Description
The present invention relates to a cosmetic comprising a chia seed extract, and more particularly, it has a skin cell and collagen fiber proliferation effect, the effect of promoting skin activity such as sunburn healing and skin melanogenesis production inhibitory effect, skin aging The present invention relates to a cosmetic having an prevention, whitening effect and skin damage alleviating effect.
Skin is the body's primary protective film that protects internal organs from changes in temperature and humidity, and from stimuli from the external environment such as ultraviolet rays and pollutants. However, excessive physical and chemical stimuli, stress, and malnutrition from the outside can reduce the normal function of the skin, promote the aging of the skin, and damage the skin. By using physiologically active substances obtained from various animals, plants, and microorganisms in cosmetics, there have been efforts to maintain skin's intrinsic function and activate skin cells to effectively suppress skin aging.
However, the cosmetics using chia seeds have not been studied so far.
The present invention contains a chia seed extract has a skin cell and collagen fiber proliferation effect, the effect of promoting the activation of skin functions such as sunburn healing and skin melanin production inhibitory effect, a cosmetic having a skin aging prevention, whitening effect and skin damage relieving effect It aims to provide.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a cosmetic comprising a chia seed extract as an active ingredient.
In addition, the cosmetic of the present invention is characterized in that it contains the chia seed extract in an amount of 0.001 to 10% by weight based on the total weight of the total composition.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail.
Chia seed is a kind of saruvia belonging to the perennial mint group, and its seed is oval about 2 mm in diameter, and it is valuable in nutritional value such as rich in minerals and amino acids. In addition, about 30% of the chia seed is fat, and at least 60% of the fat is α-linolenic acid, which is a ω-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid. Chia Seed is rich in dietary fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, various amino acids and vitamins, and has been used as a traditional food source of durability, strength, health and beauty in Latin America, including Mexico for over 1,000 years.
The chia seed extract used in the present invention is not limited to chia seed itself, and a leaching liquid obtained by leaching or elution from chia seed, or a concentrate obtained by partially or totally concentrating the leaching liquid, or an acupuncture prepared by drying the concentrate, It includes premise, periodic and flow extract (hereinafter referred to as extract extract).
The present invention includes chia seed extract in the cosmetic extract of the active ingredient through a conventional method.
As a specific example of the extraction, finely crushed chia seeds and water, lower alcohols having 1 to 5 carbon atoms (methanol, ethanol), a mixture of water and lower alcohols, acetone, 1,3-butylene Polar solvents such as glycol, normal propanol, isopropanol, and normal butanol and mixed solvents thereof are added by 5 to 20 times by volume, followed by immersion extraction and filtration. The filtrate is concentrated under reduced pressure. After adding water to the concentrate and dispersing the same, an equal amount of a low polar organic solvent such as ethyl acetate, chloroform, and die ether may be added to the dispersion, shaken, and the organic layer is separated and concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain an excellent extract. Extraction method is about 12 to 96 hours for cold acupuncture and percolation, or anhydrous or hydrous lower alcohol having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, ethyl acetate or dieth ether as a solvent for 3 to 20 days at room temperature of 4 to 25 ° C. It is also possible to extract the active ingredient by leaving it to mature. In the case of warm needle, it is different depending on the type and temperature of the solvent and the like, but the appropriate one is about 5 to 24 hours at a temperature close to the reflux temperature of the solvent.
Chia seed extract obtained as described above has a very strong whitening effect, wrinkle improvement effect, skin damage healing and activation effect compared to the first extraction with a polar solvent, and is manufactured as an external skin ointment or lotion for human skin When applied, the effect is very good. It also does not cause any side effects.
Chia seed extract prepared as described above is preferably included in 0.001 to 10% by weight based on the total weight of the cosmetic. When the concentration is less than 0.001% by weight, no obvious effect can be expected, and when it exceeds 10.0% by weight, no apparent effect increases with increasing content.
Cosmetics having a whitening effect, skin aging prevention and skin damage healing effect of the present invention is not particularly limited in the formulation, for example, supple cosmetics, nourishing cosmetics, massage cream, nourishing cream, pack, gel, lotion, It may be a composition having a formulation of an ointment, gel, cream, patch or spray. These compositions can be prepared according to conventional methods in the art.
Compositions of the present invention include fatty substances, organic solvents, solubilizers, thickening and gelling agents, emollients, antioxidants, suspending agents, stabilizers, blowing agents, fragrances, surfactants, water, ionic or nonionic emulsifiers, fillers, metals In the field of cosmetics or dermatology, such as ion blockers and chelating agents, preservatives, vitamins, blockers, wetting agents, essential oils, dyes, pigments, hydrophilic or lipophilic actives, lipid vesicles or any other ingredients commonly used in cosmetics It may contain a commonly used adjuvant. These adjuvants are introduced in amounts commonly used in cosmetics or dermatology.
In addition, in the cosmetic of the present invention, other components than the chia seed extract described above may be appropriately selected and blended by those skilled in the art without difficulty according to the formulation or purpose of use of other cosmetics.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail by way of Examples, but the following Examples are merely illustrative of the present invention, and the scope of the present invention is not limited to the following Examples.
