- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 사이클로메탈화 리간드(CyN-CyC)는 하기 구조식으로 표시되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 금속 착물.상기식중, R1, R2, R3, R4 및 R5는 서로에 관계없이 일치환 또는 다치환된 작용기로서, 수소, 할로겐 원자, -OR, -N(R)2, -P(R)2, -POR, -PO2R, -PO 3R, -SR, -Si(R)3, -B(R)2, -B(OR)2, -C(O)R, -C(O)OR, -C(O)N(R), -CN, -NO 2, -SO2, -SOR, -SO2R, -SO3R, C1-C20 알킬기, 또는 C6-C20 아릴기이고, 상기 R은 1항에서 정의된 바와 같고, Z는 S, O 또는 NR0(R0은 수소 또는 C1-C20 알킬기임)이다.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 M과 결합하는 질소 원자를 포함하는 A가,치환 혹은 비치환된 트리에틸아민, 프로필아민, 사이클로헥실아민, 피롤리딘, 피롤린, 피페리딘, 피리미딘, 인돌, 아자인돌, 카바졸, 인다졸, 노하만, 하만, 아닐린, 이미다졸, 옥사졸, 티아졸(thiazole), 피라졸(pyrazole), 피롤(pyrrole), 벤즈이미다졸(benzimidazole), 벤조트리아졸, 벤조옥사졸, 벤조싸이아졸, 벤조셀레나졸, 벤조싸이디아졸, 이소옥사졸, 이소싸이아졸, 옥사디아졸, 티아디아졸, 안트라닐, 트리아진, 벤즈이소아졸, 피라진, 트리아진, 퀴놀린, 벤조퀴놀린, 아크리딘, 티아졸리딘(thiazoline), 퀴뉴클리딘, 이미다졸린, 옥사졸린, 티아졸린, 이소퀴놀린(isoquinoline)으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 하나로부터 파생된 것임을 특징으로 하는 유기 금속 착물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 X는 -F, -Cl, -Br, -I, -CN, -CN(R), -SCN 또는 -OCN이고, R은 치환 또는 비치환된 C1-C20 알킬기인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 금속 착물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 M은 Ir 또는 Pt인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 금속 착물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 유기 금속 착물이 하기 화학식 2 내지 14로 표시되는 화합물중에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 금속 착물.[화학식 2][화학식 3][화학식 4][화학식 5][화학식 6][화학식 7][화학식 8][화학식 9][화학식 10][화학식 11][화학식 12][화학식 13][화학식 14]상기식중, M 및 CyN-CyC은 1항에서 정의된 바와 같고,R6 및 R7은 서로에 관계없이 일치환 또는 다치환된 작용기로서, 수소, 할로겐 원자, -OR, -N(R)2, -P(R)2, -POR, -PO2R, -PO3R, -SR, -Si(R) 3, -B(R)2, -B(OR)2, -C(O)R, -C(O)OR, -C(O)N(R), -CN, -NO2, -SO2, -SOR, -SO2R, -SO 3R, 치환 또는 비치환된 C1-C20 알킬기, 치환 또는 비치환된 C6-C20 아릴기 또는 치환 또는 비치환된 C1-C20 헤테로아릴기이고, R6 및 R7중 서로 다른 위치에 치환된 치환기는 서로 연결되어 치환 또는 비치환된 축합(fused) 4-7 원자 고리 화합물을 형성할 수 있고,R8, R9 및 R10은 서로 독립적으로 치환 또는 비치환된 C1-C 20 알킬기, 치환 또는 비치환된 C6-C20 아릴기 또는 치환 또는 비치환된 C2-C20 헤테로아릴기이고,X는 F, Cl, Br, I, CN, CN(R), SCN 또는 OCN이고, n은 1 또는 2이다.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 화합물이 하기 화학식 25 내지 35로 표시되는 화합물중에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 금속 착물.[화학식 15] [화학식 16] [화학식 17] [화학식 18] [화학식 19][화학식 20] [화학식 21] [화학식 22] [화학식 23][화학식 24] [화학식 25] [화학식 26] [화학식 27][화학식 28] [화학식 29] [화학식 30] [화학식 31] [화학식 32][화학식 33] [화학식 34] [화학식 35]
- 한 쌍의 전극 사이에 유기막을 포함하는 유기 전계 발광 소자에 있어서,상기 유기막이 제1항 내지 제7항중 어느 한 항의 유기 금속 착물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계 발광 소자.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 유기막이 1종 이상의 고분자 호스트, 고분자 호스트와 저분자 호스트의 혼합물, 저분자 호스트, 및 비발광 고분자 매트릭스로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 하나 이상을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계 발광 소자.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 유기막이 녹색 발광 물질 또는 적색 발광 물질을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 전계 발광 소자.
