에 있어서, 상기 조향휠의 중립 단계는,
    파킹된 차량의 조향휠이 중립으로 조정된 상태인지 중립 조정되지 아니한 상태인지를 확인하는 조향휠의 중립 유무를 체크하는 단계;
    EPS로 하여금 중립 조정되지 아니한 조향휠을 탐지하는 조향휠의 조향각을 탐지하는 단계;
    EPS로 하여금 중립 조정되지 아니한 조향휠을 자동으로 보정하여 중립 조정하는 조향휠의 비중립 상태를 중립으로 보정하는 단계;
    를 더 포함하게 됨을 특징으로 하는 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 제어방법.
  6. 자동차의 전원 인가와 아울러 점멸장치를 점화시키는 차량의 파워를 인가하는 단계;
    EPS 및 ETTS의 전원 모두를 인가시키는 EPS 및 ETTS의 파워를 인가하는 단계;
    구속된 상태의 조향휠을 ETTS로 하여금 조향 구속부의 대시보드에 형성된 구속블록의 요홈으로부터 운전자의 방향으로 전진하며 병진 운동시킴에 따라 구속블록에 의해 구속된 조향휠을 해제하는 조향휠의 구속을 해제하는 단계;
    를 포함하게 됨을 특징으로 하는 도난방지 구조를 구비한 차량용 조향 제어방법.
