Claims (4)
- 다공질의 격벽에 의해 구획되고 배기 가스가 길이 방향으로 입구로부터 출구로 유통하는 복수의 유통 구멍을 가지며, 서로 접합된 복수의 허니컴 세그먼트를 포함하고,각 허니컴 세그먼트는 교대로 배치된 제1 유통 구멍과 제2 유통 구멍을 포함하며,상기 제1 유통 구멍은 상기 입구에서 밀봉되고 상기 출구에서 개방되고,상기 제2 유통 구멍은 상기 입구에서 개방되고 상기 출구에서 밀봉되며,각 허니컴 세그먼트는 상기 입구에 중앙 부분과 이 중앙 부분을 둘러싸는 주변 부분을 가진 단부면을 가지며,상기 중앙 부분의 상기 제2 유통 구멍은 상기 입구에서 추가 밀봉되고,상기 중앙 부분은 상기 입구에서 유통 구멍의 밀봉율이 상기 주변 부분의 밀봉율보다도 큰 것인 세라믹 필터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중앙 부분의 추가 밀봉율은 추가 밀봉량에 의해 증가하는 필터 전체의 압력 손실 상승율이 소정값 이하이며, 필터에 퇴적된 그을음 연소시의 최고 온도의 감소율이 소정값 이상인 것을 전제로 하여 설정되어 있는 것인 세라믹 필터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중앙 부분의 추가 밀봉율은 상기 입구에서 각 허니컴 세그먼트의 단부면의 전면적에 대하여 0.1% 내지 10%의 범위인 것인 세라믹 필터.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 중앙 부분의 추가 밀봉율은 상기 입구에서 각 허니컴 세그먼트의 단부면의 전면적에 대하여 0.1% 내지 10%의 범위인 것인 세라믹 필터.