Example 1 Preparation of Chia Seed Extract
The chia seeds were washed with purified water and dried, and then 100 g of crushed chia seed powder was put in 1 liter of a 50% ethanol aqueous solution, boiled for 12 hours in an extractor equipped with a cooling condenser, filtered through a 300 mesh filter cloth, and the filtrate was filtered through 4-15. After aging at room temperature for 7 days, the resultant was filtered with Whatman No. 2 filter paper. 3 liters of the extract was added to a separatory funnel, and 1 liter of ethyl acetate was added thereto, shaken well, mixed well, and then completely separated into two layers, and the upper layer (ethyl acetate layer) was taken. The lower layer (water layer) was put back into the separating funnel and extracted twice more with ethyl acetate. The combined upper layers were combined, concentrated under reduced pressure at 50 ° C. using a distillation apparatus equipped with a cooling condenser, and dried to obtain a dry weight of 18.2 g.
Example 2 and Comparative Example 1
Using the chia seed extract prepared in Example 1 to prepare a cream with the composition shown in Table 1. The cream of Comparative Example 1 was prepared in the same manner as in Example 2, except that no chia seed extract was used.
Using the cream of Example 2, the following experiment was performed to confirm the whitening effect, wrinkle improvement effect, skin damage healing and activation effect.
<Test Example 1> Whitening efficacy test for human skin
The test site was set for each of the 20 male subjects, and the test site was attached with an opaque tape from which certain areas (6 holes of 1.5 cm in diameter) were removed, and then 1.5 of the minimum Erythema Dose of each subject was tested. UV light is irradiated at ˜2 times to induce blackening of the skin, and the cream prepared in Example 2 and Comparative Example 1 is applied, and then, after two months, a chromameter (Chromameter, Minolta CR-300) The contrast of the skin was measured. The creams of Comparative Examples 1 and 2 were applied twice a day (morning and evening) every day, and the determination of the effect was determined by obtaining an "L" value representing the contrast of the skin. In general, unburned Korean skin color ranges from 50 to 70. On the other hand, if the test material is effective to apply the L value is gradually increased, the comparison between the test materials ΔL value, that is, the final L value minus the initial L value (ΔL) value (final L value-experiment Value before material application). The larger the ΔL value, the greater the whitening effect, and the results are shown in Table 2 below.
TABLE 2
As shown in Table 2, the ΔL value of the cream of Example 2 was 2.28, it was confirmed that there is a whitening effect when compared with the ΔL value 1.32 of Comparative Example 1.
<Test Example 2> Skin wrinkle improvement effect on human skin
Ten subjects with facial wrinkles aged 35 to 45 years were evaluated to evaluate the effect of improving skin wrinkles. In the experimental method, Example 2 was used for the left side of the subject and Comparative Example 1 was used for the right side for 3 months. After measuring the skin condition on both sides of the face before using the cream, the same area was remeasured three months after the use of the cream to measure the change in skin wrinkles. Skin measurement was performed in a constant temperature and humidity room with a temperature of 24 ° C. and a relative humidity of 40%. The wrinkles at the tail of the eyes were replicated, and skin wrinkles were measured using a Visiometer system (C + K). The amount of change in skin wrinkles was calculated according to Equation 1 below.
[Equation 1]
Where Tdi is the measured value at D90 and Tdo is the measured value at D0
As a result of calculation according to the above formula, the skin wrinkle at the site using Comparative Example 1 showed a decrease of 3.1 ± 2.2% (mean ± standard deviation), whereas the skin wrinkle at the site using Example 2 was reduced by 15 ± 4.1%. To improve skin wrinkles.
Experimental Example 3 Anti-inflammatory Effect
In order to examine the anti-inflammatory effect of chia seeds, 20 rats each of 5 rats were treated with 1.0 wt% of the chia seed extract of Example 1 and the comparative group treated with 1.0 wt% of indomethacin, In addition, the experiment was performed by dividing into a control group treated with only arachidonic acid to measure the average value of the mouse ear thickness. First, the sample group treated with chia seed extract and the comparative group treated with indomethacin were continuously applied with a sample at 20 μl / ear once a day for 4 days, and the control group treated with only arachidonic acid was a solvent once a day for 4 days. Only the same amount of ethanol was applied. One hour after the last application, arachidonic acid was applied to all groups at 2 mg / ear to artificially induce edema in the rat's ear. After 1 hour, the degree of edema of the ear was measured using a micrometer. Was repeated three times to record the change in ear thickness. Anti-inflammatory effect was determined as the degree of edema inhibition based on the control group treated with arachidonic acid only (see Equation 2).
[Equation 2]
% Inhibition = (A-B) / Ax100
A: thickness change of control rat ear
(Thickness of ears after arachidonic acid treatment-thickness of ears before arachidonic acid treatment)
B: thickness change of sample or control rat ears
(Thickness of ears after arachidonic acid treatment-thickness of ears before arachidonic acid treatment)
The measurement results are shown in Table 3 below.
TABLE 3
As shown in Table 3, it was confirmed that the chia seed extract according to the present invention has an anti-inflammatory effect.
<Test Example 4> acne healing effect test
Using six white rabbits, 50:50 oleic acid-flowing paraffin was applied to the inside of both ears of the rabbit once a day for two weeks to induce acne. Measured. Here, chia seed extract and ion-exchanged water were applied once a day for 2 weeks, respectively, and then the degree of acne size change was measured.
As a result, the application of chia seed extract decreased the average size of acne by about 65% compared to the control group. This indicates that chia seed extract is effective for acne healing.
Cosmetics containing chia seed extract could be prepared in the following formulation as a specific example.
