Claims (5)
- 배기 정화용 기초재의 제조방법에서, 복수 개의 격벽에 의해 구획된 서로 평행하게 연장되는 복수 개의 통로를 갖는 예비 성형체를 성형하는 공정, 소정 통로를 구획하는 격벽의 단부를 이 통로의 중앙축선으로 향하여 가까워지도록 변형시켜 이들 격벽의 선단끼리를 접속시키는 제 1 변형공정 및, 상기 제 1 변형공정에 의해 변형되어 접속된 격벽의 단면이 대응하는 통로의 중앙축선을 중심으로 오목해지도록 상기 격벽의 선단을 변형시키는 제 2 변형공정을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 정화용 기초재의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 변형공정과 제 2 변형공정이 동시에 실행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 정화용 기초재의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 소정 통로의 개구를 완전히 폐색하기 위해서 요구되는 격벽 단부의 형상에 기초하여 상기 통로의 개구를 완전히 폐색하기 위해서 필요한 격벽 단부의 변형량이 산출되고, 상기 제 1 변형공정에서는 이 산출된 변형량보다 적은 양만큼 격벽의 단부가 변형되고, 상기 제 2 변형공정에서는 상기 산출된 변형량 중 제 1 변형공정에서 변형되지 않았던 분량의 변형량만큼 격벽의 단부가 변형되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 정화용 기초재의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 소정 통로의 개구를 완전히 폐색하기 위해서 요구되는 격벽 단부의 형상에 기초하여 상기 통로의 개구를 완전히 폐색하기 위해서 필요한 격벽 단부의 변형량이 산출되고, 상기 제 1 변형공정과 제 2 변형공정에서의 격벽 단부의 총 변형량이 상기 산출된 변형량보다 많은 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 정화용 기초재의 제조방법.
- 복수 개의 격벽에 의해 구획된 서로 평행하게 연장되는 복수 개의 통로를 갖는 배기 정화용 기초재에 있어서, 소정 통로를 구획하는 격벽의 단면이 상기 통로의 중앙축선을 중심으로 오목해지도록 상기 격벽의 단부가 모아진 형태로 접속됨으로써 상기 통로의 개구가 폐색되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 정화용 기초재.
